I purchased a battery from this place in February of 2023, called them this morning to get my battery replaced and was told there is nothing they can do about replacing my battery because they were not the ones that sold it me. I explained to them I have a warranty on they battery and my receipt, the guy says I m sorry Ma am but there is nothing that can be done. I m beyond pissed.

Horrible. I can t believe this place is still in business. Nobody comes out to greet you when you arrive. Very unprofessional set up and service. Emissions tech arrives to work whenever she wants. 9:15 was her arrival time today. Several of us who showed up at 8am ish waited over an hour for emissions testing. Only to have them come out and tell us the emissions testing system went down half way thru the first customers test. What a waste of time. Not exactly state of the art technology. Unprofessional experience all the way anrohnd. Old run down garage. Never again.

Horrible, second time I scheduled an oil change for my son and he gets there and they couldn t do it, how do you run a business like this! Will never recommend them!!!

Went to Mad Hatter today for the first time (needed emissions test to register my car). Place was busy but very well organized. The gentleman at the desk was professional and was doing a lot of multi-tasking but not neglecting any customer! The person who did my test was also professional. They both were polite and pleasant. Highly recommend

This was my first visit to Mad Hatter, and I was extremely pleased with the service of the work I had done and the customer service I received. The owner Brandon was exceptional, caring and professional I'm so glad I found someone I can trust and count on being treated like family in the future. Thank you so much Brandon, Phil Brandon's Dad, and Paige. You all make an excellent team of a hard working company!!

Although my appointment was for 8 a.m. and no one was there, the staff was welcoming and the mechanic was informative and efficient when my car was finally repaired. Will recommend to all!

My AC wasn't working ever since I bought my car (2nd hand). Had Nissan see what was wrong. Come to find out it was my AC compressor and Nissan charge a arm and leg to fix it. So I ask Mad Hatter do they AC repair. They do and it was affordable, so I had them put in a compresser. Now my AC is back just in time for summer. I have had Mad Hatter do numerous repairs on my car. I must say this place is A-1 they do great work for reasonable price. They will continue to get my business and they're friendly.Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair

Had an appointment for my brakes (brake pads and rotors only) at 8am. At 11:50am the front desk called me to say the job was done but the Mechanic noticed that the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. She asked if I wanted them to do the work now OR schedule an appointment for a later date. I asked how much was the brake job and was told $650. I then asked how much if I got the wheel bearing done and was told an additional 650 ($180 for parts and $460 for labor). I declined to have the additional work done and said I would be in for my car around 3:30/4:00. She said fine, see you then. When I went to pick up my car the lady at the front desk (Ashley) said I needed to sign a waiver before I could get my car because not getting the wheel bearing done is a hazard. I asked her when did the Mechanic notice I needed the wheel bearing, she said when he was working on the brakes. My response was if this is such a hazard, why didn't the Mechanic stop and have you call me to tell me this needed to be done while he was working in that area?? I got no response. I told her I wasn't signing the wavier, here's payment and give me my car keys. She said she can't without me signing the wavier because of the danger it can cause. My response was if what you're saying is true, the Mechanic would've stopped when he saw how "bad" the wheel bearing is but instead he finished the job and now I need to sign a wavier to get my car back? I didn't sign the wavier, paid, and got my car keys. This place is untrustworthy and unethical. Even if I need additional work done this place will not be doing it. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST!!Service: Brakes

Went there for emissions testing when everyone else was closed on a saturday. Great customer service over the telephone very polite and professional upon entry to the business quick efficient I was in and out of there maybe 10 minutes and there was someone there before me. Seems like a nice family business

Dropped my car off on 5/11/2023 because I needed my power steering pumped replaced and this was the beginning of my he worst experience I ve ever had at a mechanics. First, they didn t even look at my car for 3 days. Second, when they finally got to work on my car it took them near two weeks to get it back to me. Over and over again they kept telling me it was done or going to be done only to drive there and find out it was going to be another day or so. It got to the point where the front desk ppl started to ignore my calls completely.After two weeks I finally get my car back only for my alignment to be completely jacked up. I go in there thinking it was just a mistake and the guy goes yea we don t have the tool to do the alignment just take it down the road . This was after me paying $1900. I asked why was I never told about the alignment not being completed and he replied you should have known . This is when I started to get angry and decided to leave. There were even ppl in the lobby who started defending me and told me they were dealing with similar issues from them.Nobody I repeat NOBODY TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I was referred to Mad Hatter by many friends, I was there first thing in the AM no wait for ermissions test. Receptionist greeted me w a smile super friendly. My emissions test was done in mins. The gentleman that did the testing made sure to point out the date for the next emissions test so I don't miss it next time. Everyone there was super friendly! I will definitely bring my car back for maintenance and auto repair needs in the future!

Brought my truck for emissions, they have coffee and water avaliable. I was 3rd in line and it took maybe 15 minutes! Great service for emissions!

Had to have a sleeve welded onto exhaust. Did job and was happy with price and NO up selling to me like Firestone does . Highly recommend and will consider for all work from now on.

They were great. When other repair shops told me to replace my catalytic converter but all it really needed was the flex pipe replaced cuz it had a hole in it, they did it without a problem and a decent price right then and there.

Had to go in for emissions,went to firestone initially at 805,(five min after opening) they told me 130-2 hr wait. Quick Google search lead me to this shop. Two cars ahead of me. The wait was not long. They had one guy doing only emissions, so you are in and out. Hard working well run auto shop.will definitely be coming back for any other needs.

Mad is exactly how i left this place...After getting the run around for weeks, i was finally able to drive my vehicle off the lot in worse condition than when it got there. 1/16th of a star is my real rating.

For emissions tests for both my vehicles,when Covidd hit and then as businesses started to open back up,by appointment I was in and out. Year after and with no appointment I was still in and out, the place is costumer friendly and helpful.

Was referred by a friend...I stopped in to see when they could repair my car...they said tomorrow...I didn't want to frive my car so I asked if it would be ok to leave it till the next day for my 11am appointment...they said no problem...Phil brought me home as I don't live far away...hesaid he'd come pick me up the next day when my car was ready...next thing I know I got a call saying they were able to work on my car that day and gave me the estimate...I agreed and they did my repairs my car was ready by 4pm and Phil came to pick me up...great service very knowledgeable front staff...I highly recommend MadHatter for your car repairs...Service: Exhaust

I called to see if I needed and appointment to get my emissions done, and she said nope just come in any time. So I went about an hour after I called and the took me right in. I was in and out of there all set and ready to go in just 15 minutes. I was impressed. Very friendly and professional.

Mad Hatter is under new ownership, and it's even better than the great place it was before.It's obvious that new owner, Brandon Leblanc cares about his business: he's close by at the front desk to hear what his customers are saying; he personally responds; and he couldn't be more attentive and responsive to a need.I had a problem with my Volvo hatchback. It wouldn't close. That also means it wouldn't lock. With all of the car theft in our area, I felt vulnerable. The parking lot was full. The place was obviously busy. But, Brandon immediately walked me out to the parking space where my Volvo sat, examined the problem, popped the hinge thingy back in place, closed my hatch, and smiled like I had done him the favor.Well, Brandon, here is my repayment for your immediate and amazing help. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We will continue to patronize your awesome auto repair shop and emissions certificate center. You rock!Blessings for your success. I have no doubt you will it.

Everyone here is so kind and goes out of their way to help the customer. I needed to have some form filled out since the emissions testing system is down and they were the only place out of the 20 other shops I called that knew what I was talking about and were willing to fill it out for me. I highly recommend them!
