I liked how communicative and thorough they were here, especially loved the online work approval system. Joe was able to help me out and not only fix my tire before I had to leave for the weekend, but also replaced a couple of other things that had issues. Will be back!

Very honest. Don't take advantage to my lack of knowledge in cars. My car turn off when driving, and I send my car here. I thought it was probably fuel pump issue and expected to pay for a thousand bucks to repair. However, despite of my assumption, Collinsville inspected my car and overthrow my thought and identify the true problem, and it only costs me two hundred bucks.

Collinsville Auto is my go to place for both my cars! I simply love their service, how they treat me (not ignoring my concerns about details on my 2 vehicles!). The work done is exceptional. They always let me know what they are doing beforehand and go over the expense with me! I will NEVER go anywhere else. I highly recommend Collinsville Auto

I found Collinsville Auto after I lost faith in the local Toyota dealer. They always provide amazing service at a much more reasonable price. Their communication while your vehicle is in their shop is second to none. I received constant communication and pictures of the issues that needed repairs. We were longtime customers of another auto repair in Canton and we loved and trusted the owner.When the business closed because I always like to support business in town, I tried another garage nearby and the service was awful and the service manager was rude. I needed a new home . A friend recommended Collinsville Auto and her recommendation was spot on. I recently had great service as always with these folks. I received a detailed quote complete with pictures about what repair needed to be done. Work was completed on time with a loaner vehicle provided. I love that the copy of the completed work order is emailed to me so I can quickly access that. Nothing but good things to say about this business.Services: Tire rotations, Brakes

This was the first time that I used Collinsville Auto, Repair and I had an absolutely wonderful experience! I brought my Dodge pick up truck to have two broken exhaust manifold studs repaired after another shop failed to do the repair. I was very impressed with the communication with Joe who completely explained the repair process and provided me with a quote. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication and quality of work.I would highly recommend a Collinsville Auto Repair.

This was my first experience with Collinsville Auto as I lost trust recently with my local Jeep dealer service. Collinsville Auto was very professional. They were always available if I had a question and explained my situation on the phone much better than my dealer does. I also liked the fact that everything (appt reminders, quotes, service authorization, comes either by text or email, so there s much less chance of a misunderstanding. They also came in about 10% less than what my dealer would have charged, so I plan to do my service at Collinsville Auto in the future even though it is further away for me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very good service! Provided me with a loaner car which is very convenient. 100,000 mile inspection/ work. Experienced a problem with the 4WD on my 2002 GMC 2500HD diesel not transferring, of course, during the recent snow storm. Jennifer and Joe got me in quickly and much to my relief, it was an electrical issue that was easily fixed. How they found it so quickly speaks to their experience and skill. I ve had Collinsville Auto service many of my vehicles over the past few years! Up front with price and length of service. They do everything right the first time. Routine oil service includes photographs of problem areas. Invoice and billing/payment can be done online! Every time I bring one of my cars in for repair they always send me a report (with photos) of what issues need to be repaired now and any other issues they see upon inspection. I took my vehicle to Collinsville Auto Repair for a second opinion on the problems it was having. The mechanics listened to my concerns and checked out the problems. Although repairs weren t completed (because my old vehicle wasn t worth repairing), I thought they did an excellent job of explaining the issue. A good experice. I made an appointment and wanted to wait for the vehicle. I arrived on time, they took the vehicle into the service bay and began work. Done in under an hour with a wheel rotation added to the oil and filter change. Received a vehicle report with the bill showing the vehicle was in good condition. Professional nice staff. Brought my 2012 Rav4 to Collinsville Auto Repair. They did a lot of work on the vehicle, shocks, tires, coolant system repair, and a lot of other maintenance. This is the second older vehicle that I have brought there in the last year for a complete overview. The other was my 2006 Toyota Sienna. Just got new wipers maybe 3 months ago & one is already damaged, missing the cap and the wiper blade slide half way out. Now I need to fix/get new wiper blades again already. Had this issue a few days after getting the wiper blades but was able to fix as the cap fell off at a gas station - who knows where it is now, probably on the highway somewhere.Also needed some AC work done & they quoted me $1500 & couldn t end up doing it because of the refrigerant that was already in my car, then told me they would have to replace the entire AC system which could cost somewhere in the ballpark of $4000. Dealer had no issue with the refrigerant and fixed the condenser for $1500.

Beyond excellent service. We've been dealing with Collinsville Auto for more than 10 years and never have we once had an issue. They are honest, excellent with diagnostics, they go way above and beyond with their service. Joe, Jen, and Mike are great to deal with. Fair prices, excellent service. They also keep me well apprised of any issues and thoroughly explain the options. Our go to for our autos! This place is awesome. They provided a loaner car while they worked on mine, sent an e-quote after the inspection so I could sign off on repairs, and kept me updated with their messaging system. I appreciate the honest assessment of the issue, and knowing what the best resolution is in repairing the vehicle.I agree with the statement above, as Collinsville Auto has always looked out for my safety.I am retired now (as of April 2022) and need to watch the cost of repair work on my vehicles.I have/had explained to Ron that I have a neighbor who is the Lead mechanic ata garage and who does automotive work on the side.So, alot of this work that is recommended/or suggested by Collinsville Auto is work this neighbor can perform.I am assisting as well, in the menial tasks of a particular repair.As with all of your mechanics, this neighbor is more than qualified to do most if not all the needed repair work.It comes down to COST($$$) and not the reliability part on Collinsville Auto, as you have been reliable and appreciated by me.Not only have vehicle repair costs skyrocketed, but you name it and just about everything has gone up so quickly and well beyond what most people can afford.But in the case of vehicle safety, alot of the recommended services by Collinsville Auto are ones that are examined and not ignored, but ones I can have done at lesser cost.Parts are parts and not always reliable no matter whom has manufactured them.There will be times when this neighbor will tell me if it is something that he would rather not take on due to fact that his facility (personal garage space) is not fully equipped, but only mostly equipped to do most repairs.Maintaining a 20 year old pickup is one that I have a hard time sinking any more $ into.This neighbor mechanic along with you Mike, agrees that there comes a time to let it go and move on.The neighbor is assessing these particular repairs with this vehicle, and has suggested that after certain items are off the checklist; of ones that are needed in keeping myself, and the public safe; to sell the vehicle as there are car people looking for these older trucks who can maintain them themselves.Just wanted to be honest with you at Collinsville Auto.I hope you understand my explanation and know that this message is meant to say anything negative about CollinsvilleAuto.It's come down to; I can only do what I can do...MiguelServices: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Cville auto is great! They are friendly, helpful and do great work. I can always get an appointment faster than other places, and the online car inspection report is so fast and easy! Collinsville Auto Repair has been an asset to me in getting service on my vehicles that either I cannot do with the tools I have or simply don't have the time and need an honest repair shop. I called in to have new tires and an alignment done on my truck and while appointments were almost 1.5 weeks out , they were accommodating and got me in earlier. They completed the tires and alignment as well as got it perfect the first time and at a reasonable price! I have had my other vehicles in for service and have been pleased every time. Hey just a heads up - they probably do good work- but bring your wallet.Joe the service writer was professional and polite- and this is in no way a bad reflection on him, or anyone there- all were super friendly. they also have a cool customer digital experience interface too- text notifications, email invoicing, high resolution pics, etc.The one star here comes from what see as a ridiculously high quote for a rudimentary repair on a Honda accord- a front ball joint-I completely understand charging a diagnosis fee- but I've never heard of being invoiced for the diagnosis should you award the shop the work? $78 for diagnosis- then I get wacked $9 dollars for a pump of grease to test the joint - really? Glad I didn't opt for a water bottle in the waiting room- wonder how much they'd get for that?and then the quote to replace the ball joint- $479-so out the door to replace a front ball joint - almost $650!a genuine honda OEM balljoint over the service counter retail at the local dealer is $150- hard to say what wholesale would be- Maybe $100?maybe the cloud based shop software costs too much? AWS web services aren't cheap i suppose.Again- very nice people, nice atmosphere, no slight on that.Service: General repairs & maintenance
