My scheduled service for a regular oil change, tire rotation, and battery check at 10:00 AM turned into a frustrating ordeal at this autocare center. Despite approving additional services promptly, technicians wasted time on their phones and chatting amongst themselves. Despite a simple task remaining, they made me wait a staggering 3.5 hours. This blatant disregard for customers' time is unacceptable. Even after completing the service, they failed to notify me promptly, leaving my car sitting outside until I reached out to them at 1:15 PM. It's evident they lack respect for customers' schedules and need to prioritize efficiency and professionalism. Proceed with caution if considering their services.

Excellent customer service. I d like to personally recognize 2 staff members, Elijah and Jose, both professional and pleasant. I came in an hour before closing on a Friday night and I did not at all feel rushed. It was such a better experience than any dealings I ve had in the past at other car service places. I would recommend Firestone to others and would definitely return for service needs.

That has to be the best visit to a mechanic I have ever had. The moment I walk in get my alignment done. I bought the lifetime a few months ago and it paid off. I really appreciate the people who helped me out. My wife was really tired and she needed some rest and they completed everything less than 40minutes from the time I gave the key till they handed them back to me when completed. Amazing job and service. Awesome thanks . I definitely would recommend them to go to for 5 STAR SERVICE

I got a flat tire and was towed to this shop late at night. The tow truck driver told me he dropped my key in their mail slot. When I called them in the morning they were insistent that they didn t have my key. I was forced to borrow a car and drive 2 hours round trip to get my spare key. When I returned they told me they had my key all along! So I drove all that way for nothing. Then they told me they d have my car done in 1.5-2 hours. When I came back over 2 hours later they hadn t even started my car yet. It took another hour after that to get it done. This cost me so many hours of my life due to incompetence and poor service. Would not recommend.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Had an appointment, dropped the car off in the morning, and had no phone call all day. I called 1/2hour before closing, only then to be told they just got approval to do the work. Basically, they didn't call the fleet company until I called inquiring about my vehicle (company confirmed time of call and approval) thinking it was gonna be ok to keep the car overnight as if I didn't have to work the following day how about a phone call during the day to say they where waiting for approval (which they weren't) in which case I could call to push it along.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Husband had an apt for 10a, dropped the car off shortly after 9a, knowing they closed at 5p, I asked if he called to see what was going on, and while on hold he was told they "finally" got the approval for the brakes from fleet, and could have the brakes done 1st thing in the morning, he travels for work, and will be away all next week and needs the car to drive to his destination. So needless to say brakes were not done, the guy on the phone said he doesn't recommend driving the vehicle well news flash asshat he has no choice, if the vehicle was service during his 10am appt time it would've been done well before 5p. This will be the last time his car goes there, and save yourself the aggravation and take it somewhere else. Ohh and he called fleet and asked when firestone called to get the approval, and he said the call came in at 4:27p and was approved at 4:33p....all while my husband waited on hold. Worst place ever.

I had to schedule an appointment to have a tire repaired, and even though I arrived on time, I still had to wait an additional 20 minutes or so because the techs were "backed up." I'm not upset, though, because once they got my car in, they completed the fix quickly and effectively. I'll be happy to consider this Firestone location should I need any additional work.

Staff was friendly, prompt and experienced. The tire recommendations were solid and I am very happy so far with new tires. I also appreciated the full service options available at the same time. Entire service was timely as well.

These guys are great at making you think you need something done, I.E. brakes when in reality, they are just trying to make a sale.Good for a quick oil change, outside of that get a second opinion.

Excellent customer service; the manager took the time to explain what the car needed for repairs and how long the process would take. Staff was very pleasant every time we spoke over the phone and in person.

This location is incredibly honest, and the store manager Mike is always so helpful and cares about his customers. My wife needed an oil change on her mother's birthday, and we had a sudden trip the next day. Unfortunately, as he inspected the car, he had found that we needed new brake pads, and one caliper had seized up. Thank God he had discovered this before our trip because we would have had no clue what could have happened. If you ever need a mechanic, you can trust this is the place to go.

I made an appointment to have my tire patched since I ran over an office staple and they claim they could not find it even though I checked that it was still there when I pulled in and let them know at the desk that there was a staple in the tire. I also expressed I was on my lunch break when I originally made the appointment and when I got in. Not only did they say they couldn t find it but they wanted change two of my brand new tires and charge me for two new tires and I do not believe that I was given good service here. Don t go here go to Express Tire And Auto Repair Of Branford because they don t rip you off.Update: I went right to Express Tire And Auto Repair Of Branford right after Firestone and they helped me out right away knowing I was on my lunch break. Charlie was able to take my tire off, patch of the staple hole and it was fixed. Tony was extremely helpful and compassionate. Give your business here, they care and don t lie to you.

Came once for an oil change and it was great service, came back after making a reservation, waited for an hour, saw them work on a reservation that came after me, and told me they were almost done when I asked for my keys back. They had not even started yet, my car was in the lot. Jiffy Lube is down the road

Sat there for 4 hours for a tire plug service that had already been done by them 2 days prior (didn't do it right the first time!). They then had the audacity to play victim when I complained about the fact that they fixed the wrong tire during that (second) 4 hour wait. I guess you shouldn't interrupt them when they're sitting on their phone in the corner.

I went to Firestone after contacting them about patching one of the tires on my vehicle. Over the phone, they said they were able to take it quickly and take a look at it.When the car was taken in, the individual checking out the vehicle had a problem locating where the nail/screw was in. I walked into the shop and showed the person where it was on the tire. After locating it, the person told me that it was not repairable due to its location, which was not true because it was in the mid right of the tire, not on the sides. After recommending buying a new tire, I informed them that I would take the car as is.When the person gave me the car back, I went home and noticed my cap was missing on the valve of the tire. I called and went back to the place to get it back. After arriving, the individual working behind the counter showed me plenty of caps that seemed to be left or used, and none of them were correct. I informed him of this, and he went to check to see if I was left somewhere else. He brought me back a similar, but used cap on my car. I informed him again that it was not the correct one. After this, the individual turned around briefly and grabbed the correct one from around the counter area. It was already there and he just didn t show me it.In conclusion, I ended up going to another tire repair shop where they patched the tire with no problem whatsoever. I am really disappointed as I wasted around 2 hours of my time going back and forth and the problem was not solved. I expected better from Firestone but I surely will not be going back anytime soon.Service: Tires

I do not enjoy leaving bad reviews on places but I feel as though I have a responsibility to warn people. A lot of the techs here are entry level, which isn t a terrible thing but you should be prepared for the work to reflect that. One of the times we went here the lugnuts were tightened so much it was virtually impossible to take them off. Even with a super long breaker bar with a cheater it was impossible, truly impressive. Another time the cars front end completely fell apart but the damaged brakes were not replaced. If you need a basic set of tires put on this place may be a good option, but beware please.

Goes through employees quicker than McDonald's. Had a screw in my tire they said it was on side of tire clearly wasn't I just plugged it. Also heard them trying to screw an elder lady telling her vehicle was not drivable.she called her mechanic she told them put water in it and she drove off happily after a 3 hour oil change

Originally, they ordered the wrong part for my door. It took 3 visits to get this right. That took like 9 hours of my time when I had an appointment originally... Next time, I got an oil change and paid for my tires to be rotated. I realized too late that they didn't rotate my tires. I went somewhere else to get new tires, but there were issues there removing my tires. So, I went back here and had them put new tires on my car. They did a good job putting tires on my car. I asked them about my brakes, and they said they needed to be changed with my next oil change. 5 days later, my calipers locked up, and it cost me $1600 dollars to fix my car.

Best place to get tires at a reasonable price.

Stopped here for a quick oil change. They found a few other issues and let me know exactly what they were and what parts are needed. Excellent service. My only issue here is their labor charges. I look at the price of the parts, and with labor, it doubles the price. If the labor wasn't so overly expensive, this would be my go-to.

Pretty ridiculous to spend 4.5 hours in a waiting room with nothing but infomercials on the TV.Had a flat tire leaving a gig at 1230 a.m. Friday night. Saturday morning Had the car towed to this Firestone Location on Branford Hill. Guy inside asked for the vehicle make, model, and year, and I verified the tire size is a 225/45/R17. He told me they needed to order it from another store, and that it would be a long wait, possibly til 430 p.m. (I arrived there at 10 a.m.). Dude behind the counter never actually went out to check the car or the flat tire model/size/etc.At 1:00, the tire arrived and I watched my car driven into the bay. The employee (I hesitate to call him a mechanic or technician) took the new tire over, and started squawking to the other employees about dude behind the counter not knowing what he was doing and being generally incompetent (I was right outside having a puff). He went inside, grabbed a tire off the wall display, and proceeded to replace my flat. The car was driven out at 1:50. I finally left at 2:30 after everything was paid for.If he had only gone out to the car to verify everything, it would have been a much quicker experience and the star rating would be a bit different. But I had to cancel my appearance at another gig for 2pm, and that cost me money, on top of the money I already had to unexpectedly spend on a new tire.

Brought my tire in to to have a some road debris removed on a Sunday morning at 8am without an appointment. I was back on the road at 9. The Branford shop is clean and well lit and uncluttered, with a pleasant and professional crew, from the front desk to the garage.
