Maureen Genesis Service Coordinator, Thank you for being so useless and for not returning my calls. 4 left messages simply trying to make an upcoming appointment. I don t care how busy you are, you can make time for a 5 minute phone call. They fixed my head light and now the other light is acting up and they couldn t care less that I m driving around with a dim light. I ve heard 3 different stories as to what s going on with this dealership. A Sales rep said I can make an appt with a loaner but didn t actually make me an appt said I had to wait for Mrs. Maureen who can t return a phone call to call me back. Sales rep Courtney, who sold me the car told me to go somewhere else because the company is being bought out and their service dept is closed down until April. Anna who picks up the calls in service dept said that the service dept is open they just aren t giving out loaner cars **Which is what sold me on this deal because I live 45 miles away, why else would I buy a car 45 miles away from me if they don t have a loaner service. Anytime my service lights for oil change came up, I had to wait a month past that date to get a service. Any issue on the car I had to wait at least a month to get it looked at or receive a loaner. CALL WHITE PLAINS. They made me an appt in seconds and it was for the following week. They understood my frustration and were very professional.This was the most unprofessional experience I ve had with a dealership ever in my life. Reading all of the other horrible reviews in hilarious. Owner Stop apologizing and saying your going to speak to you team or your sorry, if you all continue to suck at your job.

I had fantastic service from Trevor at genesis of danbury. He was patient organized and had a wealth of knowledge. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase a car. He truly wanted to make sure it was the right car for me from a safety, comfort and price. Not only did he support the sale so did Courtney he followed up and ensured I was happy. They both make a great team and I couldn t be happier with my new car. Thank you Trevor and Courtney for everything!!!

Just purchased a 2024 GV80 at Genesis of Danbury from Trevor. He was an amazing sales guy... knew every detail, pros and cons, he just came across as genuine and actually interested in what I would be using the vehicle for versus trying to seal the deal. Would certainly recommend Trevor for anyone looking to buy or lease. Also, the dealership itself is well-staffed - everyone was smiling, they all got along really well. So I'm sure that comes from management above. Keep up the great work.

Strange way of doing business. When my wife had a bad service experience (including a 15-20 minute delay in finding the service rep), I sent an e-mail to service manager. I had an almost immediate response...by a sales rep who mistook my flame mail for a sales lead. When I didn't hear from the service manager, I e-mailed GM who hasn't responded and neither has the service manager. As I said to the GM, if this is the way Hyundai's premium marque does business, Lexus, Infiniti and Acura have nothing to worry about.Update on 10/25/23 as I return to FL. Now, no response from Danbury Service Manager, Danbury GM or Genesis USA. The GV70 may be Motor Trend's 2022 SUV of the year but this looks like a whole lot of indifference to me. If I had to have my GV70 serviced here all the time, I'd be going back to my RDX, where the service was impeccable.

Sunday afternoon. One other customer inside the office, at least 4 salesmen that I counted and apparently, they were too busy watching the 4 year old they hired cleaning the windows. I had to initiate a conversation with the sales man by a question and his answer was everything was online now and offered no help beyond that. Was walking around the office for 10 minutes or about 3 laps trying to get someone's attention before I finally gave up and walked out. Don't come here if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle unless you liked getting ignored and brushed off like your business is unwelcome.

If I could leave a zero I would. Trevor handed us off to another dealer who was less then ethical. The car I had called about multiple times and was available suddenly had a possible deposit after they found out we were using our own financing. This not only unethical it s down gross. Good luck Genesis I am so turned off. Never again! I m going to RIVIAN! Less aggression!

I take back the forced star. it is a negative star. Journey was worst than any experience in car shopping. The sale person was a narcissist, unprofessional scammer. Unfortunately, the process from the sales person was an insecure creepy man, with no etiquette on customer service. Where do you find these scammers? It will sink your brand: instead of Genesis it s apocalyptic horror real experience . Don t waste your time .

I recently purchased a new Genesis GV70 and traded in a BMW X5 as a part of the transaction. I was issued new plates at the time of the deal. Five weeks after the sale I received a voicemail from the CT Dept. of Motor vehicles informing me that the dealer had re-registered the BMW in my name in addition to the new GV70. I have spent 40 minutes on hold twice with the DMV trying to rectify this and spent 40 minutes this morning at my local tax department documenting what has transpired so that when two property tax bills arrive next June they will believe me. Multiple telephone calls to the dealer's sales department (salesman Carlos Montoya) and Genesis manager have been unreturned. The manager's voicemail box is full and will not accept any messages. I love the vehicle and my experience with the service department has been top notch. The Genesis Genius vehicle education was fantastic. The complete failure of the dealer's sales and management to inform me of this issue and return my calls is not the luxury car experience that Genesis is striving for. I would not buy from this dealer again.

I wish I read the reviews before going to this dealership. They added some charges to my finances which I found out only later on. I have been calling them to get it removed. Every time they tell me they are busy and will call me back. It s been 3 months and the same thing going on. Definitely do not recommend this dealership

The salesmen Kevin was extremely insightful and helped me chose which Genesis I wanted. While I did end up buying a pre-owned one elsewhere that fit my budget, Kevin never dropped the ball in answering my questions as well as congratulating me on the new car, without a tone of pettiness that he didn't get my business.The service department at Danbury Hyundai/Genesis is one of the best I have seen. I need warranty work done and Maureen as well as Ryan were the BEST. I had no idea the Valet service they did to get my car in and get me in a loaner. I got into a Genesis from an Acura, and after dealing with Acura of Milford where I never got a loaner, calls would go unanswered, even them LOSING my car, it was a huge relief to deal with Genesis where I am VALUED. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

We went there because Genesis of Wilkes Barre PA wanted to add a $4k markup plus $600 license and Registration fees. Courtney the Danbury Sales manager said they sold at MSRP. He got us the exact car fast but he was horrible at returning calls, texts, or emails. At closing he added $699 for registration fees plus $1299 documentation fees. I should have walked away but my wife really wanted it. Also Courtney laid a guilt trip on me because I didn t give him a 10 on my review of him. Finally I felt like his manager blew off my complaints about Courtney.

I bought a used car from them. Since i am a resident of a different state they gave me a in-transit plate which has expired long back. I have been calling this dealership to please provide me the plates but they just don t. I quit my job because of no means of commute. These people are absolutely ignorant about their customers. Zero after sales service. They just try to rip everyones pockets. They don t care about customers. Please dont go there please. I regret buying my car from salesperson jose who didn t help me out in anyway.

Very terrible customer service!!! My mom s car was towed here a week ago as it suddenly shut off on the highway. She was told she could have it looked at the next day as every other place has told me it would take a week to even look at it. She was promised a call back every day but never received one so she had to take it upon herself to call them and one day she was on hold for 26 mins and then the phone hung up. The advisor keeps telling her he has no idea what s wrong and that he will call her the next day but he never does. Also she was told they don t have loaners available but never even made an effort to try to help her out with getting one!! Very terrible, she feels highly disrespected, we are livid and she feels very mistreated by the staff of this place. This is unacceptable and veryyyyyy unprofessional!!! Just to have a diagnosis done it takes you this long!?! Very dishonest and poor customer service. Completely insane, about to have the car towed somewhere else because this is ridiculous. I highly recommend NOT to have your car serviced here as you will be waiting for days on end just to hear an answer that will never come. If I could give this place a 0 out of 5 I would. Unprofessional and disgraceful

I love my new Genesis G70; however, the offer of excellent customer service at this facility is fraudulent. They put on a big show, but once you sign the check it disappears. My brand new vehicle had an inconspicuous dent in the back door jam. I noticed after 3 days. I now believe they were aware when they sold it to me. My new car needs bodywork and they don t have time to address it and it s been months. So disappointed. Don t be duped.I fully support getting a Genesis vehicle, just not at the Danbury location!!!

One of the best Genesis service center. Very organized. Everyone does their best to serve customers. I made reservation and I made mistake by going there earlier one day . They still fit me in after asking if I can wait for one as bF half hours . I asked for a plate holder and the agent ordered for me without any hesitation. Please don t follow any negative views about this place. I drive more than an hour from NY and I will keep them as my Service Center 10 Stars not 5 . Charlie the Genesis advisor deserves 20 stars

Courtney was pleasant, courteous and knew his vehicles. We found him very easy to work with and I can tell you we are not often an easy sell.Both my husband and I enjoyed working with him during the sale process. His sense of humor and easy manner made it a pleasant experience, and I usually dislike car shopping.We would definitely recommend your dealership to a friend

Genesis Of Danbury is a great sales experience. While they're not exclusive to Genesis vehicles yet, as they still sell Hyundai's, they do try hard to make the experience good.Worked with Trevor, who is now back at Genesis of Stamford, and he was the game changer. He helped me get a good deal on a 2021 G80. They promised me all-weather mats and a second key and he came through on the promise. I will certainly do business with them again when my GF is ready to upgrade her car to the Genesis family.

This is my buying story...I first went to New Rochelle NY, Genesis dealer and it was a really bad experience. There costumer services needs some work and they low balled my trade in big time so with that I went to Danbury....Can I tell you, what a night and day difference! Definitely better car selection and overall better dealership. My sales Salesperson was Mr. Delmore and my finance Manager was Mr. Walker these two guys were very professional and personal(if that makes sense). The trade -in manger was aces too and was very transparent and did not try to low ball me and play games!!The car selection is way better then the first dealer...way better! Danbury Genesis will be getting my business in the future 100%. The only thing I can say bad about the place is the free pizza ain't no NY pizza!! lol!

Terrible customer service, no communication and they have been sitting on my car for weeks and keep playing games when I call no one knows what is going on. I was told car would be done fri 6/2 then they said Mon 6/5 then Wed 6/7 then for sure it would be fixed Fri 6/9 and he we are today Saturday 6/10/23 and still haven t heard from them, I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a car from Genesis or service to do so else where, this dealer is extremely unprofessional and apparently thinks we pay monthly for our car to sit in their service bay.

(Update from my original review) It's been almost 3 weeks since I've owned my Genesis I have to say while Genesis is trying to build and market a upper end luxury automobile they are a Hyundai!!! 1st their corporate customer service /support is the same as Hyundai they are not Lexus, BMW, Mercedes or any of the luxury brands on the market. Sales and service is done in the same place as Hyundai to sum it up if they want to play in the luxury car market they should be a luxury car company not a big step below the reason I'm putting this on The Genesis of Danbury website is because I can't get anyone at Genesis corporate to help with my problem I had to resolve it on my own... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -I was looking for a Red G70 and nobody in my area had one I live in Massachusetts. Genesis of Danbury had the car I wanted. I called and spoke with Courtney who is the sales manager on Sunday after 3 phone calls I bought my G70. Monday morning we did all the paperwork over the phone. At 5.00 pm Courtney pulled into my driveway with my new Genesis G70. Courtney is a great person and did everything possible to make sure I am happy. One in a million.

I just left this place with my husband and we are livid. Courtney (manager) came in while we were speaking with a seller to tell us "let me cut to the chase, this is a $70k car" we were floored that he profiled us because prior to looking at the Genesis we looked at the top trim model of the Santa Fe and Palisades. He has zero idea of our income and assumed because we looked at "lower end cars" we could not afford this car. Yet we were ready to pay in full in cash. I'm extremely disheartened at the profiling we just experienced.His behavior is unacceptable. We will be taking this to corporate. His demeanor was appalling and unprofessional. If my husband and I would have came in flaunting money he would have treated us with respect. There is no reason why someone should treat others differently because of their own biases.He even had the audacity to follow us out of the store. My husband had to tell him to back off because he kept yelling at my husband "I'm not profiling you, you are just wasting everyone's time here" I intervened and asked him to have a good day and to respect that I had a child with me. My child is still shaken and does not understand why the man followed us and yelled at his dad.

Up to my original post below - John R. the sales manager called me to remedy this issue. He promised to ensure that more transparent practices are used in clearly communicating the TOTAL price of the purchase.Agreed to one price and received a higher price in the financing. Courtney, the sale person told me basically "I should have asked a question". I didn't have any question at the time. I signed a document with the agreed sales price and there was $2.8k added in the financing doc as "other'. When I questioned it Courtney became very defensive. I backed out of the conversation with him and sent and email to the general manager. Absolutely no response.I am very happy with my car but this dealer is shady with hidden fees and I don't like doing business with people like that. Very disappointed.

Met with Mr. Delmore, could not be happier. I did not end up buying a car with Mr. delmore as of yet. However, his customer service skills are at a level I have not heard of. My fianc� and I were looking at buying a new car. I told mr. Delmore I was getting married and would not be buying anything for a few months. Talking to Mr. Delmore was like talking to a family member. He was extremely helpful I can t say enough about this man. If you re reading this Mr. Delmore thank you for all your help! Don t ever change.

The is place is horrible they not willing to work with the costumer at all. Completely rude service,worst I've ever seen. I went to go get a car so I have a new car to drive my kids to school.when I walk in the shop the owner gave me a nasty look.i ask if I can take a look at the cars the owner said ok in a nasty way I didn't like how the owner was treating me.i tried buying a car but the owner told me to come pick it up on April 1st I said ok when I tried getting it on April 1st the owner said he don't have the car that I wanted anymore .
