Great service! After I replaced the battery in my car, the idle was so low it would stall. I brought my car in and didn't have an appointment so I was sure I would have to leave it with them overnight. After a few hours it was done, very reasonable price too. Car runs great again. Thank you guys!

In our family s opinion Alfanos s Auto Repair in East Haven is the most professional, experienced, and fair priced auto repair center bar none!!! Friendly and knowledgeable customer care is their trademark!!! Highly recommend! Thank you Bob for all you ve done for all our family!

Best shop I've ever used in large part to Bob Jr.'s tremendous work. What do I look for in a mechanic? Competency, honesty, and transparency. These characteristics are the foundation of Alfano's and Jr. represents them to a tee. Great character. The work I need done is performed reliably and affordably every time. They always go above and beyond. Would recommend this shop to anybody who desires quality work at a reasonable cost.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my car here for several years, and they have been always been honest, friendly, and professional, and they have never overcharged. They are extremely helpful and go above and beyond for their customers. I trust them anytime there is an issue with my car, as well as for routine maintenance. I've been going to these guys ever since somebody told me about them a number of years ago. Down to earth, nice guys. Honest. Won't try to upsell you like others might. Just do what needs to be done. You're VERY unlikely to beat their prices. Indeed, for all the usual reasons people use to make a decision on which car mechanic to go to...these guys pretty much check off all the boxes.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been here several times my family has been coming here for years. They are honest and they do not make up issues with your vehicle for more money, straight and too the point! Today before they opened my car wouldn't start. So I had it towed here I left a message. It was diagnosed and fixed the same day for great price. I highly recommend Alfano's Auto Repair!

Bob Jr. is the Best. Always gives accurate diagnosis. Never tries to upsell us on things that aren t needed. I ve taken my vehicle to other places when Alfanos was booked out 1-2 days. I payed 3-4x what they would ve charged me.I ve sent all my family to Alfanos because it sthe only place I ve found to get quality work at affordable rates.They are busy but in my experience it s worth the wait unless you have unlimited funds

Amazing service and timeI m new to the area and took the first recommendation from a guy in a parking lot when my Tundra wouldn t start with a jump. He said that Alfanos would be close, and the best service I could get in the area. Glad I went with his advice. Had the truck towed to Alfanos, they had my truck running a day. Great work, great people.

I went there on a recommendation of a friend. I have to tell you, I was NOT disappointed. They diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in less than 2 hours. And the price, could not be more fair. I wish I could tell you how wonderful they are. But , you have to experience for yourself. Highly recommend them. They are now ,my go to people.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They were great! Brought my car in, but they weren't able to fix bc of a dealer design. But they made sure it was safe to drive back home. Only a 4 b/c waiting area could use some sprucing

These guys are amazing. Best mechanics in the area in my opinion. Plus they re all really cool and great at explaining what you do or do not need. Everyone is totally honest and you never get up sold. Honest mechanic and fair prices. I have been bringing my cars there for over ten years. It's not the flashiest shop in town but they take good care of their customers. I highly recommend them!

The most honest and dependable mechanic I have ever met! Another mechanic wanted to charge my niece $1200 for a problem that didn't even exist. Alfano's turned the key and the car started!!No starter or fuel pump needed to replaced!

My family and I have been going here for years!. If you are look for good, honest mechanics without the abeyance this is the place!! I bring both my cars here my Corvette and my Subaru! If you are not coming here you are paying too much for less!

They only do regular engines and no electrical, but they're friendly and competent and pricing is reasonable. Most of all, they were recommended to me because of honesty which is not always easy to find in mechanic shops.
