Top notch people and service! I brought my Porsche 911 TT to Speedsport for a few performance upgrades this week and from my first contact with Ben and his knowledgeable suggestions for my upgrades, to my service appointment that was thoroughly overseen and very well communicated throughout to me by Marc.Thank you all for such a pleasurable and satisfying experience all the way around, You have gained a customer for life!

I have been going to SST for years. Multiple European cars I ve had serviced and fixed and they never disappoint. They have the best Euro mechanics in the business. They always have the tools and knowledge to diagnose and fix whatever problems my car/s may be having. Recently, my 2014 S4 had, what could ve been, a serious electrical issue. My car is highly modified and the team took their time to reach out to the original tuning company, diagnose the underlying issue, and get all the parts needed for repair. Today I met Steve for the first time. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and able to chat about cars that didn t even have to do with my own. If I could give more than the 5 stars I would. I wouldn t bring my car, or recommend any other shop to anyone, other than SST. Thanks for all you do guys! See you in the near future.Services: Exhaust, Engine repair, Oil change

Marc and SST continue to be my go to for all service and restoration services. SST was recommended to me by a handful of people in the Porsche community. I just had my first service with them and couldn't be happier. They're professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with. The after-hours vehicle pickup, and electronic invoicing/record keeping are convenient as well. I've definitely found my new Porsche specialist and will be returning in the future.Service: Oil change

I've been using SST for 8 years for my VW service needs from oil changes to timing belt. Great shop that does great work. If people trust a shop with their rare and exotic cars, you too can trust them with your European vehicle service. And if you're looking for a trustworthy shop for your Porsche, ask other Porsche owners who they trust and you'll hear SST mentioned a lot. I just had my first experience with SST. They were a recommendation from a friend and I had such a positive experience dealing with them. Steve was my service advisor and he was very communicative and thorough throughout the whole process. Their customer lounge was very comfortable and pleasant to spend some time in. If I am back in the area and need help again with my German car I will be bringing it back to them.

These guys are Truly the Best! I have about 2 years Taking all three of my BMW's for oil changes, brakes, and spark plugs. Their attention to detail is impeccable, they also do a full inspection on your vehicles even if its in for just an oil change. Honest Mechanics are hard to find. SST is awesome. I had a Check Engine light come on. They suggested I drive it until near empty, put in a bottle of Techron, fill my 993 with 93 octane, drive it for an hour, unplug the battery, plug it back in. Voila! Check Engine light gone. Who does that?!!! If you have a real issue they will fix it perfect but they know our cars and are honestly the only people you can really trust and take your car to! Others would f you over and tell you that you had an expensive problem when you brought your car in with the check engine light on. They asked questions, listened to the motor and deduced correctly I wasn t driving my car enough and hard enough!Services: Auto engine tuning, Oil change

I had my Porsche worked on here for the first time and was impressed at every level. Owning a Porsche is a lot of things, fun, exciting, thrilling, just an incredible experience, but what makes the whole experience even better is having a trusted place to fix any issues you may have with the car. For that, SST in Danbury is the only place you need. These guys, it's like having a bunch of your buddies as Porsche experts. Friendly, professional expertise, patient, informative, and courteous. The shop itself is like visiting a car show. I can't say enough good things about them. Just go and see for yourself. I won't go anywhere else.

Took my C class Mercedes-Benz in for its B service. Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. I was even given a tour of the shop. Lots of awesome cars. Work on the car was completed in a timely manner and the cost was much lower than the dealer. Will be using them again and would definitely recommend them. Went to Speedsport about a year ag for alignment. Beautiful, clean shop, and friendly staff. The issue I had was the alignment wasnt straight with steering wheel and I took it back to fix. Car got there with no issues outside of the wheel alignment. They put it on the rack to correct and then they took the car out for a test drive. They brought it back with a coolant return hose leaking coolant and it looked like it clearly got clipped on something while their driver was out. They made me pay for the part and labor to replace even though it happened due to their employee. I would have loved to keep going there but couldn't after that.

I don't have a fancy car but these guys serviced and fixed issues in my old Honda Accord and Honda Odyssey that made it possible for me to sell them - they diagnosed, gave me good advice on where NOT to spend money, and fixed things for a great price that had to be fixed. Great knowledgeable dedicated staff! Passionate about fixing any car you bring in and were frankly less expensive than my local garage and WAY less expensive than my dealer - and their technicians knew more about cars than my dealers' mechanics.

SST Auto / SpeedSport Tuning is the only place for me!If I had to choose one word: TrustworthyThey service my Mini Coopers and my Porsche and the quality of service is beyond compare.I feel like I am entrusting my cars to extended family who not only get the job done right but at a fair price.I had an issue with one of my Minis and SST went so far as to let me know that there was a dealer recall on the topic and that BMW would fix it for free ... they saved me hundreds and earned a customer for life.The staff are excellent, the service is superior and I drive with confidence after having work performed.Thank you Speedsport!!

My Volvo S80 broke down on I-84 on Sunday afternoon of President's Day Weekend. I did not know where to have it towed, but lucky for me I found SST Auto! Within hours after leaving a message on the office phone, I received a call back from Spencer, who assured me that my car would be looked at first thing Monday morning. On Monday morning I spoke with Chris, the mechanic, who explained everything to me and what my car needed. Within 24 hours after having my car towed to SST, it was expertly repaired and ready for me to drive back to Pennsylvania! The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Being from out-of-state, they could have taken their time and could have overcharged me, but they went above and beyond and quickly got me safely on my way at a very reasonable price! I only wished I lived closer, because I would bring my car for service here on a regular basis. Thank you!!

Fantastic facility and people, some very choice cars in there. Had a Soul muffler delete system put in...they look excellent and tip fitment and alignment is 100% spot on.

This place is Awesome and Amazing! The professionalism and courtesy is unheard of. My first time there 6/26/20 and it won't be my last time there. Everyone is very polite and although the place looks expensive, it's not! The prices are right and they treat and handle your car as if it's their car. They walk you through everything and they don't order, touch or add parts without calling you first! John is amazing and knows his stuff along with both Mark, Mark and Bryant and rest of the crew. They make you feel like your in a real professional Nascar's or IndyCar 500 garage they way they care about you and your car. Again not expensive but Amazing quality! Out with my old mechanic, in with my new Speedsport Tuning Tech mechanic's!

SST is the best! I have 2 Porsche's that they maintain and they do an unbelievable job. Their customer service is by far the best of any service center or dealership I've ever dealt with. The work they do is top notch and the entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and personable. And they charge a very fair rate for what they do. You will not overpay for anything...ever!Just a very classy operation!

I have to say that the people I met (Spencer, Chris and Chris) down at Speedsport far exceeded my expectations. I was on a business trip to the Danbury area when my Mercedes lost a front wheel bearing on the highway - fortunately I was able to limp back to my hotel that night. I searched the Internet for Mercedes repair shops and Speedsport came up. I e-mailed them and explained my situation, expecting a reply the next morning, but received a reply from Spencer within an hour (at 9pm). He informed me that he would be able to check the car out first thing in the morning and provide a loaner car if needed - I was very relieved. I had my car towed to the shop and it was checked out and diagnosed by 9:30 am. Chris set me up with a nice Audi loaner so I could make my meetings. It turned out that a special part was needed from CA - so I had the loaner for two days. The part came in at 3pm the second day and the car was ready to go by 5pm. I was truly impressed by the high level of courtesy and attention to customer service that this shop has attained. I would definitely be a regular customer if I were local. Thanks again for being great to me and my Benz.

Really great group of guys. Chris was very helpful and his communication was excellent. I brought my 2011 BMW in for a service. They were reasonably priced and highly regarded. I am typically my own mechanic, but I will certainly bring my car to these guys when I need something out of my scope of work to be done, and that's saying something.Oh and they washed my car which was unexpected since all I got were tires mounted. If I could give them an extra star I would.

I had a wonderful experience with Speedsport Tuning. From the greeting when I first walked in the door, to the conversations I had with Chris regarding my concerns about my car, and what may (or may not be wrong with it) They calmed my fears and assured me that they would go through my Boxster and fix the problem that I was having (failed water pump) and help me understand what I would need to think about for maintenance in the future for the car.The work was completed very professionally and under estimate.I feel very comfortable with the friendly and professional folks at Speedsport and highly recommend them.As a bonus, I got to see some fantastic cars in the parking lot!

I have taken my BMW to SST several times now and all experiences have been excellent. They are knowledgeable, fair, honest, and flexible with great customer service. I would recommend anyone with a German vehicle to use SST for any level of work. From the staff, to the facility, to the parking lot full of eye candy, it is worth it!

I m an out of town guy with no knowledge of Danbury - I needed a third party mechanical appraisal of a high end used vehicle. SST Auto did a fantastic job Chris and his tech team went through the car top to bottom and gave me all the information I needed (detailed written report) to make an informed decision. These guys are top pros they ve got the technical expertise, equipment, and hands on skill to really know what to look for. All this done over the phone in one day and at a very reasonable price a great resource for your area.

Only rating 4 stars so I can leave some room for a 5-star if/when I continue to get work done there.Luckily I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. I had suspension work done with them on my Mustang GT - they ordered the 3rd party parts for me, were very good with communication and accommodation of scheduling, and the guys were really nice. When I stopped by for them to take a look at my car for an estimate, the tech was very friendly and showed me around the shop and what cars/projects they were working on.

These guys are fantastic--and as a past technician and present-day avid German car DIYer, it takes a lot for me to say that about an auto shop.Friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and no BS customer service, Chris and the technicians will take the time to properly explain or show you what you need to know about your car, and are happy to give out a few pro tips.In terms of the quality of work--top notch. As good or better than the dealership, only without all the dubious scare tactics and up-selling. What really seals the deal for me though, is the attention to detail. I can't express how hard this is to come by among auto shops.This shop services high-dollar and race-prepped Porsches all day long, but if you bring them a Volkswagen they will treat it and you with the same level of respect. Are they more expensive than the monkey wrench-wielding dude at the corner gas station? Yes they are, but if you own and and appreciate German cars, you understand the TLC they require. If you own a German car and live in the vicinity, I can't think of a good reason not to have your car serviced at SST.

An outstanding, diligent crew. Their precision in everything �from diagnostics to communication to the thorough post-service car wash� �is superb. You begin to understand why folks from as far away as Maine and Pennsylvania go out of their way to bring their cars here. Strongly recommended for anyone with a high-performance vehicle you want serviced with the care you'd give it yourself.

I m not a review person but they deserve it. I brought my BMW in to diag a TPMS malfunction. They found the problem in 1 hour after having brought it to 3 other places prior with no success. After picking up my car that evening, I noticed an issue with the trunk. Car was telling me it was open - and when I tried to open it, it wouldn t budge. Called them the next business day and they got me in to repair it within hours. Luckily I work across the street and they even delivered my car back to me! Also special shoutout to John. Professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Will definitely be a repeat customer.Service: Electrical

All though you hope you never need to have your car repaired, SST has been great. The service writers are knowledgeable and very responsive. The quality of work has been outstanding and they genuinely care. I highly recommend SST.
