Only positive things to say about my recent experience at Toyota of Colchester. My car was serviced in a reasonable amount of time. The cost was the quoted estimate. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The service advisors were friendly and helpful.

I have always been generally happy with my experiences at Toyota of Colchester. I have purchased my last 3 Corollas here. When I was having a problem with the manager reaching a reasonable price the owner stepped in and settled the deal at a very fair price. My buying experience dates back 10 years though, so pre-pandemic, and can't speak about sales in recent years.Service is generally good, completed timely and when I have had any problems they were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. The Service Advisors are helpful, informative and pleasant. As an example, I had cancer this past year and was out of work for 6 weeks recovering from surgery, so in a tight place financially. When my tires needed to be replaced because they were worn, the Advisor informed me of their October sale of buy 3 tires get the 4th for a $1, which was helpful.

Happy customer here with my Sienna. Alex Bruno took care of me, very polite, respectful, and nice guy who made it easy and pleasant. Thanks! In addition, when I first contacted the dealer to check availability of the Sienna, Amanda answered my question, she was very nice as well. Also, Erick the person with who I signed the paperwork of contract, was super friendly and respectful.5* for all the cool staff.

I bought a pre-owned Corolla in November, and paid a bit more than I wanted to, but it had some great perks along with it, and was supposed to be "like new". I test drove it, and everything seemed fine day one, so I decided to purchase it.First thing wrong, the Bluetooth microphone was broken. When I brought it in the following week to have the plates put on, they said they would fix the Bluetooth but I would need to make an appointment. I made the appointment, and was told I need to leave it there the whole day, so I asked for a loaner car, since it's not very convenient for me to drive back and forth, and find a ride. They did agree to this. A week into driving the car, I notice a LOT of creaking, going over bumps, and making turns. Finally, I had an appointment, many weeks later, and could leave my car with them. I was told they would fix the Bluetooth and the creaking. I also never received the second key, and was told they would "find it" or "make a new one".They kept my car two weeks, and the only communication I got directly, was when the car was ready. During the two weeks, no one kept me in the loop of what was going on, even though I was initially told it would take two days max. Thankfully I had the loaner car I asked for or I would have been in a worse position. I called for updates, and was told they had to wait on parts and everything would be taken care of. When I finally drive the car again, moments later I notice the creaking noise. I thought that was odd, since I was told it would be taken care of. I called to ask and apparently it was the struts but not a safety issue. To me, that sounds VERY odd, so I had another mechanic look at it to be sure. Also, why would they not tell me it wasn't fixed, and then I am surprised upon driving it? Strange part is how the creaking starts a WEEK after owning it, as if the noise was covered up, and then whatever was used, wore off. The Bluetooth is fixed, but the quality is very staticy, so that is rather disappointing. At this point, I really just want the second key I was promised in the contract. I have had to ask multiple times, in person, through text, and yesterday even called to ask the manager. The manager, Abe, told me the salesman Izzy would call me back about it, but no call has come through yet. It's incredibly frustrating purchasing a car from here, and I doubt I would again. It's like they expect you to keep up with them, to make sure they fulfill their end of the deal. I have been in customer service over 12 years, and always try to provide the best customer interactions possible. I would never, over a month later, still not give the customer what was promised.I gave 3 stars, because the car is decent enough. Good luck buying a car from here, hoping they will have everything in order for you.

Excellent service. Last visit I had an issue with my vehicle. I deal with Alice. Alice is friendly and professional and always makes sure all concerns are addressed with the mechanics in the service dept.

Everyone is very helpful at Toyota of Colchester. I actually look forward to my appointments. I enjoy a nice cup of coffee and bring in my cute, little pup. The staff are always pleased to see my little dog. The other customers all seem to like her as well. Their prices are very fair as well.

We had a great experience, everyone was very friendly and helpful. From start to finish it took less that a week to purchase our car.

Hands down best experience I have ever had at a dealership. The whole staff was super accommodating from sales to management to financing. I just came in to inquire about a financing special and their team worked hard to get me a deal I could handle considering my circumstances. I had to bring my family with me and everyone went above and beyond to make them feel welcome. No pressure, just good people trying to do the right thing. This is the type of experience you want from a dealership. I shopped around to multiple Toyota dealerships and these guys for sure made it worth the extra 40 minute trip.

The staff at Toyota of Colchester are extremely inviting, very humble, and they assure their customers are comfortable during their time at the dealership. They provided us with fresh cold bottled water, appropriate seating for everyone who came with me, and provided us every detail and information to my questions. Izzy Garcia, one of the salesmen, came in ON HIS DAY OFF to help me find a new car after mine was totaled in an accident by a drunk driver. I am extremely satisfied with the service I was given and I recommend this place to anyone!

I found the people here very fair and easy to deal with. My salesperson Alex was patient and understanding throughout all of our contracts. And there were many. Through no fault of the dealer, it took many months for my vehicle to be manufactured and delivered. And they were great the whole time. I am pleased that this was my choice of dealers.

Alex was very helpful and patient rolling me into a new used car after mine started giving me trouble. He made a stressful situation manageable and got me in a great replacement. Evan in finance was easy to work with as well. Very happy with my experience and purchase.

half a star is too much for these people. The only real humans that work there are Diane, (receptionist) and Michael Cyr (veteran car salesman)They have a young hot ticketed young man running the dealership whose never touched a wrench in his life.I wrench for a living so whenpeople say to you this is a FAMILY business, they are lying. This is a bunch of crooks- who street Firefighters from Connecticut, and ACTIVE ARMY Service members.WATCH OUT NO POLICE/FIRE/TEACHER/SOCIAL WORKER OR VETERAN DISCOUNTSBEWARE- they won't finance you unless you bring them a suitcase of cash-which my Credit Union of the CT STATE EMPLOYEES, doesn't allow more than a $9,000.00 per day.I was treated horribly and asked to leave and they LIED and said I threatened a girl bc I asked her how she got her hair so long.DISGUSTING but you can see that from the other reviews.Hope this dealerships facelift helps them sell cars LOL I do not think it will though- everything on the lot is overpriced and they ABC (always be closing) people who they perceive are weak. I will NOT be taken advantage of as a LATINA WOMAN who safely lives down the street and protects it too.HOFFMAN TOYOTA, LYNCH TOYOTA, COLONIAL TOYOTA, A1 TOYOTA- THATS WHERE YOU BUY THE TUNDRA, 4RUNNER OR WHATEVER REAL TOYOTA YOU WANT.THESE PEOPLE WILL LIE TO YOU, AND TO THREATEN YOU WITH THE POLICE BECAUSE YOU ASKED SOMEONE TO PLEASE CUT THEIR LONG HAIR, THAT IS VERY DRY :)WILL BE LEGALLY PERSUE, AT THE TROOP RIGHT NOW MAKING A DISCRIMINATION REPORT.VIOLATING MY CIVIL RIGHTS.(In 1964, Congress passed Public Law 88-352 (78 Stat. 241). The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Provisions of this civil rights act forbade discrimination on the basis of sex, as well as, race in hiring, promoting, and firing.)I was discriminated against on many levels at this car dealership. I hope you dont make the same mistake i did and trust them to go shopping. BUT IF YOU DO- go see Diane first, she'll get u a nice coffee- and MIKE CYR - hes the only OG VETERAN left.that kid running the store needs diapers. He doodoo himself when I walked in.PS the owner is sensitive to people with k9 trained dogs who sniff drugs-hope he isn't hiding any in those tundra's in the back.Thank you,WERNER

Toyota of Colchester was my go-to prior to purchasing my 2021 RAV4 Prime. I would bring my 2016 RAV4 there for servicing and would not only be incredibly pleased with the work done on my vehicle, but also feel like family based on the interactions with the crew there! I always got the best treatment. Thank you Chris, John, Gabby, and Alice for supporting me through the years and throwing an ENORMOUS bow on my OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR 2021 Prime!! These guys will forever be my trusted dealership.

We had a good experience buying our car here. We are out of state and they did all the paperwork for us, the final out the door price quoted on the phone/email was what we paid when we came to pick up the car. Communication while waiting on the car was good, Ryan kept us updated. We were in an out within an hour (and even that could have been quicker, but we were chatting with Ryan and Evan), so overall easy experience, would definitely consider this dealership again if the need arises.

I got the impression they are a family owned business. I got treated very well there. It was the first time I have used them. It was an oil change and tire rotation. I m new to the area, and I was trying them out. I plan on making them the dealership for my Prius, in future. I always use a dealer.

I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. After taking my truck to get aligned it left in worse condition than it showed up. The tech, Advisors, or even the General Manager would not own up to their mistake and wouldn't do anything about it. Over an $80 alignment that didn't actually align my truck, nor a $100 axle. After spending thousands on my truck in upgrades recently, they claim it's a setup after trying to cover my own ass, and over $200.00. Very disappointed that from top to bottom they aren't truthful about their practices and won't alleviate the issue over a drop in the bucket to them.

I really haven t had a bad experience, except for my most recent visit. I had my rear brakes done about a year and a half ago. They started squeaking a few weeks ago and so I had another mechanic look at them. Apparently when I mentioned this to the mechanic at the dealership, they couldn t find the squeaking. The other mechanic told me there was no lube and that s why it was squeaking. He also told me that if that doesn t fix the problem, my brakes will need to be redone. I m confused as to why this was something that was forgotten. I will not going to bring my vehicle back here.

I had a recall on my fj cruiser of a fuel pump, they did a professional job along with the service department. Alice kept me informed the status of my vehicle while I was home. They gave me a ride home and when it was ready they came to pick me up. Excellent job. I recamend this dealership to anyone that needs service and to buy a vehicle. Thank you everyone for a terrific job.

Holiday weekend with a nail in my tire. Colton told me to come right in and they would look and see what they could do. Unfortunately, it was in the sidewall and couldn't be repaired. But they squeezed me in Tuesday morning and I got 4 new tires. It was done quickly and I was treated very politely. Nice experience.

Receptionist in service is beyond rude. She has no concept of what customer service means. Nor does she care. That would never have been tolerated years ago.Colton is a helpful nice kid.Bought three cars here. Never again, unless they take out the unnecessary garbage.

My first 5000 miles service went 25 min over the time they said it was going to take. I just left their now had a second 10000 miles service had a appointment for 1:00 pm went to look at 1:25 and my car wasn t even moved. Had a doctor appointment at 2:30 so I decided to refuse my service cause I wasn t going to make it to the doctor appointment in time. The experience that I had with this dealership since day one a fully regret buying a vehicle from this dealership! ON TOP OF THAT THEY SOLD ME A EXTENDETED WARRANTY I WAS THINKING I COULD USE AT ANY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP NOPE ONLY AT THEIR SHOP FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THIS DEALERSHIP IS A JOKE!

Toyota of Colchester Service Advisor Nico Nicastro was fantastic. He was patient, friendly, smart, well informed, and 100% professional. Due in large part to to their service my Prius runs like new today even though it is 9 years old. Toyota of Colchester has been a wonderful place to get my car serviced. I feel very lucky to have such great service nearby.

We have been bringing all our vehicles to the Colchester service department (Toyotas & other mfg s) for 10+ years and our experiences have always been fantastic. The service team is always accommodating, spot on with their diagnosis, get the work completed when they say they will and very reasonable with the costs. We have also purchased our last four vehicles from the sales dept and have had great experiences also.

Multiple other Toyota dealerships in the area dont add dealer mark-ups. Toyota of Colchester DOES charge OVER MSRP for some of their vehicles. I was a customer here and just went elsewhere. Greedy practices are a penny-wise but dollar-foolish. Congrats on losing a $40,000.00 sale over a few hundred dollars. Go elsewhere, but at UNDER MSRP!

They do a great job with just an oil change. When that s done they let you know what other things that may be wrong with your car. There is no pressure from them and the customer service was great too. I keep coming back great job girls and guys!
