Months of issues and delays for my Porsche. Failed communications and a returned vehicle with damages. On top of it, they completely lied to me about having brought my car to Porsche service to have the mechanicals checked post the accident!Upon receipt of the car with remaining issues they assured me they would stand behind their work and correct it. Fast forward a month: no repairs, nothing scheduled. I finally got an appointment only to show up and find out my advisor Prya was too busy to help me and had, yet again, failed to be ready with a rental or to take my car. When the following week had a fail again, I had to go back to insurance and start the whole process over at another body shop.Ironically, I found out I have a neighbor with a Mercedes who also said Fairfield collision has fallen apart and had to take his car elsewhere. Try Marty s in Norwalk, they re great and honest and reliable to do what they tell you.

I've been living in Fairfield County for over er fifty years and luckily, haven't had frequent need for a good auto body repair shop. At those times that I have, the folks at Fairfield Collision Center have been nothing short of Spectacular.....from initial inspection to final delivery they pay meticulous attention to your vehicle....wouldn't even think of going elsewhere

The worst repair experience of my life. Do not bring your car here. I got into an accident, they told me 24 hrs for an estimate. After going in and calling everyday for 5 days and contacting my insurance to complain about the customer service only then was I given an estimate. Then I was told 4 days later that my estimate had changed. In result trying to total my car. After going somewhere else with my estimate I was told my car is not totaled. Going between my insurance company and Fairfield collusion center they gave me such a hard time after 11 days there still no clear answer on an estimate. I ended up bringing my car to circle collusion in Fairfield the guy Rich could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend this place family owned.

I have had two consecutive experiences where the shop has promised the car and never delivered. The first time the job took 3 months! And it was only resolved when I figured out what part they were missing and I found it myself. Then I moved the process along by calling daily and telling them how to proceed. This time they have postponed delivery twice. Service rep has never called me back, only the receptionist. They don t have it together and I suggest you go elsewhere.

Dan, Jamilah, and the rest of the Fairfield Collision Center team got my car in quickly for repairs, worked quickly with my adjuster, arranged for my rental to be picked up (and dropped off) on site, communicated quickly and clearly with me during each step of the process, and the repairs were top notch. I chose FCC originally because they are manufacturer certified to work on both Audis and Porsche, among other luxury brands. This was important to me as a lot of the colors on these European cars can be difficult to paint match. No issues here whatsoever with paint or repair quality. I would def recommend FCC and will be using them in the future though hopefully no more accidents! They were very accommodating to my additional requests as well. Shout out to the Enterprise team they work with as well!

Quality of the work and working out details with insurance and car rental was fine. Communication was terrible. Initial estimate of 2-3 weeks turned into 6 weeks with just two text messages during the timeframe. No one answers the calls or returns calls after leaving messages including the manager who gave me his direct line to call . I had to physically go there 6 times to get updates. Every time I was promised with a follow up call or an estimated time of completion, it never came to fruition. Eventually I had to insist on getting my car back by a particular date and even on the day of pick up I had to wait another 30 minutes since they were stilling finishing up. Horrible customer service and absolutely unresponsive to communication requests. It was a very frustrating experience.

Great job on the repair itself, but the customer service rep assigned to me was terrible and completely unresponsive as delays dragged on. In the end she completely ignored me, didn t return calls and only reached out two fulls days after I picked the car up. Besides her they were great but she was just awful.

I recently picked up my Honda ridgeline from them and I m very sad to say that I m disappointed that I received my vehicle with issues from the accident and from poor workmanship. My tail light was left unplugged upon reassembly of the vehicle, and they never corrected the alignment issue that was from the accident. Fog light they replaced filled with water. They worked with me on my deductible, but that doesn t mean I should get an unfinished car. They had my car for about two months

**UPDATE** Fairfield Collision Center replied to this review, asking for the opportunity to learn more about my experience. But the thing is that prior to writing this review, I reached out to the very person who replied to my review on his direct line and left a voicemail, informing him of the sloppy job the Center did. I never heard back. It s good to know a customer s feedback falls upon deaf ears until you decide to air the dirty laundry, but I guess that is how you re supposed to conduct business nowadays. �\_( )_/�Save yourself the time, money and sanity and find a better place. Though the staff is tolerable, my experience was a complete disaster that dragged over the course of an entire month. Because of their complete incompetence, my repaired car was held hostage for almost two weeks, leaving me carless and having to rely on rides from people. I held my cool with them and gave them ample time to work out a dispute with the insurance company that caused this mess, hoping this would be resolved in a short amount of time.Not once during this entire ordeal, was I offered a rental/courtesy car, nor was I allowed to get one even after I eventually asked (I was told that the simple fact of a supervisor not being around was the reason for not being able to get a rental).After a full month of having the car in the shop, I finally get my car back to see not only sloppy work, (the new door had been installed but they left the plastic wrap that comes from the manufacturer) but now I come to find that there are new dents and scuff marks on the complete opposite side of where the car was affected! To make matters even worse, I found a random sensor that was loosely hanging from the bottom front of my car How does one, working so much time around cars, forget something so trivial like a sensor?Finally, for the cherry on top of this nightmarish sundae, the new door they had installed began breaking down within its first week of being on the car, with the molding starting to almost peel, or pop off. I am no car expert, but how does a new door start to break down so soon? These major signs of oversight on their part obviously reflects the lack of attention and experience that this shop has with dealing with customers and automobiles.Fixing cars is not as easy as leaving your technical high school shop class and going straight into the real world. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this place for any work. I ended up going to another location to get everything fixed properly and in a timely manner.I wouldn t trust them fixing my breakfast let alone my car.

From scheduling appointment to picking up finished vehicle, job well done from start to finish. Dealt with my insurance company directly and obtained authorization for the work that needed to be done to complete the job, not just what the claims adjuster estimated. Most importantly, my car looks great!!!

Here is my honest opinion:1. Overall, they did a great job with the repair and I am super happy2. However, I was told two weeks and then lied to multiple times about when it was going to be done. It ended up taking 5 weeks. I honestly didn t care about the time but I opted not to get a rental and then continued to opt to not get a rental because of the timeline. I was lied to multiple times, had to follow up to get answers and had I not - it probably would have taken longer.So quality of work is a 4 out of 5 but customer service is a -3 out of 5. Your choice on what you are ready to deal with.

I have used Fairfield Collision Center twice and they have been wonderful. They texted me daily telling me the progress made on my car repairs. They are courteous, sympathetic, and do a fantastic job. I especially want to express my highest praise for Daniel Lameda who was the individual that was my contact person during my repairs. As upsetting as it is to have repairs done after an accident, Fairfield Collision and Dan made the process less painful.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Chris and his team at Fairfield Collision Center were professional, punctual, and quickly fixed damage to my car. Great experience! My car was hit by my neighbor and Geico referred me to Fairfield Collision. We used them before with great results two other times. And this time was just as good! Dropped off quickly and had my car back looking perfect in a little over a week. In fact, because they cleaned the car, my car looked BETTER after :) Highly recommend...Service: Body & Trim

Fairfield Collision did an exemplary job on my 2011 Audi Q5 this month. From the estimate to follow up about estimated time of finish to getting the car back in immaculate condition, I could not have been happier. They not only fixed the door and did the job beautifully but they got a stain out of my front passenger seat without my asking and they washed my beloved Seabiscuit and made him shine from stem to stern. UPDATED 10/8Manager and team did right by me and addressed all the issues that surfaced on my car. Took longer than expected, but they did a job well done overall.UPDATED 5/25Got a call from the manager who said they are going to work with me to update all the issues and problems with my car. Feeling listened to and appreciate the willingness on their part to do the right thing. Will update this review again once my car has been fully repaired.- - - - - - - - - - - - - --FCC took my car in around July of '22 and the repairs are not great. They did not complete all of the repairs and citing supply chain issues and taking their sweet time. When I did finally get my car back, all 4 rims were deeply scuffed up which was not the case when I dropped it off, so my car came back worse than when I dropped it off. Making matter worse, they told me I could keep the rental car and no issues because they were taking too long, but not the insurance company is not covering the extended time delay and I am personally on the hook for the rental car even though FCC told me they would take care of it. Complete mess and I would never take my vehicle here again.

It s really hard to find mechanics who you can trust to do a great job! I was in a car accident, and got the car towed to Fairfield. I just received the car today and I m so happy at the final result!My only critique would be communicating expectations. I was told on a few occasions that it would be finished on a specific day, just for that day to come and there s still work to be done on the vehicle. This went on for over 2 months. Thankfully, they were accommodating and towed the car to my place so I didn t have to make the long travel, which was very helpful!I give them a 4 out of 5. Even though expectations could ve been communicated better, I d still recommend this shop for their stellar work when all is said and done!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

As we are still challenged with low inventory parts, my point of contact was continously in touch with me to let me know where I should expect to get my car done. They did a great job and made my return to the rental place a breeze. Overall they made this unfortunate experience a great experience!

I highly recommend Fairfield Collision Center They are friendly, respectful, and trustworthy and their work is beautiful!. Tony managed my car repair from start to finish. He inspected the car with me and explained what he was seeing rather than being told to have a seat while he goes out and inspects. I have used them 3 times with great results each time. Tony welcomed me to call him with any concerns and he was personable and sincerely cared. I felt confident when I left my car in his hands and when I went back to pick it up it was clean and the paint job was like when it was brand new. He said it was going to come out beautiful and it did! I will not try any other collision repair shop again.We have used other body shops that were recommended by the dealership of one of our cars and another by a good friend. They looked good at first but then some things came apart a few months later. One of them sent us away without fixing a broken motor mount and charged the insurance company for a new rim and new tire that we noticed were not replaced once we got home.

Horrific. I will never return my vehicle to this place. Took over a month to get my car (which was drivable and not totaled) fixed. When calling nobody ever had a straight answer when asked for an update and if they say they will call you the next day they will NOT. Overall terrible service. There is nothing that would get me to repeat business or recommend it to anyone.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting
