Went in to have the battery and alternator checked. Guy behind the desk said the guy just left. Ok when will he be back? A little bit what does that mean? He said try the auto zone across the street. Will do and never going back to advance auto parts again. Thanks for the referral to your competitor.

Excellent customer service. Original purchase at Old Saybrook store. The service there was poor but the guys at Branford store corrected the problem that Old Saybrook created. I have already told folks to use Advanced in Branford.

Customer service was terrible.And when I was finally assisted, they sold me the wrong part, even after confirming what make and model of the vehicle the part was for.Never again.

Very helpful staff. The employee who rang me out also helped me find the right filter and wiper blades for my car and then offered to put the wipers on my car before I left. Super helpful and extra courteous.

Lazy staff, very unprofessional.I'm a travel nurse who returns packages in all states. This store is the only store that I attempted to return, which refused to take my return with a prepaid label on it.

I will never come back here! Worst service ever from a young man named Antonio. He was lazy and rude. Didn't want to double check a part that was purchased online. When asked if it was the right part he responded "I don't know it's whatever you ordered!" In result I took home the wrong part and had to come back where he then gave me a even nastier attitude and began to tell customers after me that he is dealing with a situation insinuating I was the situation. I have never in my life been treated in such a horrible way. Don't go to brandford location especially if Antonio is working.

Came to pick up an online order and was greeted by a worker who said he d be with me in a few minutes (store was empty). When he was ready he asked the name of the order which I had to repeat 4 times and he seemed irritated I had to pick something up. Asked what the order was with an attitude and finally figured it out even though the order was tied to the name I already gave him. The whole time he was having a phone conversation on his AirPods and dropping racial slurs and profanities like it was normal to do at work/in public. Also purchased another item that was buy one get one 50% off and when I asked if it came up 50% he said yea look and pointed to his computer while all that is visible to the customer is a pin pad that didn t show the price or items. After the transaction was done he gave me my receipt and said ight and walked away. To top it all of he was NOT WEARING A MASK at all which is required to even enter the store. Only reason it s 2 stars and not 1 is because they had what I needed. Poor management to be letting employees act like that and have personal conversations while taking care of customers and breaking a state law in the process.

Avoid this place. Sales guy never bothered to tell me there were two grades of the item I needed, didn't even try to upsell me, just quoted me the more expensive one. Then he had no idea what another item was (it was in stock) much less where to find it. I stood around waiting for him to get assistance until he finally asked me, "do you still want that?" After I showed him the item on the Auto Zone web site, he finally managed to find it. The absolute antithesis of customer service.

This place has to have the worst customer service EVER. They steal peoples money. Go to auto-zone they are friendly. They are legit across the street, you can see them while standing at this trash store.

I had the best experience working with Carlos at advanced auto in Branford! I thought I needed a new battery. I went to advanced auto in north haven earlier that day and the women there supposedly had tested my battery and said it was bad and tried selling me a $220 battery. I went to the branford location for a second opinion and Carlos did a full complete test and showed me that my battery currently in my car was actually brand new! He was very honest and informative!! I will never go to the north haven location again. Very dishonest there!

Sean and Brendon rescued us when our windshield wipers failed. They got us the right size for the right price and installed them with a smile late on a Sunday night. Thanks Guys !

Staff is most helpful and goes the extra step to help. Unfortunately the back end ordering system seems to have few problems. Multiple times what got delivered was not what was ordered or in right quantity. But front of house service wins out over that inconvenience.

If I could give a zero I would, ordered online told 30 mins. part would be ready, got there 35 mins later and they have not yet began to look for it, after 15 mins was told sorry not in stock even though the web site said it was and charged my CC. very poorly run. Will not use them again.

I counted on their promise to have the product there the next day and was disappointed. Had to wait in line to be disappointed because cashier was busy cross selling and then could not ring up correct price.

I have spent way more at advance then I'll admit. But at this store in particular in the many times I've been in here most, not all of the employees are rude and short for no reason while also just not paying attention when someone comes in.

Easy online order and pick up curbside in under a half hour. Free wiper install is a nice bonus too

Manager joseph is a great person great consultant very experienced any time am in a jam working in my cars he sells me exactly what i need and my repairs happen to be affordable and time effective
