If you need car repairs and want quality work, by honest people, I recommend you see Lenny at Kensington Auto.He has been in business for almost 40 years. I know he and his staff works hard to fix vehicles in a timely manner, while striving to fix it right the first time.He does not engage in scare tactics but will try to educate you as to the situation so you can make an informed decision regarding your vehicle's repair needs.He stands behind the work his shop does and is an active member in the community.The shop is very well equipped, and he keeps his staff up to date on the latest technologies in the automotive world.I have sent a lot of people to this shop (including family & friends) and haven't had anyone come back to me to complain. The prices may seem a little high at times, but you get what you pay for in this world...They do good work and Lenny stands behind it 100%...All part of being Berlin s number 1 repair center.Last time in, I took one of my vehicles there to go through emissions - Jenn took care of my car for me and was helpful. Friendly, fast, and honest! Kensington cost 1/7 of the price Pep Boys quoted me, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Always a fantastic shop to deal with.

I started coming here several years ago because my stepfather came with his vehicles and he was very picky about who worked on his car. I feel that lenny & justin are very hard working and honest. I wouldnt go anywhere else very pleased.

Plain rude! Despite having scheduled an appointment, I had to endure waiting while observing a girl eat her McDonald's. Even after she acknowledged my presence upon entering, it took a considerable amount of time for someone to attend to me. The overall attitude during my visit was unpleasant, and I have no intention of returning. This falls short of acceptable service standards.

Highly recommend. I brought my vehicle down there today because I was hearing a grinding noise when I accelerated and turned right. Lenny quickly took the time to jump into my vehicle and take it for a test drive so he can hear the noise for himself. They then put my vehicle up on the lift and within 5min was able to spot the issue and repair it. They just earned ALL my future business.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair

My car went in for a Spring Check-up and oil change before a weekend trip to The Cape. Justin was kind enough to get me in when they had a tight schedule. When I went in to pick up the car, he noted that one of my tires needed replacement ASAP. I was able to replace the tire before my trip. Lenny and Justin have performed a number of repairs for us on our pickup truck and car. They are always professional, accommodating, and we have never had to take a vehicle back for the same issue after it has been repaired. My car window wouldn't shut and we were expecting storms. Called the shop and they completely understood the urgency and got me in at 1pm. They called their parts shop and had them drive the part right away. A few hours later, my car was disinfected with a fresh clean window and a new part. Nice group of guys, very honest and personable.

trash customer service literally kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain to him what s wrong with my car. completely rude and unprofessional the type of mechanic to probably only fix your car well enough to keep you going back and spending your money. go literally anywhere else

We have been bringing our three vehicles to Kensington Auto for more than 16 years. Lenny, Justin and the staff have always treated us well. Their work is done professionally and they stand behind what they do. Automobile work is usually expensive and needs to be done right....they get it done right with a customer and cost efficiency focus. Pleasure to do business with you!

Was able to get my car in quickly to have a major oil leak fixed, once it was fixed they had me come in a few days later to confirm all the leaks were taken care of, unfortunately there were 2 other minor leaks that had not been seen initially due to the undercarriage being covered in oil. I spoke with the owner about the other leaks and he was very honest and advised me on which leak is the most important to fix at this time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend having your car serviced here!

We have been bringing all of our cars to Kensington Auto for at least the past decade. And I have to say that this is a shop you can trust. We brought our car in last week for some service and got a call this morning that they accidently over charged us, and wanted to give us a refund. I am happy to say they now have customers for life!

Kensington Auto has ALWAYS done an exceptional job with all of my auto repairs. I have never been pressured into doing any unnecessary repairs. The techs and employees are all friendly and I feel comfortable leaving my car with them knowing the job will be done right the first time and at competitive prices.

Lenny and his staff have always given prompt courteous service at very reasonable price.I was servicing my Toyota at the the dealership but found their prices going through the roof.I went to them to price replacing the cars catalytic converter. They did a great job at 1/3 the price thatI was being quoted from Toyota. From that time I have had Kensington Auto Services do all the work onmy car.

I have been bringing my car there for as long as I can remember. I have had my Nissan for ov 10 years and it still runs great and the work the guys have done on it has played a part in that. I always get honest estimates and timely repairs done there.mi would recommend them to anyone in town.

Justin Is always very helpful with any repair or service we bring our vehicles in for. I trust few people when it comes to my vehicles though I never hesitate to recommend Kensington Auto. I can say without a doubt I would trust Kensington Auto over ANY Dealer Service Center. Every recommendation they have made I have found to be true and consistent. Kensington auto is the place to go!

I did the oil change here. They said they used fully synthetic oil. And it is 3times more expensive than I chaged basic oil in my dealer before. The finest thing is my girl friend just said today, you said you just change the oil, but why the engine sounds even loudly today? It is so weird See she also found it, not only myself! Every time I changed oil through the dealer the engine will becomes to quite, but this time. Why I am do it here? I made the emission test and want to save time. Obviously, they are not good service provider or not honest one. You come, you deserve it.

Took my Trailblazer in to Kensington Auto because we noticed a small oil leak. They said it was the rear main seal so we had them repair it. Got the vehicle back and we were still seeing oil drips in our driveway, so the shop took it in and repaired it without charging us. We still noticed it was leaking and the shop said it might just be spilled fluid from the repair. So we took the car in for the next oil change and asked them to look at the same leak which they repaired. He told us it was not the rear main seal leaking anymore but now the transmission is leaking. They charged us $25 to look at the leak and put leak detecting dye, even though this was a result of the repair they performed. Justin told me they would have to remove the transmission to see what was leaking and that it was probably the transmission pump. He quoted us $1000 just to take the transmission off and look at it. Why are you charging me when you removed the transmission to fix my rear main seal and the transmission wasn't leaking before I brought you our vehicle? He didn't want to hear it and said to bring it in in a few days. Well I decided to have my mechanic friend look at it and he agreed it was Kensington Autos fault if the transmission is leaking, and they probably tore the torque converter seal. After that I power washed the fluid under the vehicle to see if it was just residual fluid from a sloppy repair and hoping that's the case since I haven't seen a leak in a few days. If it is still leaking and the shop doesn't agree to fix it at no cost, we will have our lawyer get involved. Either way, I will not recommend this shop to anyone, nor will we take our vehicles to Kensington Auto ever again.

Went here for a transmission oil change. A couple of hours later I received a call saying my transmission wasn't shifting properly after oil change was performed. I was quoted $2800 for a used transmission. Couldn't even make it home that's how bad the transmission was slipping after they change the oil. So frustrating because everything was working fine before. After paying them for their work and tow bill, now I also need a new transmission. Will never come here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I went in for routine emissions testing. Failed as I knew I would. They did the repairs in a day and got me passed. Prices were spot on with what I have seen in the area. Everyone there is friendly and professional.
