My 2007 Prius was in desperate need of a makeover. Peeling paint in multiple places, rust on the roof, and an overall lack of shine, I decided to bring her in to Maaco. They were great to work with. Friendly and helpful with good pricing. I decided to change the color from white to a nice dark green. They did a wonderful job and it feels like I got a new car. I ve already gotten compliments on the color and asked if I ve gotten a new car. I recommend Maaco in Derby.

I have an mgb classic and wanted a decent paint job. Spoke with the staff and we agreed to completely sand the car to bare metal, custom prime and paint. We finished the job at 60% of the cost of other quotes and it came out fantastic.I also had a 2009 Camry repainted after a minor accident and they painted the whole car for the price quoted by others for the bumper alone. The car looks like it came out of the showroom.Then i recommended them to a friend for minor repair to his mgb and they did the job fixing certain rust spots as well for the insurance quote.I fully recommend that you at least speak with them to determine the best approach them for your project needs.

My 2007 Honda Accord was brought in last week for a paint job by MAACO in Derby. My car was originally Red - after many years of abuse (originally a track car!!) - it was time for an overhaul. I decided to paint the car black to save money - and I also thought it would look awesome.I worked extensively with Susan who was absolutely awesome. Incredibly attentive to any questions I had. Sent videos of the car being sanded, let me know if the technicans ran into any rust problems/things they hadn t called for.Let s talk results: For about 2k~ they returned my car looking like it had rolled straight out of the production line. It looks good, let the pictures speak for themselves below.I did notice ONE small issue. An uh-oh , but minor. a small section by the grill that was not painted. The size is smaller than a penny. small enough to where a single drop from my paint pen covered it up.I m willing to guess while masking off the grill, the tape may have been applied too far. For the time being, I ve just basically applied touch up paint to the small dot. Hopefully it will hold up okay.So - I m beyond happy with the job these guys did. Pretty competitive pricing, great turnaround (3 days!!)the question is, will the paint hold up?Only time will tell - I ll update this review should anything change, but right now the car looks great!

Got my wing painted. Turns out my paint is less faded than I thought! Nearly a perfect match. Got quoted a pretty good price to completely prep and paint the whole car, too. Quick work and Suzanne was very nice!

Outstanding service! Suzy is very professional and went above and beyond walking me through the entire process of painting my car and gave me an excellent price! Brain who painted it was very throughout and the finish came out phenomenal! I would rate this location 10/10 but google only allows 5 stars. Very happy with the amazing and fair service. Maaco of Derby painted, fixed the rust and color changed my 2001 Honda crv to Nardo Gray! People use to ask to buy it even before the paint job when the paint was delaminated but now they stop to take photos of it! Go audi Nardo Gray and change your emblems to black and you will have so many people just staring at your vehicle!

We have a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible that we love and wanted to keep. But 17 years of dings, scratches and faded paint made us wonder. We shopped several places for painting services and decided on Maaco. Not only did they prep the body well, but we also completely changed the color. It looks magnificent. My 2000 Chevy S-10 was in need of a paint job and rust repairs. Low milage and runs great so I decided to clean it up. Went to the Maaco at 208 Seymour Ave in Derby, Ct.06418. Stopped in with no appointment and they took me right away. In about 20 minutes they gave me a full written estimate. I decided to do it and they even gave me and my wife a ride home. They explained everything in layman's terms and made suggestions on money saving tips. They came in under my budget too!! Had my truck back in a little over a week. Looks brand new!!! Thanks to Susie in the Customer Service department, she went out of her way to make my wife and I feel comfortable. George, the owner gave us a ride home too. They even cleaned the interior and tires. I just need a little more repair and touch up I am going to do myself and she will look like the day I bought her. I suggest going there for any car or truck painting. A very pleasant and well-run shop. Very clean and comfortable. Great location too.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Maaco of Derby brought new life to our old Camry! We had the two step finish done and it came out glossy and bright with no runs or sags. Suzi was very helpful and the staff was friendly and professional! We were so happy that we had bodywork done on our XG350 as well! Thanks everyone!

My experience with Maaco and their customer service was amazing. Suzanne was extremely knowledgeable and I could not have asked for a more affordable estimate and final payment. I also absolutely love the workmanship and highly recommend their services to anyone needing body work or car painting.

work that the shop did was great. but I left my truck there while on vacation for five days and I don't think it was worked on while I was gone. I get home Monday and call and I was able to get truck until Wednesday night. I felt this was a long time to have be working on it. I think it sat for a few days. I left it before a five day vacation in hope it would be done and set up drop of time two weeks prior. the schedule should have been clear. other than that the office staff was great sending progress pictures and the shop does good work. just double check your appointment and work times

I just had my 1955 Chevy two-door sedan painted at the Maaco in Derby Connecticut. My paint job came out beautiful. All my neighbors stop by and say the car looks fantastic. The people were professional, friendly, and courteous. I enjoyed working with them. This is my third vehicle that they have painted with positive results every time.

Everything went fine. Choices were offered and my choice was accepted without any problem! They were very accommodating for budget needs. Suzanne was great to work with. I feel like I made a new friend. She kept me informed every step of the process. Oh and the car looks great too!!! Very happy!

Totally changed the appearance of my car. Went on vacation for a week after dropping car off and choosing the color I wanted, came back and it was done! They did amazing work on the paint and dent and rust repairs. 11/10 would recommend to anyone, can do all sorts of paint jobs varying in price and are very reasonable. I was looking for an affordable paint job for my Ford F150 and I went to Maaco Derby. Rob and his crew couldn't have been nicer. He explained the process told me what they were going to do and then he told me the price. It was a very good price. I dropped off my truck and 4 days later it was like new. The paint is like the factory. No problems at all and they even detailed my interior. I would highly recommend Maaco Derby for all your needs.Service: Painting

I needed someone to repair my car door latch and handle. Other repair shops refused but Suzanne at Maaco made it happen. She ordered the parts and was fixed in a few days. Front desk lady was so nice and also very knowledgebal. Indian boss reasonable with respect to customers and not greedy. All the mechanics I talked to were very professional and know what they are doing. After all, the job was well done. If you are in southern Connecticut area, this Derby MAACO is the one should be on your top list. I quoted over 10 bodyshop and end at Derby with very satisfied body repair.

This MAACO shop is amazing some of the best people that I have dealt with for car repair. I had two project cars that needed body work and painting. They are true professionals and I definitely recommend going to them for any vehicle repairs and painting. Suzanne and the rest of the team were understanding, pleasant and welcoming. Best customer service and best quality around. I don t think I ve ever met a better customer service rep and provider as diligent, knowledgeable and friendly as Suzi. I ve brought 2 cars in and I not only had the best pricing but the customer care and attention to every little detail of my cars is amazing here! I can t say enough good things about this shop. Brought my 2021 charger in for a new paint job this week and it literally couldn't have been better! Suzie up front was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with, everyone there was for that matter. They really take pride in their work and they do it right. Great prices, great service, and great people. Excellent experience, they did a beautiful paint job on my 2004 F-250, Suzzy is great and they made it look like it just came off the lot, I've wish wet dm sanding and buffing was included but even without the truck looks spectacular! Thank you Maaco

I had recently bought a truck cap for my ram 1500, it was the wrong color when I purchased it. I took it to Rob at Maaco in derby, he took a look at it, gave me a price and started the job the next week. It came out perfect, it matches the body of the truck perfectly and they had it done in a timely manner. I will definitely be using rob and his crew again in the future! Thank goodness for Rod and Maaco Derby! I recently had the unfortunate experience of having shoddy oil work done on my vehicle at another shop, but thankfully I was able to turn to Maaco in Derby to fix the mistakes. Rod was not only able to advise and monitor my situation over the phone, but also took the time to see that the issue was resolved before the holiday season. So, in addition to their exceptional repair work, their customer service is nothing short of impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend Maaco Derby to anyone in need of repair work, especially if you have been let down by another shop or just want to have it done right the first time. They are skilled professions who truly care about their customers and the quality of their work.
