Great family owned business. Butch's motto is "putting back trustworthy in automotive" and he definitely sticks by it. Went in due to my brakes being mushy and an oil changed and he only charged me for an oil change and said my breaks were fine and at 65%. He's the real deal and truly is not in it for a money grab.

Butch is a rare gem nowadays, he is one of the most trustworthy people that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He was able to not only fix the many problems with my car, he was also able to go back and double check (and fix) the faulty work that my previous "mechanic" "did".

Terrible place understaffed had to take my truck back multiple times. Messed up the fuel pump. Just had the fuel pump installed and it work for maybe 5 months. Also installed my brake hose to the caliper wrong. Also my facts are real you install the passenger brake hose on the driver side. Shows great experience they... Also had to take my truck back to you two days after you installed my fuel pump that wasn't installed right. You claimed to have fixed it. And of course you didn't. And of course you'll blame the part . Also gave you two brake hoses which you only installed one.. Again on wrong side... What great service......

Butch is the most honest mechanic you will find! He does not inflate the amount of work needed and is so reasonably priced! He is a hard working good man and always looks out for his customers. I have gone to him for over 25 years and recommend him to everyone!

I Highly recommend Butch s Main Street. They are very honest and do an excellent job. Even if you don t live in Branford it s worth the drive for real service at an honest price, and you can be confident that the job has been done right. We have taken our cars there for years, and never been disappointed

Doesn t get any better than Butch s. Fair, honest, and quick. We ve been fans for over 25 years. Would never think to bring our cars anywhere else. We ve also purchased a few cars from him. He ll never steer you wrong.

Butch's Main Street Automotive has been a part of Branford's Main street for many years. They are small Mom and Pop repair shop. Butch knows how to fix cars, it's has been his job his entire life, it's what he knows like the back of his hand! Honest, quick, friendly and a town resident for many years as well. They are within minutes off of the Walmart exit or easy access from the Cedar Street exit. I would highly recommend bringing your cars to him for service!

I have been going to Butch's on a regular basis. Butch is a very accomplished and extremely fair and honest mechanic and a true professional. Recently, I had a noise coming from my A/C compressor. I thought the compressor would have to be replaced which would run $300-500. Instead, Butch diagnosed the problem as an Idler pulley so instead my bill was less than 1/3 of what it would have been if he didn't take the time to figure out what the problem truly as. As a result, I highly recommend him. If you are looking for a quality mechanic (that knows what he is doing) that is also fair and honest, look no further.Tony Pontecorvo, Branford, CT

Great service, fair prices and a trust that the job will be done correctly, have used other garages including dealership but now use Butch's for everything from routine maintenance to major repairs (and no this is not a paid review, just a very pleased customer!)
