Munich Motorsports is the best place to go for BMW owners. They have been taking care of my 2006 330xi for years and I always leave happy. They are honest, professional and knowledgeable. They saved me from buying a new engine when the dealer told me it was hopeless. They fixed it and it still runs great after 225k miles. I don't mind driving 50 minutes to get to MM because they are worth it.I'm getting a new car soon (not BMW) so I wanted to show my appreciation to Munich Motorsports by writing this positive review. They deserve all the praise and the 5 stars.

After being taken advantage of at another company, a friend of ours recommended Munich. Munich, specifically Ian, was highly professional, provided exceptional service and documented every detail of our service and cost, as well as diagnosed future needs.Highly recommend Munich for all your BMW needs. I took My Girlfriends M2 Competition to Munich to have KW height adjustable springs and spacers installed. Top notch work. I own a 2009 328i that had an odd defect on the camshaft lobes in the engine, with only 77k miles on it. I'm a car enthusiast and DIY mechanic. I tinker with engines and have rebuilt a few in other vehicles. I had a general idea of what needed to be done, but these days with my work schedule I have zero time, and knew if I tackled the job myself the car would be apart for months in my garage. Being a bit of a perfectionist who has had to fix the work of other "shops" on my family's vehicles in the past, I was a bit hesitant bringing my car somewhere, but a friend re-assured me these guys knew their stuff. It's not often you come across a shop, or any business for that matter, where the owner himself will call you on the phone and explain what the deal is. Foad and his team are extremely knowledgeable, and provided excellent communication on the status of my car's repair, especially considering the level of complexity involved with ordering parts from Germany in the middle of a pandemic. The quality of the repair and attention to detail is unmatched, and I've been driving the car for a few months now 100 miles a day with zero issues. These guys understand car enthusiasts, are upfront and honest, and do great work. They will be the only ones I let touch my car (besides me) in the future. I was referred to Munich Motorsports by 2 people. 1 who was an existing happy customer, and 1 who is a European service tech at another shop.I was interested in making my 99' z3 into more of a track focused car as well as taking care of some of the known factory flaws that this particular car has.I had sent an email to Foad with a list of ideas, and he responded quickly, and we set up an inspection for the car. Once we met, Foad established a game plan that was where I wanted to be budget wise. I was sent a comprehensive breakdown of what they thought was an appropriate course of action to meet my needs and budget.Work was completed, and budget was kept to what was quoted.I was given an overview of the work completed and received all my old parts as requested.I would highly recommend this shop for quality of work, customer service and communication skills.

If you are NOT going to Munich Motorsports for your vehicle needs you are getting screwed!! These guys are the real deal. From the top down they are world class. Liam is awesome from the start. His customer service, scheduling and billing proves he cares about your experience at Munich. Their entire staff, ownership to mechanics, is knowledgeable and professional. Professionals, work on BMWs when others refuse, and of course more reasonable than the dealer. They also look for less expensive (but still good) parts. Saved me $400 on suspension parts.The missing star is because of 2 more minor, but noteworthy, things. One, they order parts last minute even if they have longer lead time, which meant my original appointment repair wasn't done the day it should have. Two, poor communication - they entered my email wrong (easy enough), but they didn't call or text (without me doing so first) until the last day.

Brought my fathers 740iL in after he passed . Needed a significant amount of work but was important for me as it was a connection to my dad. I gave 2 stars because I constantly felt like me checking up after not hearing about my car for weeks was an inconvenience. There was 0 customer service. When they finally called and told me they didn t want to work on the car anymore because they wanted to do new projects I went to pick up the car and no one could be bothered to greet me so I stood around for a bit. My car is at a new shop where they have really gone out of their way to find issues MM didn t find or report. All in all very disappointed with the service that I spent over 4K forService: General repairs & maintenance

My E90 was leaking oil and needed the oil pan gasket replaced. Brough it to Munich, as it is one of the top rated Euro car repair shops in CT, specializing in BMW. Dropped it off in the morning and was finished by the end of the day. While replacing they found out that the previous shop who did my oil change used the wrong filter, resulting the car from having normal oil pressure. Being the professional mechanics they are, they went ahead and replaced it with the correct Mann oil filter and on the drive home, the car feels better than ever. Great staff and great prices. Highly recommend to anyone who has a Euro car and want to have quality service done on their cars. Thanks again!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Nothing but good experiences so far. Every person I've spoken to at Munich has been knowledgeable and helpful as well as friendly. It's a longer drive than my previous tech but I trust these guys a lot more. Plus it's a good sign when a BMW service tech pulls you to the side at dealership and tells you how Munich will do better and cheaper work than they'll do at a dealer. Can't go wrong with these guys.

I literally drive my three BMWs down from Vermont for ALL maintenance and repairs. It is well worth the drive to know that my car is going to be fixed the first time and that it will be fixed by professionals and car enthusiasts. It has been at least 7 years that we've been bringing our cars here, and I can't think of a single negative experience. Bring your car here if you love it, you won't regret it!

Went to Munich for basic maintenance on my Mercedes. They went above and beyond and looked over the whole car, giving me a price breakdown and what my car would need in the future. If you have a European car i recommend you take it to Munich

Hi folks, just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for the great service on my car. It is finally running like a BMW should! The power increase is impressive and no more bogging down on acceleration. Please extend my gratitude to the technician that worked on my car. I was really getting distressed with all the problems I was running into and was living in fear of taking it to the stealership. Your evaluations were thorough and there was no pressure to do extra work, just good recommendations. It's obvious you guys know your stuff and enjoy the work you do. Excellent service and professional mechanics/staff made my experience at Munich Motorsports a pleasant one. Mechanics communicated with me throughout the entire process, and sent me before and after pictures of the work done before I picked it up. After this experience with them, Munich Motorsports will be my go to place for any work that needs to be done, and I must recommend this shop to anyone that needs either maintenance or performance upgrades done on their car.Service: Engine repair

I have been a huge fan of MMS for over a decade. Everyone on the team has only one goal in mind: give the customer value in terms of skilled quality professional work at the best price (typically half the dealer s price, and the dealer in Hartford has been dishonest to myself and friends many times). It s no wonder MMS continues to grow, among BMW, Porsche and Mercedes repair haus options, MMS is everything a customer wants and needs.

Nice educated guys who clearly have a lot of experience in Motorsport and bmw. They did an excellent job of communicating what needed to be done and recommend the correct repairs. The price seemed a bit excessive, but the quality was good. My only problem was one of my wheels was scratched pretty decently on the face.

Outstanding shop with talented techs always willing to give you the honest truth up front. Every time i brought my car in for service they would run down an entire list of things that'll be coming due soon, as well as doing proper installs and repairs. wouldn't bring a BMW to another shop within 500 miles of here! These guys are the best.

What a great group of guys! I gave them a call to see if they would be available for an alignment on my 2010 RX8. Now sure, they are a BMW specialty shop, but I read such positive reviews that I just had to ask. Scheduled my appointment and the excitement built up. Come the appointment day, I pulled in and was welcomed and given a quick rundown of everything that they planned on doing. They let me know well beforehand that, although they primarily work on german performance, they would for sure take care of my request. Now for anyone who has dealt with the RX8, they will know that the alignment and track tuning is almost completely opposite of what would be done to a BMW. They assured me that they would work with me throughout the process, and would let me know before any and every change and every charge. I came in with my own alignment specs for autocross, and was soon pulled into the bay to discuss the alignment while they worked on the car. I was given tips on my alignment, tweaks, and recommendations. Not only was the alignment done with digital equipment as opposed to the usual archaic equipment you see in your local shops, but it was done with weight in the driver seat to simulate the characteristics of me in the car.... you would be hard pressed to find a shop around here that takes alignments that seriously. After all was said and done, we had some friendly conversation about cars, racing, and was even invited to a track day. Great group of guys, CLEAN shop, and responsible workmanship.

These guys have been taking care of my 99 BMW 328i and all I can say is WOW! When I moved back to the Northeast I needed to find a new mechanic and I am glad I found Foad and the crew at Munich Motorsports. From the first time I brought my BMW to these guys I was treated with respect and cared for. These guys are honest and have the upmost integrity. They listen to you as a customer and treat your car as if it was their own. They will even take the time to bring me into the shop to explain what work will be performed. They are very professional and knowledgeable.You can tell these guys have a true passion for the cars they work on. Bringing my BMW to Munich Motorsports has made me want to own nothing but a BMW cause at least I won't ever have to worry about a mechanic.

I brought my BMW in for an oil change and a coolant leak check. This is my first BMW and they were very knowledgeable and honest with me! The whole set up of the waiting room/office was clean and the two men that helped me were very pleasant. I will be back for a few repairs and I feel confident knowing my car is in good hands. These guys did an amazing job for my E93 M3. I recently got the car from Carvana and instantly brought it to have a post purchase inspection done. I asked them to really give it a very thorough and stringent review and that s what I got. After the ppi, they worked with SilverRock(warranty company) and got the services that my car needed fully covered! They worked fast and diligently to get my car back on the road and running like a dream. It's such a relief to find a trustworthy operation for all of your vehicle's service and support. The folks at Munch provide very prompt service and are extremely good about open communication and explaining everything in layman's terms. Foad the owner is very freindly yet professional, he puts the customer first and is most concerned with making sure you are as satisfied as possible with your BMW. 6 stars, I would recommend Munich Motorsports every time!

This is the best BMW shop I've ever been to. They are better trained, more careful, and more personal than the dealer. Foad takes care of every customer very personally and gives lots of discounts. These guys are a BMW specialty shop with a focus on performance and can handle any repair. There is no reason to go anywhere else, and no better place to go. Got my clutch done on a 540i and could not be happier.

I found Munich MS two years ago after a local BMW dealer quoted me over 10K for repairs with equal measures of attitude and indifference. Munich MS took care of me, they were very professional, thoroughly explained all repairs and priced the work in a reasonable manner. Hoping I won t be back soon (who wants their car in the shop?), but if my BMW needs work, I will only work with Munich MS!

Excellent affordable service. I moved up to CT from Philly and found these guys. I never was able to find a good BMW mechanic in Philly the entire 7 years I was there. Munich got my E39 M5 in and out quick when I was having a fuel issue. If you have a BMW this is where you should take it.
