Daddio's came to jump my battery after my insurance company first sent out another company who was rude and did not complete the job. I didn't get a chance to get the man's name, but he was so kind and courteous and was able to get my battery charged and my car started in less then a minute. I would highly recommend them and will request them if I ever need a jump and would definitely try them when I need my car repaired.

Daddio s saved the day! I was having a ton of trouble getting someone local to come out and assist with a tricky tire change in Northwest CT. Daddio s was in the area and picked up the job. Super kind, super fast, super effective! I d use them any day! Thank you Daddio!!!I ll add that I see some negative reviews here based on people s experience with Daddio s via roadside assistance. It s roadside that we should all be frustrated with! I had nightmare of a time with roadside, but very grateful to have (finally!!) been connected with Daddio s.

They were supposed to tow my car at 10 am. They didn't tow it till 3:30 pm. My car was a mile away. I called and the driver said he would be there. I called around 11 am, but he still didn't pick it up, he said he had to go pick up another car. He would pick it up in an hour. I called again an hour and a half later. He didn't pick up the car. If he did it on time he would of have a $50.00 tip. I guess they don't believe in good customer service. Very sad.

I had a Sprinter Van RV that would not start. I had another company come out and try to tow it and they sent three different trucks with different teams and could not tow it or start it. Next day I had Daddio's come out and he started it in about 5 min. Just a dead battery. He clearly was also prepared to tow it if that was needed. He was on time, knowledgeable, and efficient as well as just an all around nice guy. I would use him again for sure. Daddio's is great! Highly recommended.Service: Electrical

Avoid! They were dispatched by roadside assistance. Took 100 mins to arrive. When the arrived they tried to tow my car to their shop first instead of to my requested tow location. They stated it was because the boom on their tow truck needed to be fixed. But still stated it was safe to tow to their shop and then they will tow to our pre arranged destination: The Dealership. They insisted on taking my keys. When I said I didn t feel comfortable leaving my car out of site because I could not ride with them or follow them with an Uber to their shop they stated when you leave your car at the Dealership, it s out of site. And you can take a picture of the contents of your car if we steal anything and they have insurance to cover. After trying to consult the road side assistance they said I was wasting their time and they would leave now unless I agree to their terms so they left and left the tow dispatch incomplete.

If I could give this place a ZERO (0) star I would.Not only did they screwed up my brother s steering wheel up by taking it apart completely, cutting up wires that they did not have to cut but left the steering wheel system dismantled in pieces on the floor and NOT finishing part of the job but charged over $1,400 for labor and parts for the steering column that he did not used. He further demanded to be paid in CASH . To prevent further damage to the car by the incompetence of this garage, a tow company was called and car towed to our home. The staff are rude, unprofessional and unethical.Beware of this place and save yourself from the aggravation.Once again folks save yourself the aggravation by going to this place. Look at the rest of all the other reviews by others.It may not have been my car per your comment but I KNOW everything that went on.

I was directed to this company by my roadside assistance. They were amazing. Usually when you need a tow, you get no communication with the company. Daddio s was accessible, went out of their way to help accommodate my time frame and they were very friendly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them! Thank you Daddio s!Service: Tires

My roadside assistance dispatched this company.. they took a longer than the ETA, when I called to ask how much longer, tried to charge me $68 out of pocket fee when my insurance told me it would be $16, and wasn t going allow me to ride with the tow truck. The man who answered was extremely rude, told me it would be even longer wait. Actually hung up in my face & no one ever came! Mind you it s November, cold as hell outside !! I wouldn t recommend them to anyone!

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The owner Scott and his wife Michelle are vultures. They have this attitude like they re doing you a favor and the work they perform is terrible. They did front brakes on my crv and 3 miles after picking it up my front wheel came off. THEN they wanted to charge me tow it back to them because I drove it off their property fine it was 3 MILES!!!! There s plenty of other places to have vehicle work done in the area. Avoid these people.Service: Auto glass replacement

The fellow I spoke with on the phone was polite and helpful. The driver who picked up my vehicle was freindly and helpful. Getting towed is stressful, but I enjoyed talking to the driver and it everything was quite pleasant. While I hope I don't have to get towed again for a bit, I would happily work with this company and the team who took care of me in the future.

This guy is great. It was after hours and was having a serious issue with my car. He let me bring it right down right away to have it checked out to confirm if it was safe or not to be driving. The mechanic checked it and my car actually had no oil in it (even tho I had just gotten oil change!). They only had me pay for the oil they put in and didn't charge me for the service. Would def go here again, I greatly appreciated their service.

The driver seemed nice initially but when we were about a half mile from my home, he singled to turn and go a longer direction. When I told him that he can keep going straight and it's faster, he became rude and told me, "I can go any way I want!"Normally, I would've told him to go screw himself but he had my car on his hitch and I didn't need the extra aggravation. He was rude and doesn't know how to speak to people. On top of that, he had 2 small dogs in his truck that were on top of he and I while he drove. I don't need to smell like dog heading into work. It wasn't a free tow. His company got paid to drive me 4 miles. He could've demonstrated better customer service. It was almost like I inconvenienced him. If he hates his job, get a new one and don't take it out on customers.

Great work done here. Rebuilt Trans and replaced transfer case on my tahoe. Awesome pricing and Scott is a nice guy. Would definitely recommend them.

AVOID!! Horrible customer service, extremely rude, and left us and our dead car, because we wouldn t pay them an extra $35 even though our insurance company was paying for it all. We went through our insurance company to get a tow to a car repair when it died on us. When they came, we decided to change the location of the drop off that was still within our covered area. The man insisted we take it to his shop the whole time, which the insurance company said they should NEVER do! They wouldn t change the drop off location (even though he hadn t even hooked the car up yet) unless we paid $35 out of pocket, but I guess it would have been free to change the location to his shop.....? Anyways, the guy just told us to call AAA and he left. We have never experienced anything like it. Horrible character and just trying to rip you off. AVOID!!

If your insurance company called this place for you for towing, be prepared to wait three hours. Half an hour means three hours. It did for me, and clearly it did for other reviewers. However, the tow truck driver was a nice guy at least.

Daddio's is the place to go. Every repair is done right if you need a tow they are on point. I love the owners of this place!!! They care about your vehicle and treat their customers like family. Very unprofessional and very questionable business tactics.We called for towing using an unrelated service. The driver was late and convinced us to take our car to Daddio's Garage by promising that his boss was a "master at transmission work." This was unprofessional, considering the car was supposed to go to their competitor, Torello's just down the street. Despite our better judgment, we allowed the car to be towed to Daddio's Garage. The work we asked for was completed on time.The issue, however, was that the owner filled the vehicle with expensive coolant without consent. I received a phone call where he said "Full disclosure, I put $20 worth of coolant in your car." Full disclosure or not, he did this without consent. When we arrived to pay for the work, I disputed the coolant charges. He responded by refusing to knock off the charges and instead grabbed the keys and started yelling to prep the bay so he could "drain the car." Rather than give him an opportunity to damage the car in retaliation for this small issue, we paid for the coolant and the other work.$20 isn't the end of the world. It's really not even worth writing a review over. The childish antics, the intimidating atmosphere (the owner is very large and has a pit bull in the office), and doing work that hasn't been consented to is the issue. That's bad business.I would have paid for the cost of the coolant. But that option was not presented. It was either (1) drain the car entirely of coolant and waste a full hour so the owner could win that argument, or (2) pay for the work and go home. We chose the latter and we won't ever be returning to Daddio's.Take your car somewhere else.

Excellent customer service! Called when he was outside, gave me the run down on what to expect/what would happen next. Very nice and friendly and also honest! My car was towed today and yesterday and both times Daddio s was who provided me the services. He also helped my fianc� out a lot as well! I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much for the services.

After getting stuck on the highway, I called my insurance company at 7pm for a tow and was told the tow would be there by 8:43pm. The tow truck arrived at 12:10am. I ve called Liberty Mutual and advised they should pick a company that responds and follows up quicker. Once the guy arrived he was unprofessional. Not surprised they have a low rating.

Never call them if you need a two. They said a two hour wait. I waited the two hours for them to text it ll be another 60 mins. If you re trying to get your car towed in a timely fashion. This isn t the place to use!!!

This company was recommended to me through road side assistance (progressive). They gave me a 90 minute window and dis not show up until 3 hours later. They also stole all of my change out of my car. Classless and just plain ole rude!! I would have given them no stars but i had to select something in order to write this review.

I was traveling to Madison for the start of my vacation and my car broke down near their shop due to a gas leak. Called my insurance and they dispatched Daddio's to tow my car. The tow guy came quickly and towed it to their shop. They repaired my car the next day. Come to find out the shop my car was in last did not replace the fuel filter correctly which caused this debacle. The owner was very professional and explained in detail how they fixed the problem. Great customer service and the owner and his wife are very pleasant to deal with.

Guy drove like a bat out of hell while towing my item. Was 1 1/2 hours late, Did the BARE minimum and then tried to upcharge me right at the end ( said dispatch gave me the wrong price) Price was discussed thoroughly before transport. There were no changes, problems, or additional services needed still he demanded an additional $20.

Towing service was delayed by over 3 hours, did not call to inform, delayed repeatedly, did not call even when they said they re going to call right back. When they did come, they were actually quite helpful. Could definitely work a lot on their interactions.

Was told by our insurance company that my husband should expect to wait an hour on the side of 91...Daddio's driver called, came within about 10 minutes and helped him out. Very prompt, efficient, and courteous. Plus, he explained a cost efficient way for my husband to get his repair done himself. Very impressed.

If zero stars were an option, I d even hesitate to give them that many. Not only do they have the absolute worst customer service, but after using their towing service, they lied multiple times about when someone would be available to get my car. Do yourselves a favor and call a legitimate towing company, not this group of incompetent clowns.

I purchased a Suburban from Scott at Daddio's and it was a great experience. He was very honest and straight forward with me telling me all the known details about the truck and he gave me a very fair price. HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH!!!! My mom car was towed from my sisters house to her house. The driver/owner was very disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude! He dropped the car off left the keys in the car and kept moving. I called to ask him why he did handle her tow in such manor. His response was there was no money exchanged (Insurance tow) and that the keys are in the car!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE!!!

Could not have asked for quicker or better service when my daughter broke down with my car in New Haven and had to be towed to Bridgeport. Daddios were there within 15 minutes of the call to Urgent.ly when normally you have to wait over an hour or more for any other towing service including AAA. The service provider I have is Urgent.ly and I can't say anything but great things about them as well.
