First and foremost, I never write reviews.My daughter will be getting her license here in a few weeks. She found a car she wanted a green mini so we found it. I purchased it for her and brought it home and put it directly into the garage to repair some minor issues. When I purchase that manager, Nick told me he took those wheels off his personal mini and put them on the one I purchased. So the car sat in my garage until I registered it maybe a week later the day after I registered it, I took it out of the garage and drove it down the road to work to find out the wheel Would fly off cause an accident and major damage to the car. I had it towed home and then I just called Nick and he made excuse saying maybe someone tries stealing my wheels off the car. He quickly shoved shrub it to the side and had nothing much to say. Poor management, poor customer service and poor quality cars do not buy from them I would not recommend.Now i m stuck fixing $500 worth of damage and Insurance is responsible for fixing someone else s Car. We went Friday to look at some of their vehicles. Young Nick was way cool, trainer Nick, not so much.2.5 stars isn't a good start to my search. I have read mostly complaints on here. My main issue, is the responses. They are very unprofessional to say the least. That is a huge turn off right there.Suggestion, perhaps be more professional and maybe more people would be drawn to your place of business. The last place we knew that talked to their customers like this ended up closing.I gave 3 stars because I had to give something. We have not personally bought any vehicle from here, so e have no dog in this fight. But, I can give a 3 for the unprofessional behavior we have seen over and over in this thread.

I called to see if they still had this 1988 cutlass I seen the price is extremely cheap I know the car will need work I could careless what it would ve needed I would ve bought it because I liked it but what I won t do is buy from anyone who doesn t know how to talk to people I understand everyday may not be your day but respects goes a long way I wanted to do business but the guy that answered that phone on 11/25/2023 at 12 o clock had a very nasty attitude hey it was only 2500 so what right? You get enough people not wanting to do business because of your costumer service and you ll eventually be out of business. Anyways it s a shame I would ve loved to restore that car!!! Oh and by the way for the people writing these reviews the cars are inexpensive expect to do sometime of work nothing is perfect but the prices are great you can t expect perfection for that price that s not realistic anyways good luck and good day to everybody

I liked these guys. They had a low cost car with some high miles. I went down drove a few of the cars and picked what I perceived as the best value, which was $2k under KBB. I tried negotiating but they were firm and of course charged a doc fee. They needed 2 days to get the title. I came Back 2 days later and had to wait an hour for FedEx. He toldMe that FedEx was coming around 4pm overThe phone and I got there early. Brian and Nick were both descent guys doing there thing. I of course had reasonable expectations, which is important when buying heavily used vehicles. I would recommend them and possibly use them again if I am in the market for that type of car. Thanks

So I went here and purchased a 2010 Rouge and this has been the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! I was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle my 1st day of driving I almost lost my life the car broke down in the middle of the highway I had to get it towed back the manager was very rude and refuse to switch vehicles or give me my money back I took it to Nissan to find out the transmission is going...I had to file a report and now I am out of $3200 and still no vehicle to drive I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE RUN!!!!!!!!

On 10/17/23 I visited Ct. Car Co. LLC and purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback that had a mileage listed as 256,254 on it for $2,995 "As is." I looked at the Car Fax provided and while it did have high mileage, it had an extensive Car Fax that seemingly showed the previous owners kept regular maintenance on it at Subaru dealerships in NH. Nick even stated, "It has the best Car Fax out of all the Subarus in the lot." I drove an hour from home on 10/18/23 to pick the car up but Nick said he was still waiting on the title, but neglected to call me. I picked the car up on 10/19/23 and drove it to my insurance company in MA to complete the paperwork. On 10/26/23 it began to smoke after operating it. I opened the hood and noticed that coolant had sprayed out all over the car and was boiling. I called my trusted mechanic and he informed me it might be the head gasket, but he was very backed up and the earliest he could get me in to even look at it was 10/31/23. I left the car at my residence until then and had it towed by AAA to Meadow Street Auto in Chicopee. My mechanic's report came back and it needs at the bare minimum- $4,730.91- just to make it drivable and safe. I took the findings and returned to CT. Car. Co. LLC on 11/4/23 to inform them of what happened and the cost it would need to be fixed. I explained to Nick that I would like a refund to which he stated, "That's not happening." He then smugly stated, "All vehicles are "As Is" and we're covered by CT. state law." I told him that there are exceptions to everything and that all I wanted was for him to do right by me, and refund my money. Nick still refused.The current mileage is 256,590. Upon looking at the Odometer Disclosure Statement, it is listed as 256,254. Nick also did not include his signature on the statement. When it was purchased at auction on 9/14/2023, the Car Fax states the mileage as being 256,458, which is a difference of 204 miles HIGHER than when I purchased it, and would impact the amount of miles I actually drove the vehicle myself before it broke down. Weird..... He also left the gas tank on empty for me when there's a gas station 500 yards away- what a guy.Unfortunately, in looking up their Google reviews, it seems that this is a common practice at CT Car Co. LLC, and many customers like myself have been inadvertently thrust into the same predicament; paying hard earned money or taking out a loan on a vehicle only to be stuck with repair bills immediately after purchase. These repairs often surmount the cost of the vehicle and leaves customers with an inoperable vehicle. Not only are customer's livelihoods and finances put in jeopardy because of this- more importantly- a customer's safety is compromised by the vehicles they sell. Although myself and others were told by CT Car Co. LLC that, "All our vehicles are safety checked," I find this to be a questionable statement at best, and a flat out lie at worst. I have reached out directly to one of the other recent customers affected and she was just as devastated as I am. She is a single mother of a young child, and I could not imagine having to deal with them in that situation. It seems they do not care whom they do this to, including MILITARY VETERANS. It pains me to think that eventually one day someone will lose their life after purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. In research of my options, I came across The PA Attorney General is suing a dealership for many of the same practices that CT Car Co. LLC seems to employ.I have now filed complaints with the CT Attorney General's Office, CT Department of Motor Vehicles, the BBB, and am in the process of acquiring legal representation in order to hold this dealer accountable and ensure that this does not happen to others. I was just looking for an affordable and reliable car, but this is what I got. I also do not appreciate their snarky responses to myself and others when they are called out.Picture is of my mechanic's findings.PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!Best of Luck!

I had to post a review after seeing how negative everyone is rating this place I purchased 2 vehicles from this place years ago 01 galant for about 1600 and 03 Altima I forgot price both cars lasted about 3 years without having to put any major work into them only tires shocks oil changes and one fuel pump the transmission went on the galant 3 years later probably part my fault of running on cold days without warming car and I believe the engine went on the Altima 3 years later as well and that was cuz my girl drove without any coolant in car I feel for the price for the vehicles i definitely got a great deal so thank you guys

This place had no customer service at all...the sales person acted like he didn't even want to sell us a car very dry and borderline rude,he wasn't friendly at all or cared about us as customers I told him I was interested in buying a vehicle and test drive,had to be jumped then he got upset we turned it off snapped at us to come back tomorrow and I drove over an hour to see n drive this car! The worst customer service I've ever encountered waste of time

Sheesh these guys are getting smoked! , but at he same time what do yall expect for those prices yall shoulda saved more and went somewhere else. It's not their fault you guys are limited to high millage cars the law is the law! Democrats always looking for freebies! smh buying a 3000$ car bringing it to a dealership thinking they're gonna get good news?

Went here to look for a car for my boyfriend's son. We found one that we wanted to test drive and was told that unless you're buying the car, you can't test drive it. Who in their right mind would purchase a used car with high mileage without driving it to see how it ran or sounded??? We had cash in hand, ready to purchase and walked away. Reading reviews now and it looks like we dodged a bullet. Would give this place 0 stars but it won't allow me to.

Highly advised! Stay Away! Drove from northeast Ohio, After calling to Verify A Car was all in good working condition. The Pics. Looked great. He said it pulled a little. Only to drive 8 Hours to see the car had been in decent accident and had Shotty Repairs done to it. WHAT A TOTAL Disaster Day! With the Car Market Totally Over Priced. I think I'll keep driving my p.o.s. than to give greedy Liars like this a DIME!

It wasn't as horrible as these remarks made it out to be when my friend and I visited. You have to pay for what you purchase. My friend and I had been looking at Nissan Rouges. One was present! We were too young to try it out for ourselves, so One of Mark's drivers was kind enough to bring us. I advise anyone searching for their first car to go here.P.S Mark is very Sweet!!

UPDATE SINCE THEIR RESPONSE: i just spoke with the east Windsor police and I have never been trespassed as I never threatened them nor returned after purchase day. I would absolutely never lock my child in a car on purpose. I got out of my car at a gas station and the car seized and locked less than 2 months after purchase. I called police and they immediately helped me. Show me the trespass paperwork from earlier this year then Nick? Because I can show the dozen or dodged calls, the recording and the falsified paperwork deemed illegal by a DMV employee and multiple police reports. I bought a new car within 4 months of buying the one from here so saying I drove it for six months?! A blatant lie and registration swap will prove that. When police came to help me with my trapped child due to your improper vehicle they informed me I was told illegal things by your company as long as you have a DMV appointment you can drive this car off the lot why did you let me drive a car with no proof of registration and tell me I was fine when I called back multiple times questioning it?! I never threatened your company I have the only conversation you actually answered me for, on video and the POLICE even accepted my report and never said i was trespassed because I never went back to that business. The DMV agent reported this company for their illegal ways and a state officer told me he was personally looking into it. To say im a bad parent and that I made bad decisions in life and even consider saying I m negligent or purposely doing illegal things is absolutely disgusting and now I ll be taking legal action for even attempting the slander you just did. I am a 100% law abiding legal citizen with zero marks on my record and not even so much as a car accident or ticket. I m a sole parent with a healthy happy boy and have had the same wonderful job for 5 years.They literally lied to the police and I have it on recording of them(Nick) admitting to lying, as they sold me an absolute lemon that then lit on fire within a few months while I was driving. It broke down due to a seized radiator and the brake line had a knick in it. The DMV declared their paperwork as falsified and the vehicle was later determined by multiple mechanics as unsafe to drive. They said ON RECORDING that it s not their problem and oh well once you leave the lot even if you break down down the street it s not our problem. The police even had to go there. They claimed the vehicle sometimes not starting was a safety feature . No. The car was faulty and my son got locked inside and we needed police to help us. Nick then proceeded to dodge my calls and hang up. Don t EVER go here. The DMV has been investigating them for months due to their lies and unprofessionalism and illegal activities.

They aren't gunna tell you that your dash is going to light up with every warning light it has despite "just putting a new catalytic converter" in it. Had to find out after an expensive dyno at the Subaru dealership. Only buy if you have a modicum of mechanic experience. You'll need it.

After reading the reviews, I was nervous about doing business here. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Nick, the salesperson was polite, helpful, and did not pressure me in any way. The selection of cars was plentiful. Some cars were obviously better than others. But, at the low prices they are selling them at....you just need to make sure to thoroughly inspect them before making a decision. The truck I bought passed MA inspection, and I've already driven it @2k miles with no issues. I am very happy with it. I would definitely do business with them again.

Don t ever buy a car from here they sold me a valvo as soon as I got it home it was leaking radiator fluid it Everywhere. They refuse to even look at it and said I did it. The radio didn t work and They refuse to give me my title right away took them over a week to give it to me. The sales man was rude when I tried to talk to him about the radiator. Horrible horrible horrible

Waited over 20 minutes in their parking lot and nobody came out. Most of their used cars were dirty and scratched up. Plus, all the cars are sold as is?? Customer is stuck with any and all Lemons.

I was in the car business for 35+ years and not easily impressed but Matt and Peter did a very professional and courteous job. I'm really happy with my A8L and deal I got. Would definitely recommend these guys!

Fun little used car dealership, just a half mile from my favorite Walmart. These guys specialize in lower cost cars. A great variety, and many for under $5k. Please realize some have small dings, others have high miles. This is not CarMax where the lowest priced cars start at triple. I bought a Chrysler minivan at CT Car Co. that ran for 5 years with no problems but a radiator replacement. Now getting a Ford Fusion.

DO NOT BUY THAT 1999 FORD MUSTANG V6 WITH 72k MILESCar was in a major major major accident. Completely and utterly slapped together. Tons of sealer and bondo and spray foam and Micky mouse home repairs. Completely unsafe to drive and structurly totaled. Carfax shows accident reported with air bags deployed. Tons of rust damage in trunk with tons of bondo on the frame rails. BEWARE SCAM DEALER

They would have got 5 stars if not for the poor customer service we received. The vehicle I purchased was great for the price; it got a few mechanical issues but for the price I got it at, I can t complain much. I m very happy with it after a month of driving around.

Do not buy from this place. We bought an as is used Ford Escape, with assurances that their mechanic had found it mechanically sound and the tires were at least 50%. The car had non working lights and electricals, clogged gas intake, mice had destroyed wires and the air filter, bad tires and a door that was duct taped on. It was not even road worthy, let alone mechanically sound. It broke down 4 times in the next 2 months, stranding my daughter on dangerous busy highways each time. They did not even honor their assurance saying merely...we fired the mechanic and you bought it as is. We have put thousands of more dollars in this car and it still is not trustworthy. The funny thing was that we discovered that we knew whose car it was, and its maintenance history. They had donated it to charity the year before. This damage happened after that donation, and should have been patently obvious upon any decent mechanical review. My bad for trusting the seller saying that it had been checked and was sound. Buyer really has to beware working with this place. I contacted the seller twice about this disaster of a car. Was told sorry, nothing we can do. You bought it as is, and not my fault if the mechanic didn't do a decent overview of the car. I have waited because I hate to post bad reviews, but my daughter could have been killed every time this car failed on her, including in the middle of the Tappanzee bridge. We paid $2500 and have put more than $5000 in repairs and costs, and still do not trust it to get anywhere safely.

As I m scrolling through the reviews for this place. I think it s so funny how someone is sitting there trying to defend themselves instead of actually fixing the cars they are trying to sell and making them safe for people to drive but no they rather sell unsafe cars that can cost a life and then defend themselves there s more to do to a car to fix it instead of as is and a safety check

I had bought a 2006 Volvo XC70 back on June 12 and has been great since I bought it, the paperwork fee was a bit high for being out of state but besides that great doing business with Nick at Ct Car Co

Not sure of the Quality of your cars. But you definitely have the right to defend your establishment. But if you truly believe in the quality your selling, then so waste your time responding. All your doing is pushing new potential customers away. And yes I'm in the service business. So I know how it can be. Good luck and stay safe.

Would give 0 stars if possible, dont waste your time. I originally talked to them through the offer up app and asked if they could provide any additional pictures of the car i was interested in and was told they would get back to me as soon as possible, which they never did. I called them 2 days later and told them i was coming from over 30 minutes away to come look at the car in person and when i arrived to look at the car, it was leaking both oil and coolant and the dealer told me that i couldnt even start it because the battery was stone dead and they would be getting a new one the next day. When i suggested that i go to get a battery myself to test out the car i was told very rudely that they had already ordered it and they were closing soon so it didnt make a difference. Very sketchy place dont bother going, the prices are low for a reason. Buddy i got there at 5:30 and called at 5:00 which I personally think is plenty of time to jump start a car when you close at 6 nobody asked for a test drive i just wanted to start the car to hear the garbage run. If somebody left a light on why would you need a whole new battery? Doesn t make sense and sounds like you re trying to justify your terrible work ethic by making things up and talking down to people who were smart enough not to fall for your scams.

Before I go and give my opinion the guy that helped Mr seem pretty chill and straight forward but i have since changed my mind.Wasn't going to write a review after I had to wait a few days longer for title I was promised within 48 hours but here I go. I figured you get what you pay for so I picked out a mercury millian that had less than 140,000 miles that was $4000 and seem good when it ran but when I went to get it inspected I got the red reject sticker mainly for the brakes and a hole lot of stuff that had to do with the tires and safety of car. Obviously I signed as is but he specifically said no wiggle room on price and made the car seem like it was a champ. Thank God we took it on a trailer home because it would have stayed on the highway. My suggestion if you decide to do business is to go with someone who knows cars and drive a lot further than we did! Good luck but that was money wasted! Go at your on risk!
