I just got my car done here before a drive to Florida. After inspection at a restaurant stop I noticed one of the lugs was missing. After further inspection I found the trim tab connectors on one of the plastic panels hadn't been reinstalled and this piece was now hanging off. Besides having to fix this all myself, the missing lug is a serious safety concern. I don't know if it came off after leaving the shop, but I have never had one come off by hand tightening, and these guys have impact wrenches. Needless to say this was my first and last time here.

The mechanics are great, never had an issue with them and they tell it how it is which is much appreciated and why I went with two stars over one. However the sleazy salesman at the front desk who talks to people like they are idiots and tries to sell them on whatever he can is awful. I have brought my car here 4 times and the previous time I opted to put off a larger repair and got the band aid fix. Had the same problem today and was happy to come in and commit to the larger repair of $400+ but salesman tried to tell me it was going to be $145 just to look at my car and give me an estimate Am now looking for a new place to take my car if anyone has any suggestions LOL

Brought my car in to have the state required emissions inspection. I was on my way after about 45 minutes. No problems professional service.I have previously bought Tires from this company and I was satisfied with that also.I recommend Mohawk West tire and auto center.

After having an issue with my front rotors and brakes, I spoke to Al and he immediately reviewed the car and noticed that the parts were defective. After a conversation, he stated that the rotors needed to be replaced free of charge, which was great to hear. In this day in age where negative reviews are all people post, I must say this is probably one of the best customer experiences I've ever had involving this type of work. Thank you Mohawk and thank you Al for the great work you and your team do.

Came here for emissions testing. Said they needed the physical piece of paper that came in the mail, interrupting me while I was speaking multiple times. Went to Firestone in Brookfield who were 10x nicer and didn t even need the mailed notice or registration. Can t say I recommend.

I would recommend this place to anyone. They are extremely honest and very fair. My Honda dealership claimed I needed new break pads so I brought my car here and they said I still had 50% life left and did not need new break pads. They will never oversell you or tell you you need something when you don t. Great service!

Our experience at Good Year of Danbury was excellent. We're greeted and asked how they may be of service. Had a transmission fluid flush somewhere else in PA two weeks prior the mechanic told me I might need and extra quart of transmission fluid because I heard a noise. I told Mohawk West that I needed an extra quart of fluid. They told me I had to do the flush all over again??? I said why they told me because they couldn't tell how much fluid was in there. I said isn't that why there is a dip stick? They charged me $92.94 to put in a quart of tramission fluid.

Dropped in to get a nail removed from a tire. Staff seemed friendly and their price was in line with other places I called. Tire was patched and filled with air. Entire process took about an hour. They have a waiting area, but I recommend walking across the parking lot and grabbing a drink at the restaurant next door. After they remove your nail they add it to a huge jar on the front desk. Knowing that I contributed another nail to this curiosity somehow made me feel better about getting a nail stuck in my tire.

DO NOT come here for emissions testing unless you have brand new tires. I chose this location because it was conveniently five minutes from my home. Little did I know they would turn me away saying I need new tires. What a coincidence!! A tire shop rejecting me for emissions testing saying I need new tires. I should have read their reviews prior to showing up because apparently this is what they do. Try generating business through honest and friendly customer service? Scamming people won't work. After sitting for a half hour only to be rejected services I drove to another location and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I told them about my experience here and they said they ALWAYS get customers from Mohawk who are denied service because they dont have brand new tires. Please take yourselves off of the list for emissions if you have no integrity. I won't even consider this business for tires in the future.

The best place to come for VIN verification and emissions testing! Very friendly, quick service, and they are so nice to my kids. They have little coloring books and turn on cartoons to watch, and you can see into the shop from the waiting area. My kids love to watch the cars being worked on.

Excellent service for all your auto and tire needs. Very friendly and competent staff. Also if you need other services like 1) emissions testing or 2) VIN verification they do it here. I've been coming here for 10+ years and am very happy with their service.

Quick in and out for emissions test. Walk-ins available. Employees were polite and professional. Would def recommend them to anyone in the area.

Never had a bad experience here unlike some nearby shops. Service is fast. I just walked in for a tire repair and was it in about 30 minutes. I always go here for my emissions, just remember it's $20 CASH so you don't have to run to an ATM like I did

Horrible experience. They're pretty shady. I'd go there for the emissions testing because I think they can handle that and the price is fixed, but if you need a problem diagnosed on your car, think again. They charged us $220 for a couple of gaskets and the car still ran like garbage. They didn't listen to our recommendation that they look at the fuel pump as the source of the problem (which it was and once that was replaced by someone else, it ran great) and instead told us the transmission was going which ended up being BS. They're pretty bad. Lousy customer service and they don't know how to fix cars which is their only job. Go figure.

Had a horrible experience the last couple of times we took our vehicles into this shop, only went back this last time so that they can fix something that they did. But we ended up leaving this last time with more problems. Had then do an alignment and it's worse then it was before they worked on it. Starting to think they have workers there that don't know how to work on cars. We've had them change our brakes, had problems with the brake weeks after they changed them. Had an oil change done and they didn't put enough oil back in, light came on instantly, had an alignment done and the car runs off the road. What kind of a company is this? The wait time is ridiculous. I'm not happy at all with my experiences so far in the Connecticut shops, went to the shop in Winchester VA and we have had no problems at all, gave them a 5 star review.

I visited from The Poconos and Bill was very nice and thorough. His service was done in a timely manner and he treated me as if he knew me for a lifetime. If I ever return back to the area and I need any service done, I would not give it a 2nd thought...I would go to them and recommend them highly.Thank you for the great service!

Went in to get my tire changed and ended up with a broken glove box. Not only did they not ask permission to go through my personal belongings in my car, they also refused to assume responsibility for breaking my glove box and instead kept repeating the same invalid excuse as to why they wouldn t pay for the damage they caused. The owner himself was whom was helping me so I was exptremely disappointed in the way he handled the situation. I do not recommend this shop and they have definitely lost my business.

I had an emergency with an oil leak. Mohawk took the vehicle right in. The service was excellent and very attentive. They make a really good cup of coffee too.

I have had nothing but amazing service from this location. These guys are great! They have helped me over the last 15 years and my parents use them too . Anything you need they take care of. 5 star. If I could give more I would.

Bill and his team at Mohawk West saved my week!! I hit a massive pothole on the way to work on Thursday - needed a new tire and a new rim. I was near tears at the thought of waiting two weeks for a new wheel due to the holiday season swiftly approaching, and having to drive to and from work and family gatherings with a donut on my car. Luckily Bill was able to contact several used dealers in the area, and called me with a new wheel ready to go on my car by 10am on Friday morning!!! They were thorough, showed me the damage to my tire, and worked diligently to get me in and out. Mohawk West saved me a lot of strife this holiday season - with speed, kindness and affordability to boot! I had never been to Mohawk West Tire before, but I will certainly be back. Thank you again!

I came in off the street and asked for a price. I was shown a quote for 2 different tires in my size. I was told they could do the work right now. I said yes and I was out in 45 minutes. Very professional and quick thanks guys

I live in Charlottesville VA. On my way to visit my family in Southbury CT....my low tire light came on. The wonderful people at Mohawk Tire checked all my sensors and added a little nitrogen to keep me safe.Thank you! You are truly kind and caring people at Mohawk!

Crappy customer service. I was in a fender bender two mornings ago and i dropped my car off to them because it was the closest shop. My insurance company is having an inspector come look at it sometime soon but theyre calling me 3 times a day, rushing me to come get my car bc they "don't have space for it" on their property. Very rude and overpriced.

Everytime I've gone here they always seem to overprice everything and try to have me fix or replace something that doesn't need to be. I only have been going here because it was convenient for me but they have lost my business because the last time they said I needed to replace my calipers. I couldn't do it at the time because I just didn't want to spend so much on a brake job (almost $900) and later when I got some time I checked the calipers my self and didn't find anything wrong with them. Also they tried to show me the problem with them right in the shop and when I was back there I saw mechanics just standing around on their phones so that labor charge is more than it should be. All of this is from the Mohawk on Newtown Rd in Danbury, CT.
