My experience with Langs Auto Body, located in Brookfield CT, was one of the most frustrating and dissatisfying experiences I have ever had in my life. I had gotten into an accident back in October 2023 and had to have my car fixed through the other party s insurance therefore, I had no choice but to go with Langs. Beginning of January my car went in to get fixed and it took a couple weeks but that wasn t the issue. The issue was there was overspray ALL over my car. A car that I paid for, a car that I STILL AM paying off. I brought the car back to the shop for Bobby to look at it, he claimed he was not sure what is was but they could take care of it on their behalf. I agreed to that and he and my father set up a day and they paid for a rental car for the day, which my father had to ask for. This past Wednesday I brought my car over to langs for the overspray to be removed and I wasn t greeted with the friendliest welcome, and the owner had an attitude when it came to the enterprise employee asking for some sort of payment, that they agreed to because they took fault for the overspray but it still seemed inconvenient and annoying to them. If the job was done right the first time and my paint job/windows/wind visors/mirrors didn t have overspray all over it, I wouldn t have had to be such an inconvenience to them. I picked my car up Thursday (2/15/24) from Langs with my dad. The car looked good but upon further inspection there was still over spray around the edges of the windows, the plastics of the mirrors, window trim, and my wind visors. The owner Al said we could leave the car another day and I told him no, I didn t want them touching it anymore especially after he tried assuring us that his guy took it in 2-3 times to make sure he got all the overspray. That must be a lie because the edges under the windows still had some overspray on them, as well as the plastics of the mirrors and the black window/door trim. I wouldn t be so obsessive over my car if this shop took the right precautions from the beginning. Overall, it was a terrible and frustrating experience and they tried to rectify the issue but the lack of customer service skills and compassion is very evident in their work. I do not recommend Langs or their service.

We have been going to them for years to keep my Subaru cars on the road. I always feel respected as a customer and treated fairly. They are very honest when it comes to what the price and problem is with my car. This shop is great. We've had them do body work and maintenance stuff on our cars. From communication to coordinating rentals, they got you covered.

I went to the shop for an oil change, wheel alignment, and tire rotation. When I picked up the car, it was shaking so much I could not drive the vehicle above 40mph. I returned so they could fix the weights, and they said the wheel was the problem. So for a car I did not have any issues with balance before, I can not drive above 60 mph after I had the service done in the shop. There are plenty of better options in Federal Road

We have had only the most positive experiences with Lang's and highly recommend them. We used them recently (sadly twice) after remembering the great body work they did on my mother's car about 10 years ago. Their customer care is as excellent as the work they have done on our car. Neil has been our contact and we have appreciated his careful and thorough explanations, guidance, fairness and reliability. Highly recommended outfit!

Awesome Customer Service!Al the Owner & Neil the Manager are 2 of the most down to earth people you will ever deal with! They have provided superior Customer Service, they are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and reasonable with their prices.They are an Awesome Body Shop & service shop as well. I've been coming to this mechanic shop in Brookfield, CT for some time now. Both my brother and I bring our vehicles here for repair. They have always gotten the repairs done quickly and gotten our trucks back to us, in a very timely manor. Very friendly and personable people. I would definitly recommend this shop and group of people to anyone in need of vehicle repair. Oh, and for the record, I feel their prices are very reasonable. I have no trouble with these guys and trust them with my truck.Services: Electrical, Oil change

All I can say is avoid them. They don t take information from customer and instead replace the most expensive parts that don t need to be replaced and even with that poorly performing simple jobs. Once paid I tried to discuss with them but no reply. In addition recently started servicing vehicle (oil change) myself and found broken bolts and missing oil drain cover. It s too bad they talk a good talk but obviously don t get it . I would advise any customers to second guess work needed and unfortunately double check work they do. Live and lean unfortunately.

Lang s is awesome! I had an issue with my cars alarm going off while I was driving and had no idea how to turn it off. I work next to Lang s so drove over and a wonderful gentleman came out and helped me get it to stop! Super kind and generous. Very appreciative. Lang s is real deal folks! Thank you!

I had great service with Langs auto!! Beginning to end I was kept up to date on the status and progress of my repair. Parts were there incredibly fast

Ive been dealing with Langs for many years now. Dave and the rest of the crew have always treated me very fair and they have been very honest. There repair costs are always less than there local competitors. I would and always do recommend them to people.

My family and I have been coming here for years. They are quick to take you in an emergency, their prices are on par with other reputable mechanics and auto body shops and I have never had a problem with their work. Highly recommended!

Always great service from Langs!! They've towed my cars in the past and have always been on time and charge a fair rate. I've also have had a couple of my cars and trucks fixed by langs and they've always done a great job and they did it quick..

On Thursday 10/22/15 - my car started to give me trouble on 84 West - I exited off of Exit 10 for Sandy Hook NewTown Ct. and my Chevrolet Road Side Assistance sent one of your tow truck drivers to to the Mobil Station on Main St. in Sandy Hook. He was very polite and accommodating. It can be very scary being in a strange location getting your car towed and this young man was very helpful and nice.

As a regular customer since Al moved to his present location years ago I have been impressed with their ability to diagnose and fix problems correctly the first time. Estimates of cost and time are always accurate. Highly recommended.

The guys at Lang's are good mechanics and very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They are also across the street from where I work which makes it quite convenient.

This place is a rip off, don't bring your car here,they over charge for parts and service.don't believe, compare prices yourself, if they can take your money they will.
