You can t put a price tag on the peace of mind that comes from working with trustworthy and genuine people. Having worked directly with both John and Don, I quite simply could not recommend them enough. Not only were they kind and compassionate about my time sensitive needs but, more importantly, it was immediately apparent that they were incredibly adept in all things automotive. The garage is absolutely immaculate and the attention to detail is astounding. Photos, detailing, vehicle history, mechanics . Quite literally everything you may need is handled and in an enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner. Black Horse Garage, John, and Don will not disappoint.

I bought an Alfa Romeo 4C on consignment from Black Horse. I live across the country in Utah, but they provided an excellent experience despite the distance. Communication was typically prompt (they always get back within the business day). Paperwork process is easy and they shipped the title to me next day FedEx. They worked with the owner to find a deal we were both happy with. They are also happy to host an inspector at their garage and get the car up on a lift for a thorough go around. The car arrived in great shape and I couldn t be happier with it.

For years I have been searching for the perfect muscle car, when I found an Ebay listing for a 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, then watched the video I fell in love! I called and spoke with John and made an appointment to drive the 2.5 hrs to check the car out, when I arrived I was greeted by Matt, a great guy that showed me the car then took me on a tour of their amazing facility. After an extensive test drive I bought the car on the spot! Seeing that I purchased it in December (2017) I have not really been able to enjoy the car until lately, and when I do I always get complements from complete strangers and its always pretty cool when at a stop light I look in the rear view mirror and see someone using their cell phone to take a photo of the car. I can't say enough great things about John, Matt and the rest if the people at Black Horse Garage, true professionals and artists....... Thank you!

Terrific place! I stored my car over the winter it was like dropping it off at a museum for safekeeping. It s great to find a place run by enthusiasts who give great service. The prices are fair and they are very accommodating. They re also expanding and offering more services and experiences. I can t wait to see what else facility will have in the coming years.

I stored my car at Black Horse for the winter months. It s a beautiful and secure climate controlled facility. John, Dori and the staff were great to do business with. I am definitely using them again and highly recommend.

I took a tour of Blackhorse and met the owner and several of his team members. What an impressive place! If you love cars and are interested in buying something amazing knowing you will have top notch support, you have to check this place out!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! BE CAREFUL!!! Purchased a vehicle that they consigned on Bring a Trailer and i didn't get my title done for more than 6 months because of their unprofessional ways.I needed a simple letter stating that Black Horse was authorized to sell the vehicle on behalf of the owner in order to Title the car. They dodged my phone calls and would never deliver on the paperwork and the only way to get in contact with them after numerous emails and phone calls that led to nowhere was to say i was interested in a car they were selling. The moment they noticed it was me they started with the song and dance . Poor secretary was barely working there for a couple weeks and had to deal with this mismanagement (She's no longer there and they moved location)SKETTCHYYY .I had to involve legal ways to make them move if not i would still be waiting. In the end i had to track down the previous owner myself to get things done. Total Shame and waste of my time for something so simple . All worked out but it was a nightmare situation to have a car with no title . You would think after so many years in Business they would know what they were doing.

Wow, these guys are excellent!. I bought a 27 year old mid-engine sports car with only 9800 original miles and they recommissioned the car including engine-out service, full systems refresh, brake lines, a/c, tires, fluid changes and a complete detail and leather reconditioning. It's like driving out of the showroom in 1993! Knowledgeable, fair and honest. Highly recommend.

Black Horse Garage was recommended to me when I took my thirty-plus year old vehicle to a service center that was honest enough to tell me they didn't have the necessary tools or know-how to perform the work it required. Scott, Don, and Lou at Black Horse have been pleasant to deal with, but when I had to have my vehicle towed back in because the carburetor they'd rebuilt for me less than six months ago was leaking fuel all over the top of my engine and the distributor they'd replaced was no longer sending enough charge to start the car, they insisted on pressing me about who else had performed repairs on the vehicle since I'd last been in. I explained that I'd had to pay for an engine diagnostic in addition to the sixty-mile tow to their shop. So they charged me $300 (less a 10% "Customer Appreciation" discount) to put the distributor back together and advance the timing (a band-aid fix I've paid neighborhood mechanics for in the past). Still having the same issues which I've now discovered are caused by the carb loading up due to a kinked fuel line their invoice says they corrected as well as the idle and solenoid sensors the same invoice says they disconnected rather than providing a thorough and honest diagnosis that included the possibility of my onboard computer malfunctioning (work I would have been happy to pay to have them complete). They charged me three times what I'd paid to have the carb rebuilt previously only to tell me when I picked it up that I should bring it back to have "the rest of the emissions equipment reconnected" which had been done with the first rebuild at no additional cost. I went to Black Horse Garage expecting five-star service and willing to pay for it but have instead received incredulity at wanting to know how much repairs will cost and when my car will be ready in addition to the vehicle requiring sensors they deactivated to be reconnected as well as further diagnosis. This is a high-end shop, and I respect that, but my money is as green as anyone else's. I would recommend Black Horse but only if you are willing to pay for their $400+ diagnosis and have a blank check and several weeks to wait for whatever the vehicle needs. I prefer not to write reviews like this but I remain thoroughly disappointed under the circumstances.

Recently I emailed Black horse bull bar and asked a simple question here it is I have Black Horse bully bar that I had on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline and it is in excellent shape. I wanted to know if it would fit my 2019 Honda Ridgeline and if not was there a conversion kit. Three e mails later no reply. This speak volumes about Black Horse customer service. They make a quality product but customer service could use work. I see others have had a problem with this company will not buy from them again

This is the playground and spa of dream rides. They are so efficient, enthusiastic, and professional and did a ridiculously good restoration of my Volkswagen that some else had made a mess of. Do a virtual tour online and see the amazing collection or take your prized vehicles there for the very best work and care.

I had extensive work done by Black Horse and was impressed by the quality of the work. I had an XK engine redone, brake work, body work and other mechanical work performed. Repairs all to the highest standard, I owned a few Jaguars ... Mark 1, XK 140 and a Mk 2 . I highly recommend this expert.

I had my 1969 911 exterior redone in 2018 including some metal work to remove rust along the rear rockers. Within a year, one area near the driver side window kept bubbling under the paint (circled). Within 2 years, other bubbles started to appear in various locations on the car. I took this car to a Porsche specialist because John the owner wouldn't return calls.What I've learned is that moisture was penetrating along the weld lines and causing the paint to bubble from behind. The only solution is to re-weld the seams so they're solid rather than pock marked and repaint the entire car. None of the work Black Horse did was usable, so it was a complete waste of A LOT of money. No reason to use their mechanical services if this is an indication of their restoration work.Follow up: John did contact me saying the work is only as good as the staffed team. I suppose as the owner, he was trying to save his garage s reputation, which shown by the work and the follow-up amounts to nothing.
