There isn't a better place to take your vehicle! Dave Vernal is the kind of owner that reminded me of when I first took a car to a SERVICE STATION. Most are gone now replaced by quickie marts and car dealerships, neither are really where you want to bring a car for anything. Patronize this all-to-rare a breed in the business. You'll feel much better, and a little wiser for the effort. Yes, it's a little difficult to find a parking spot but there's a good reason for that.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Blown away by the service. I brought my car to Dave in the morning, he gave me ride to the local Avis rental. I figured it would take a day or 2 for him to run a diagnostics, as his lot was packed with other cars. By 11 am he contacted me with a quote, by 4 pm he replaced my alternator. I don't know Dave, this was the first time I have ever done business with him. A friend recommended this service station. I don't ever expect same day service when it comes to car repairs. Some how he fit my car into his busy day. He won my repeated business.

Vernal's was recommended by the guys at Town Fair Tires. when I first arrived, Dave hopped in my car within 5 minutes to listen to my problem, then asked when I could bring it in. The morning I brought it in, he drove me back to my house. Job done in a day (both wheel bearings) fair price exactly as quoted. Highly recommended! Hard to find a good honest shop, and I know I've found one.

Hard to find a good shop these days let alone a great one. I went down and and worked with Big Bill to get my truck back in shape. Great guy, honest and very knowledgeable .... Rare - ! Highly recommend this place and Bill !

Dave always takes time to make sure everything's in order. He has never over charged and often made an adjustment free of charge. Their work is thorough and fair. You're in excellent hands.

I came as a tourist from Sweden.Took the train from New York to Darien on a super hot September day. Walked around to look for Cherry Lawn School, where my mother worked for a year 1938-1939. Nobody seemed to know about it when I asked. Can't praise the owner of Vernal's Services Station enough. Not only could he direct me to the place, but he drove me there and then back to the railway station. He saw that I was tired and old. My gratitude for his time and sympathy is without limit.
