I was looking online for a used Toyota Tundra. While searching cargurus.com and cars.com, I saw a clean-looking Tundra listed at Better Buys Auto for a very reasonable price. I appreciated that the listing included a detailed Carfax report on the truck, and after reviewing it, I called and spoke with Dan. Dan was friendly on the phone and we set an appointment for me to see the truck. When I saw it in person, I was amazed at the condition and cleanliness of the truck. Dan let me take the truck for a test drive with my wife, and we decided to buy it. There was zero pressure from Dan to make a decision--he let us make up our minds. After we agreed to buy the truck, Dan ran it through the shop, and when he found out it needed rear brakes, he had new pads and rotors installed--at no additional charge. Compared to other trucks I had seen advertised, my truck was $1000-2000 less than Tundras that were comparable in year/mileage/equipment. We've had the truck for 2 months now and love it--I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Thanks Dan and Better Buys Auto!

I was looking for a car for my daughter and found one she liked at Better Buys Auto. Dan greeted us as we were walking around the lot. He is so friendly and knowledgeable about all the cars. I wanted to get her a safe and reliable vehicle at a great price. Dan helped us find the perfect vehicle for her, a beautiful Acura Rdx. He was so patient with us and explained how all the cars are fully serviced and detailed, they all look brand new. There are so many nice vehicles on his lot we had a hard time making a decision. I can t thank Dan enough for all his help in purchasing her first vehicle we will definitely be back when my son or myself need a car. Thanks Dan for going above and beyond in customer service and having a lot of beautiful vehicles.

My dad was interested in an suv they had so we drove down to look at that and a car on their lot. A tree totaled his vehicle so we needed a new one decently quickly. The girl that works in the office was super nice and as helpful as she could be. Dan (who I m assuming is an owner I don t really know could just be a sales guy) was less than personable to put it nicely. He was very short on the phone with us and said he wouldn t send a car through the shop to tell us if something was wrong with it or not unless we were going to buy it ?? That he could just save the money to send it through the shop and sell it to another dealer instead. So we left but my dad really liked it despite how Mr. Dan handled everything, so my fianc� called a couple days later again and left a voicemail on Dans cell phone saying we were very interested and we d like to talk about it. Well no call back so I guess he didn t want to sell it that badly (it s still on his lot as I type this). I found another one almost identical for the same price with the same miles right down the road at another dealership and they were wonderful to work with! Guess what they also ran it through the shop for us (amazing I know). Because Mr. Dan couldn t be bothered he lost out on a cash sale that day. I would give zero stars if I could. Don t go there unless you would like to be treated like you re money doesn t matter because obviously it doesn t.

Dan, Barry, and staff were kind and efficient. I ve been driving my new (used) car for 3 weeks and she handles like a dream. I could not have imagined I d find a car in such great condition at the price I purchased it! Thanks guys!

I had a great experience with Dan. I just bought a terrific car for my son, and was impressed with his selection and the condition of his vehicles. He goes through his cars very thoroughly and has a great mechanic who takes care of any issues so they're CLEAN before he puts them on the lot. He was fair, honest, and knowledgeable. He took a lot of time with us, answered all of our questions, and had a lot of very helpful suggestions on car maintenance and what to expect from the vehicle. My son thought he was a great guy and enjoyed the entire experience, but the best part was that he got a great car at a very fair price. I'm going back for myself . I'd highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pre-owned vehicle.

My experience at Better Buys Auto was straight forward and painless. I got a very well maintained car for a great price and they even took my trade in. The car fax for my vehicle was available for free which helped me make a confident decision. The owner Dan has nothing to hide with a no BS attitude. He handled all the registration, title transfer and insurance for me at DMV. Better Buys Auto is a great place to find a nice used car in your budget. All the cars on the lot looked immaculate and the majority of them were priced under $10k.

I have been purchasing pre-owned cars for personal use since 1976. This dealership is likely the best I've ever experienced. If you want quality, meticulously selected inventory, this is the place to go. Dan is a no nonsense, stand up guy. Their stock is not ridiculously marked up, so if you want a fair price and no pressure, check them out.

Better Buys has the cleanest used cars on the entire route 5 strip. (and there are a LOT of dealers...) I ended up not making a purchase there. Anyway, if you are looking for a used car and you are picky, like myself, check these guys out. (Just do yourself a favor and call to make an appointment first.)

Before my 18 yo son( we came from Upstate NY) bought his VW GTI from Dan, we went to 9 different car dealers all over the Northeast area, from RI to NJ, and all I can say is, Dan is top notch, a real standup guy! He really helped my son with paperwork, treated him with utmost respect, and he couldn't be any happier! Thank you, Dan, L loves his "baby"

Giving one star only because I can't give zero. Dan was the absolute worst salesman I've ever met. Our test drive yesterday was like a huge inconvenience to him. He hardly talked other than to give us directions where to go. Looked at my hand like it was poison when I introduced myself to him and shook his hand. Then after we got back from the test drive we poked around looking at the car some more and he flew into the office and never came back out to see if we had any questions. So we went in to return the key and told him we were interested in buying it and honest to God he looked me head to toe and have a look of disapproval and said "yeah? What's your credit score?" So I told him the last time I had it run in July it was 710. He's like, "well what is it now?" I didn't know cuz we just paid off a bunch of bills. Then he looked at our old van and was like, "well you're not gonna get anything for THAT... You're going to have to put a big chunk of cash down." So I said we were looking to finance with zero down. He just chuckled and said,"well I only work with the top lenders and they're not going to approve you." I explained to him that we've gone to a couple other dealerships and they had said that they would have no problem getting us approved for the loan and his response was to tell me that I should consider going back to one of them then.!!!! So I did. We pick up our new car on Monday. F that guy.I've heard that Kevin is wonderful, but we unfortunately did not get a chance to deal with him. They could've had an easy sale.

Dan is great at his profession, incredibly knowledgeable and a hard working stand up guy. He is honest and does all he can to make it happen. Couldn't ask for an easier transition into a gorgeous used vehicle. That lot shines with cleanliness, awesome cars and professionalism. I didn't know which one to pick, they were all so impressive.

Last October we drove down to look and see what he had. I fell in love with a Mercury Mariner. Dan took my Escape in for trade and I drove out very happy. It is now June. And other than regular oil change and one replaced blinker light, I have not had one mishap with this car. We are so confident in this dealer we are now looking for another vehicle.

Honestly, just awful. From the second I walked in the salesman just assumed how my bank was treating me based off my age and without any further knowledge processed to tell me that we cannot do business. After a short call to my bank (who already approved me for an auto laon) they clarified that he cannot and should not speak on their behalf because he is completely wrong and that the loan would cover the car and business could be done. After this he became cold and short. Only letting me test drive one car and then he told me he doesn't have to test drive anymore. So I picked a car out and told me that they were closing so I had to come back another day. Their hours had them being open for another hour and a half. What kind of salesman shoves a paying customer out the door ? Some kind of idiot, drove 6min up the road picked out a car and drove off the lot with it in the same day this salesmen told me my bank would not do this based off his experience with my bank. He has little people skills, rude, his only experience with people under 30 is what he sees off of judge Judy. I strongly recommend going to ANY OTHER used car dealers in the area there's a bunch and I'm sure all better than this train wreck.

As the earlier person stated, they are strictly a wholesale dealer so unless you are a dealer or know one that can go in with you, you're not buying any vehicle from them. They do have signs on all their doors stating they do NOT sell to the public and although I'm surprised to hear you were treated like that because I know both the owners personally, no doubts she was non-selective in her tone due to the fact there are signs on the doors.That being said, they are honestly wonderful people and any vehicle that goes out that door is safe, clean and not overpriced.So if you want to buy anything from them, bring a dealer with you and I know you won't be disappointed.

So we WERE interested in buying a car that these yahoos had, my husband stopped in to look at the car today and apparently the owner was a real jerk. Car had damage to it (a Clean Carfax means nothing by the way, a lot of accidents don't make it to the Carfax at all). Owner refused to believe it had damage and was argumentative. FYI we had stopped over the weekend and ran a paint gauge over it, definite damage, plus my husband does car insurance inspections for a living and knows his stuff. Blew a sale, actually possibly two.

Asked about a truck that was advertised as a timing chain in the add they hilightes that... ANY TUNDRA is a timing belt glad they are doing. Imagine if I wasn t trying to trade my 14 tundra for an older model because all it sees is dump runs. Zero knowledge and listed faulted I formation of said vehicularTo me it s like buying an ice cream cone from dry cleaners,it will melt and there is no refund

We bought a used mini van and everything was as promised. Honest and fair. No games or gimmicks. I knocked one star off only because I did have to go back and forth a couple times for paperwork purposes. I would recommend this place to anyone looking at used vehicles.

I checked out a sub there and found the rear differential was leaking and no heat. The young dealer was a punk and laughed that it was a used car and they only do miner work on the vehicles . I'm a deisle mechanic and if this is acceptable way to sell cars I wouldn't buy one from there for sure

The guy said the car is "priced to sell, I've got someone coming in to look at it later and they couldn't believe how cheap it was on the phone so i'm not going to come down on the price because its going be sold this afternoon" very rude. ONE MONTH LATER, the car is still for sale on the website. ha

Cars always clean. Alot of the cars have already been serviced which is shown in the windshield which is nice thinking you aren't going to have to spend a fortune after purchasing
