WORST EXPERIENCE, EVER!!! Buyers BEWARE!After being quoted at $1500 to install a rebuilt engine. 10 Months later the bill came to about $3000. I then proceeded to stall and get stuck with driving the car a few times a week. Even driving out of the shop and getting to the first stop light the Jeep stalled and wouldn't start again!! I paid to pick up the Jeep and left with no Jeep! After bringing it back and forth to Bill for months! to get it fixed and leaving the car with him the last time for 2 months. He gives me the car back with the idle at 2500 cold start and 1500 reg idle. Which could have blown a piston! After still having problem after problem and Bill obviously having not a clue what hes doing. I began to work on the car myself.I called a technician at Edelbrock and we worked on the car over the phone together. I put the carburetor back to factory settings, which the idle and air fuel mixtures, floats were all not even close to where they should have been. After fixing all that myself I noticed a small fuel hose leak! Thanks Bill for using all the OLD hoses and not replacing any of the cheap parts and hoses that also added to my car breaking down. By the way Gas and a hot engine DO NOT MIX WELL!Also, the first time I received the jeep back there was a very loud noise coming from the belts, I went through a bran new belt in the first month. Bill claimed this would be normal. I then noticed that the radiator hose he used was cheap and collapsed in the middle starving my engine of anti freeze and ultimately the belt housing! There are wires and hoses laying all over my engine. You think after installing an engine you would install fresh hoses and wires in and route them around the engine so they dont dry out and crack.This guy calls himself a Jeep specialist. Jeep engines are so basic anybody with a set of tools and a brain can do it themselves. And these parts manufactures have GREAT customer service. If you want to restore your old jeep. DO NOT bring it to this guy. He fixes the cheapest way, Does awful work and will charge you and arm and leg for his OWN MISTAKES!Update 5/12: After a full year I still find negligence in the job that was done. Apparently Bill and his team forgot to tighten the headers to the engine so there was an exhaust leak, So badly that I could take the bolts out by hand. There is no excuse to the terrible job that was done. It amazes me that somebody who works on old jeeps doesn't even know how to correctly configure a carburetor. I gave Bill numerous times to give me my car back in working order and he failed every time. This guy is a total fraudster!

SVE Performance is the Best and Only place I bring my jeep. Bill did an incredible job rebuilding my 1985 CJ7 from the frame up. His knowledge and expertise never fails. I have taken my jeep other places in the past and always return to have Bill repair less than satisfactory jobs done by others. SVE performance is the most professional, reliable and fair place around. I have also been advised by other shops to upgrade in areas that would be more beneficial to them than to me and my jeep..Bill shoots straight and always advises me to stick with what is safe, practical, and cost effective for me..not SVE. I am more than satisfied and will return for years to come. Me and my CJ love SVE.

Bill was most helpful in diagnosing and fixing a carb problem that I had withmy 1987 jeep wrangler. Was done very quickly and at a fair price. I will takemy truck there for service in the future
