They provide a clear explanation of the work that is needed, what is needed for the repair(s), options when available and an estimate for all proposed work. Scheduling and turnaround times are very good. They get in touch quickly if something comes up in the process. They stand behind their work.

My family and I have been coming here for years and are always satisfied with the service, professionalism, and knowledge of Evans Automotive. Every time we come in, the mechanics take the time to do a thorough examination, are honest and straight-forward about our vehicle needs, explain their findings, and answer our many questions.

Very good service and fair prices. We have always been pleased with their work and work ethic. They could have done work on our power steering as we questioned some noise issues and they said not to worry about it as it was functioning properly. That saved us several hundred dollars and, like they said, it has functioned properly for the past 3 years since we had them check it out. Much better than Desmond's. Highly recommend Evans Automotive.

Severely overcharged me for a recovery tow. Dumped the cleanup material in the seat and pulled the car by the sway bar. Then told me they could just keep my car if I don't like the bill.

Just moved to Colchester and needed to find a mechanic asap. I looked on the web for best repair shop reviews and decided to take a ride to Evans. Right from the start, I had a good feeling about them. Prior to dropping off the truck I did a quick inspection to figure out what needed to be done. The estimate was fair, they didn t try to up-sell me on things I didn t need, and the price was fair. I dealt with Glenn and Joe and both were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need and they are now my go-to repair shop. Their work was excellent.

I had a flat tire, I wanted to support local business so I brought my car to Evans auto. They took care of my flat tire without any delay.Nice professional service, I would recommend Evans Auto for Auto need and I will be there life long customer.

I have been taking all my vehicles there for over 20 years. They are fair, efficient, and reliable. I won't take my cars anywhere else. From routine maintenance to more extensive repairs they can do it all.They are the very best.

Horrible customer service. Refused to help a family who's in Italy for the week after an unfortunate misunderstanding about a registered vehicle . Requested the customer to provide up to date registration and insurance cards which were in the vehicle then denied the customer access to the vehicle to get the paperwork .Money scam it's common these days everyone wants to take as much money as possible from you even when they are wrong about something. It makes me sick

Great Service from these guys. I'd definitely would recommend this shop above the other auto repair replaces in town. I will be using Evan's Auto for general repairs on my SUV from now on.

I had a rough night coming from casino and was taken from my vehicle and arrested on an unknown warrant my pocketbook money keys my life was in my car and to get to everything the next day and all was there I thank you so much
