These guys I tell ya .. I save money by getting repairs done at there shop. Truthful and professional I mean how many auto repair shops tell you to take parts back to the store because they fixed it without needing all the new parts. Literally saved over $1000 bucks. They could of taken all the parts and did more work just to make more profit for themselves and I would have been none the wiser, but they took the high road! Done right the first time and save money ~ no brainer!

This is my first time there, but certainly won t be my last. I got a flat Wednesday (changed it myself. Please hold your applause) and ordered two new tires online (my current tires only have 12k on them, so wasn t necessary to get 4 new ones). They came in late Thursday. Friday afternoon I tried 4 places that were all busy. Stopped at Sardo s as my 5th stop, at 430pm, and they squeezed me in. The tire change fee was the lowest I ve paid at any place, and they were so pleasant and kind. I heard them on the phone to some customers and they explained everything thoroughly and with patience. Very appreciative of their kindness and help!

Sardo's has been servicing and or repairing my personal and business vehicles for many years with no issues. Mike is always very helpful and makes sure to tell me when something should be done. Since I run a busy small business and always have somewhere to be, they get me right in when I call and out usually within a half hour(oil change) This has to be done almost monthly due to the mileage from driving all over CT each day. I'm very grateful to have a great repair shop I can always rely on. Thanks Mike and the rest of the crew over there, excellent service everytime!

We have been a customer of Sardo's since Paul started the business many years ago. Since we still bring our car there you can understand how pleased we have always been with their service. They are courteous and prompt with any repairs we have needed during those many years. We would and did recommend our friends anyone to use this service.We would rate this service five stars.

My car was overheating and Sardos took me right in promising to work on the car the next business day. Engine oil cooler was leaking. Dealer said 4-6 weeks and hung up. Paul at Sardos found a place but it was going to take a week. But he didn t give up.. called me at the end of the day saying he found a place on NM that was overnighting the part. So not knowing when the part was being delivered I expected it in two days giving time for the delivery and the fix. They called me the VERY next day just after lunchtime saying it was ready. Sardos worked so hard to get me the hard to find part, and get my car fixed and returned to me. I appreciated all of the extra effort. I highly recommend Sardos!!

I was told $35 for the tow just for them to show up they charged me $85 then as I was talking to the lady at the desk she hung up in my face. She was very rude and disrespectful and they are just a rip off. They are saying there are things wrong with my truck that is not. I took it to see someone else and there is nothing wrong with it. They scam people and I will never allow anyone I know to use their service. To Riverview I go they got great prices and are honest and friendly.Service: Brakes

These guys are great. I have a vintage Mustangs that was improperly restored by a company that went bankrupt. There were issues with the engine, transmission and brakes. Sardo s were able to fix the problems quickly, and correctly.I would highly recommend them, they were knowledgeable, friendly and stand behind their work. Old time values with a wealth of knowledge.I won t bring any of my vehicles to anyone but Sardo s going forward.Mike

I took my truck in for a diagnostic test because of some noise I'm having with it. The honesty of this place surprised me. They didn't try to sell me ANYTHING! The mechanic told me that it might be the beginning of an axle going bad, but I have plenty of time before I actually need to replace it, and that its NOT a safety issue. I am so appreciative to actually have found a place that I can trust. I will be recommending Sardo's to anyone that asks!!!Thank you for the honesty and fairness!!!

Both of my vehicles are on the frequent flyer program with Sardos. Whenever my cars act up, I call and Sardos takes care of them. They are quick, professional and I know my cars are being perfectly cared for.. I've never had a problem with them and if I could rate higher than 5 stars, theyd be a 10 star company... Paul and his staff are excellent.....

My husband has been doing business with Sardo's for close to 20 yrs. if not longer. For the past 15 yrs. he has told me to go to one place (Sardo's) for gas when they had the gas station/auto repair business, which I have done. Sardo's has always been very good to us, they know their business, they take the time to help you, their work is professional & most of all you become like family. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Paul Sardo is straight up about what needs to be fixed and cost. His mechanics are superb based on much work they have done on my vehicles and the work gets done within a reasonable amount of time. All employees are public friendly. I am a regular there and will not change mechanics unless something seriously out of the ordinary happens. It's not likely that this will occur. My rating is actually four and one-half stars because nothing is absolutely perfect!

I like to work on my cars but I know when I'm in over my head. Just had that recent experience with my sons car. Paul came and towed it and Mike followed up with us along the way. They showed me the problems and what needed to be done now and what could wait. I recommend them to anybody who asks me.

Paul and his team did a great job on my 1954 Cadillac. He was able toalign my front on may car and mount my original bias tires. He is a trueprofessional and would trust him with all my antique cars.Gary

If I could give them a negative 1 I would. I called in twice spoke to Cindy (Manager) who told me if I bring my car in for the A.C. to be looked at and I choose not to fix it there it would be $45 she said this to me on two separate occasions. Then they call me and tell me it's $105 since I won't be getting my car fixed there!!! After I told them multiple times I was quoted $45 they argued with me called me a liar and said I was looking for free service!! I told them no I just want to pay the price quoted to me!!! They are the WORST auto repair shop around and will quote you one price and then try to push up the price!!!! DO NOT GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE DO NOT RIP OFF ARTIST

WARNING about Connecticut shop Sardo's Automotive. Do NOT take your cars there! I had an alignment 3 weeks ago that they knew was for a car that would be autocrossed. The place came well reviewed by other autocrossers. By the 2nd autocross event the car had developed severe handling issues and during the 3rd we finally figured out that the alignment bolts were loose. 3 out of 4 bolts in the front were easily tightened using a 3/8" ratchet, and one was so loose it required 5 turns before it even started to snug down. I gave Sardo's the opportunity to make good, and instead they treated me disrespectfully, never apologized, wouldn't take blame, said it was "impossible," actually had the nerve to accuse me of just trying to get a free alignment, and TRIED TO CHARGE ME. We spent an estimated $500 and 3 weekends of testing that are out the window due to the alignment issues. Full disclosure, we did re-align the rear suspension for some tuning we were doing, but we did not touch the front end since we have no way to measure castor and we *thought* camber was already maxed out anyway. The guy "nicely" offered to straighten out the rear alignment that we had DIY'd (it was off by .2 degrees and took him no more than 5 minutes). As a result of this he accused me of lying about the front bolts coming loose and that I was just trying to get a new alignment, and completely refused to take any responsibility for nearly destroying my car had the bolt actually worked its way out. Not only will I never go there again but I would warn everyone else away from them as well. Such a huge safety risk and so much money out the window.

had my snow tires mounted balanced an put on car. they were very busy. but they got me out in a little over fourty minutes. that was rather quick with all the cars they were working on. I was happy.

Honest, fast, reliable. From now on they get all my vehicles including my sons and our elderly neighbor's classic Cadillac. They work on all makes and models. From classic to modern.

Sardo's is fair and honest. They service several of my commercial vehicles plus my personal auto's and have not had any problems with the services performed. I highly recommend them!

I have been very pleased with the work from Sardo's. I respect their judgment and happy that my car buff neighbor recommended that I go there when he heard how bad my car sounded a couple of years ago.

Do not use them for towing services. They completely abandoned me and I had to call other tow services. They did not make one attempt at calling my phone. They are a terrible service...
