Awesome place, great customer service. Christian changed my battery for me and he was very efficient and polite. The team had me with a new battery replaced in under 15 minutes!

Store employee Manny was very helpful! I had a headlight bulb out on my car and he came out to the parking lot, pulled out the bad bulb, found the right one and put it back in for me. Never expected such good service!

Alex was a tremendous help my girl broke down with a flat tire by a nearby gas station and when she went into the store for help he promptly assisted her and even came outside to help her change the tire ......she couldn't be more grateful for all his help and so am I seeing that I was at work and couldn't leave to help her...... Alex went above and beyond to make sure she got the tire on safe and securely for her ride home ..... Just wanted to give a shout out to Alex for taking care of my girl and making sure she was safe ....

Daniel is a great employee. Give that man a raise. I was just basically in the store browsing when he asked me if I needed any help. I honestly wasn't there for anything specific but a car question I did have popped into my head so I asked him. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Sent me in the right direction and gave me more than just the answer I needed. All while carrying a box that he was moving to the back. Things like this make me a repeat customer. Thanks Daniel

The store manager named Christian impressed me. He was polite, the store seemed to be running smoothly and I was in and out of there with my problem resolved in less than 10 minutes. A true professional. Store seems to be in good hands

No accessibility no handicap. NO RAMP. No handicap parking.Very upset. I'm experiencing problems moving around here up in New Haven.Very frustrating.

Honestly this afternoon had one of the best experience ever !! I felt like an actual person and not just a number. EJ and his manager helped me out tremendously in exchanging an item and actually showed that they cared. Most times you go to the stores and if it s not a sale they don t care ! Well not today all I also got were some windshield wipers and still they did everything to help me ! That s how you gain loyal customers

Went there to have my battery replaced today Saturday, the young man who is doing it in the freezing cold weather, was having a hard time because the bracket was actually broken, from the manager and everyone who worked there they were all very willing to help me with my problem, and they were able to make it for my bracket worked !! very friendly staff and an awesome manager! I drive 20 minutes to get there and they make it worth the ride, I have a parts store two minutes from my house but they always make you feel like you shouldn t be there because you re not a mechanic . AutoZone is always willing to help you, I greatly appreciate all the staff at AutoZone in East Haven, 10 stars!!!

I needed a new battery so I went to Autozone where Fabio tested my battery first & gave me the option to have it charge there and come back for it. I really liked that he wasn t trying to push a sale on me so I decided to just get the new battery. He went above and beyond to help me. He Went over my options and then installed it for me as quickly as he could but making sure everything was as tight as he could make it. Then, my doors would not unlock so the manager came out to my car (I think his name was Zachary) and he figured out how to unlock the door when the remote wouldn t work. You could tell they really wanted to help. I highly recommend this Autozone.

Went here for a new pair of headlights and was helped out by 2 wonderful gentleman named Fabio and Jack who took the time to help me install them with no extra charge! Been 4 months and the headlights are still going strong!!

Accidentally purchased the incorrect item from the website. Upon return to the store within 24 hours... I was told that i had to get in touch with the customer service number to initiate return shipping.... However, it was shipped from this exact location with free home delivery! I was also told that I cannot return this item because it was an electronic (original package, unopened, unused). This car battery should have been refunded and given a proper replacement for the defective battery that i also brought with me.I spent over 35 minutes dealing with the "manager" (person who was not at the store) and his assistant on duty. When i finally called customer service while waiting at the counter, the rep on the phone called the store and spoke to the gentleman in front of me.... Then switch lines back to me and said she spoke with the manager. There were so many wrong doings regarding policy, unable to return an item that was NOT listed in the "non-returnable" category.On a separate note, for the defective battery replacement I was charged 21$. It is supposed to be a free replacement for the duration of the warranty if the battery fails the testing (this was another 30+ min wasted... It was visually defective).Please save your time and money. Buy your parts from somewhere else.Asked for the corporate address to write a formal letter regarding these issues and was told that letter would go right back to the representative on the phone. Im sure the major stakeholders and interested parties who have more than just a minor investment in this location and business would NOT appreciate experiencing this for themselves. This is not logical customer service. Again, I wasn't looking to pull the wool over their eyes, but be refunded for a product that was listed as returnable.Either update your "fly by the seat of your pants" return policy, or make up your minds and let everyone know that you choose to do what you desire in the store and overrule corporate customer service. Best or luck, you wont get another buck.

Most of the staff is very unhelpful. Came a few weekends ago. one of the managers Caroline, is very slow and lacks customer service skills. The only ones that seemed to be any help were the 2 young upbeat red shirts up front with her juggling multiple customers. Will be going too foxon blvd from now on

Would give negative stars of i could! This east haven location is terrible, they know nothing and nor do they care about the hassle they put you through when they give you wrong and faulty parts!!!. I came in yesterday to buy a radiator for my car. My only transportation broke down. Had to find a ride to the store. Picked up a radiator. Spent 2 hours sweating installing it just to find out that it leaked as soon as I filled it! Now imagine not having transportation to get back to the store to return the junk part they sold me! THEN I find out that they gave me a radiator that was 118 when all other stores I called was 150. So now not only is my time and energy wasted and money spent on coolant as well but now I have to take the radiator back out and bring it back just to pay MORE for another. And this isn't the first time I've had an issue with this location in east haven either. They don't care. They don't know anything about vehicles. They have no sympathy. And everything autozone sells is total JUNK FROM CHINA.

Rich T. The big guy he use to work in front but now does commercial I think...he is always helpful and has worked here forever. He always answers my questions... excellent customer service. Why I send everyone here for auto parts. He actually cares about your car and can answer mechanical questions no one else can. I have been a loyal customer for years.

Liked their prices but no costumer service skill most of the employees only person that has knowledge of what his job is about is Jack excellent costumer service rep. Thanks Jack for your help I appreciate it.

Brian the commercial manager goes above and beyond to find parts for our shop that s right down the street. I highly recommend going here if you re a commercial account for your parts.

I would not recommend this particular auto zone to anyone. Poor service and definitely under staffed. I stood at the cash register for about 10 minutes and finally left with out the parts I needed, thumbs down

Way too long a wait to check out , I didn't need them to look anything up just ring me out for $5.30 of screws . Three people in the back , two upfront who were busy and no help .

Service was very bad. The way they act to customers is bad too. Didn t try to help. The old women Act like boring to customers all the time. I m not gonna cone back to this location.

They seem to always have the parts I need in stock and they're prices are fair. They usually have three price points for most parts as well. Helpful staff.

I like AutoZone. They have a lot of free services like battery charging or alternator checks. Their prices r good & there open late.
