Got my transmission rebuilt here last year, gave me a warranty. I brought it back to have the leak fixed, and he was really rough around the edges with me, like it was my fault it was leaking. Had to plug multiple leaks since then. Another leak was discovered recently, again. I wouldn't recommend you let this guy fix your toilet seat.

I've used them in the past they did a excellent job on my transmission very knowledgeable. Recently I just got worked done from them again for bad u joint that caused my housing to Crack they fixed that problem. I picked up the truck but I had a wicked vibration so I took it back the same day told Mike about the issues I was having he took for test drive and said it was front end. Right there I knew it seems like he didn't want nothing to do with this truck anymore. So I took my truck to another mechanic he took for a test drive come to find out it my drive shaft u joint was bad that causing the vibration now I just dish out another $440 that economy should've picked up on.Service: Transmission

This Mike guy called me said I needed tank straps I said ok . Then he I stalls my used gas tank I never told him to install ( it was I. The back of my truck) my truck was out of gas I had no vehicle ,they told me I had to bring gas with me even if I had to walk , then when I'm home I hear a noise a emissions hose was not connected then I found they broke a piece on my tank the vent hose connector my check engine light turns on . Then I tell him he tells me to fix it myself . He never told me something was broke just installed it anyway, 18,000$ car and he rigged it with like a 2 year old who knows nothing cuz it immediately fell off and did t work

My first experience was very pleasant working with them. They didn't over charge like most garages, fixed what I asked without saying other things needed to also be fixed. They double checked to see if I wanted my old parts. Communication was great and Nicole did a wonderful job taking calls and working with me. My SUV feels great! I really appreciate you guys. I will be recommending you to everyone I know!

Hade another garage try to replace my starter and broke both bolts off in the transmission and told me he couldn't fix it and the only way would be to replace the transmission. I had my truck towed to economy and the were able to extract the bolts and replace the starter I will recommend this place to everyone

I went to Crowley dodge in bristol to have the transmission checked and they said its no good 6000.00 to replace! Then i took the truck to economy and they took great care of me found the issue, radiator hose clamp was loose and made truck go into limp mode ,LOW COOLANT! tightening a hose clamp and added coolant ,FIXED! TRANSMISSION HAS NO ISSUES AT ALL, I HAD THEM SERVICE MY 2014 PROMASTER 1500 TRANSMISSION FOR AROUND 200.00 AND I DID IT JUST BECAUSE IT WAS THERE! VERY HONEST SHOP!! UNDER 250.00 COMPARED TO 6000.00 AT CROWLEY DODGE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! THANKS GUYS! DEAN WHITE

Mike and his staff are AMAZING and HONEST!!!. I brought my car there for transmission issues. Mike did his best to troubleshoot/identify if the issue was a sensor and from having to avoid purchasing a used transmission. After determining it was not a sensor and indeed needing a transmission, Mike quoted me 2600 on a used transmission. A local shop and previously quoted 6k on a used transmission and did not go to the length that Mike did to research the root cause beforehand. This is the only mechanic in Bristol that I trust. My car randomly leaked out every drop of coolant overnight. I brought it down to the shop this morning and within a couple hours they had it up on a lift and diagnosed. I had no appointment, and they were busy when I dropped it off. The repair will be done as soon as the part gets in which will be the next day. They re a really reliable shop that won t lie to you, they re timely, and the prices are probably the best around for a professional shop. I won t go back to a dealership ever again for a repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was recommended to go here for my son's car. The mechanic we usually use doesn't specialize in transmissions. We called ahead to see if we could drop off the vehicle for an estimate. They said to bring it on in and would look at it when they had a chance. We specifically wanted a particular part looked at so we could determine if the whole thing needed replacing or just the one part. When they called us to give us the estimate, they said the mechanic didn't actually look at the part we had requested because he believes that it has failed too. The icing on the cake was they wanted to charge us over $200 for the estimate!!!! We were never informed of an estimate charge (who charges for an estimate anyways?!?) and the mechanic even said he didn't look at the part we had brought the vehicle in for to begin with!When we called and showed up to discuss this, the mechanic was very rude to my son, yelling at him and not letting him speak. We were both very intimidated by his bullying behavior. We both felt taken advantage of because I'm a woman and my son is "just a kid".I will never use or recommend a business that is run on misogyny.Service: Transmission

The only place I trust with my car. They do great work and have very fair pricing. I m not much of a car person so it s nice to have a place I can bring my car where they won t try to take advantage of that. Honest, great work.

I have brought my car here so many times I've lost count and will continue to bring my car here every time I need a repair. These guys are good at what they do and they stay honest & fair while doing it. I've never felt misled or ripped off after driving away.

These guys have a nice operation going. Seemed like they were really busy when I picked my car up.They took the time to patiently break down and explain the required repairs - and weren't pushy about it.My only complaint, and the only reason I can't rate them at 5 stars, is that it took almost a week to get my vehicle back.It was also nice that they gave me a 12,000 mile 12 month warranty on all the parts they put in. And their part prices seemed very fair, no big markups.

Nice people, but one of the techs/mechanics overfilled my transmission and it started leaking. Thought there was a crack or some issue but it ended up just being too much fluid. Other than that they seem nice and fair.

I go to Economy for everything. They never fail me. Mike and Dave always greet me with a smile. They do what needs to be for a fair price. They are very helpful and informative.
