I had a breakdown and was able to make it to Dubois auto safely. They were gracious enough to take me right in and get my truck back on the road in a very timely manner. Outstanding service, knowledgeable and integrity are my first thoughts for Tom and Michelle! Thank you again. You made a bad day turn around for me, and I appreciate it.

Nobody likes a broken car good people & had problem looked @ b4 nothing like YouTube was leading me no leaks so were good was drinking a qt oil every other day!!! Yuck...

I ve had nothing but the best experience with DuBois Automotive! They go above and beyond for their customers! For the past 6 years I ve brought my vehicles here for general maintenance and major repairs (replaced entire transmission in my ranger). The office staff and technicians are always knowledgeable and 90% of time the owners are there to assist you! It s nice to be able to walk in and see that kind of presence in a business nowadays!We ve personally purchased 5 vehicles from DuBois as well! Three of which they actually sourced for us directly! We told them what we wanted and they found them! They went through them to ensure they were solid vehicles, performed the necessary repairs and warrantied the parts!They tell you exactly what your car needs now and what can wait! They offer, hands down, THE best value for any automotive repair in this area. I believe you cannot put a price on piece of mind!I d recommend these guys to anyone!

Our car had an audible air leak in the braking system and a pedal that drops to the floor when stopped. We dropped off the car and were told we would be contacted with a quote. Instead, we were called later the same day and were advised the car was ready for pickup. They completed the work without providing the quote. In addition, I was told that there was no air leak and that the brake pedal now had good feel after they bled the brake system. I responded by saying that there is 100% a leak as I confirmed same with a spritz of water before taking it in. The technician who worked on the vehicle was unavailable to discuss and I was advised the car was fine and ready for pickup. Unsurprisingly, there is still an air leak and the pedal still drops to the floor at stop signs. Paid $163 for them to flush the brake system which certainly didn t hurt, but they didn t address the main issues I had brought the vehicle in for. I had previously had a positive experience here on a wheel bearing replacement, but will be finding another mechanic moving forward.

I brought my vehicle in for service and I couldn t be happier! The repairs were done in a timely manner and very fair pricing. I was met with knowledgeable technicians that explained my repairs clearly, to a person with little car knowledge. I would highly recommend their services!! I have been dealing with several issues on my Ford edge. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I decided to bring my suv to Tom at Dubois Automotive. They looked the vehicle over, figured out what was wrong and fixed it quickly. They took time and explained the repairs to me and their professionalism gave me confidence in their work.The SUV now runs great and I am a happy and loyal customer. Reputable shop. Receptionist always greets me by name. Recently got my oil changed which was done in a very timely manor. My family & I will not bring our vehicles anywhere else, we are customers for life. Had to bring my vehicle in on an emergent basis. Had my car towed to Dubois at about 10:30AM, unfortunately due to COVID I was unable to accompany my vehicle to the shop due to AAA s towing policy. They got to work diagnosing the problem right away. Within an hour of it s arrival, I was given an estimate over the phone and told my vehicle would be completed by the end of the day. It was in fact done earlier than anticipated. As always the owners are 1000% professional and courteous. And despite these being costly repairs that needed to be done, I have no doubt or question that my service was done correctly. I cannot say enough about Dubois Automotive. If I could give them 10 stars I would! You could NEVER get this level of personal service at a dealer or any other establishment in my opinion! Thank you Dubois Automotive!!!!!! You saved me from having a Christmas nightmare.

They are amazing and honest people. I get a flat tire. Thanks god I was passing that road. They helped me. They offered restroom in case I needed. Unfortunately my tire has a hole right on the side. They weren t able to fix. I had a spare bur not the tools to remove it. They helped me again. At the end the charge it was 13 dollars charge only. If they us charge me 130 I would pay happy. They were angel right there. I super recomend Dubois.

On 11/03 my car stopped in the middle of the road. My parents came and helped me push it into the lot of Dubois. I spoke with Samantha and left my car keys with her so the following week they could look at my car. The following week 11/9 I had called the Dubois and I asked they were going to be looking at my car, Samantha informs me that she didn t think to call me as a tow truck came and took my car on 11/4. I had to leave work early to make a police report, I spoke with trooper Sebastian and filed a police report, I am currently filing a civil suit as well. My insurance company has to settle with me on a payment and they only pay for a rental for a few weeks. I have to now pay for a rental until I find a car that s suitable for my family and I. I have yet been told if the owner has reviews the footage because they said my car was at a bad angle and have yet to receive an apology. I am still confused as to how this happened because it s unbelievable and that an owner/employees could be this unprofessional to not inform someone a car was taken off their lot when they are left responsible for it.My keys were still with them still they didn t bother to call and see if I sent a tow truck to pick up my car. I think this is an unsafe place to leave any car especially any suv.

I was visiting my brother-in-law in Connecticut and had some car issues. Tom and Michelle understood my situation seeing that I had to be back in the road in a short period of time. They took care of everything and had my car and I back driving the same day. I can t say enough great things!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had my tires installed by them back in November all was well until my back right tire started vibrating at high speeds and then got worse quickly from there. I checked my tire and two of the lugs were gone! when I replaced them myself this morning, all the others were loose as well. I brought the car in and asked them why my lugs were never checked and tightened during my oil changes in the past 7 months. They denied all responsibility and simply torqued the lugs while the car was still on the ground. The negligence demonstrated here could have gotten me or someone else killed since I drive back and forth from Hartford to Willimantic everyday. They will not see me here ever again and you should not get service here either.

Had a problem with my 2007 Honda Accord with 150k miles. It kept bucking at low rpms at all speeds. Tom took it out on the road several times with a computer hooked up to it. It showed no abnormalities but he could feel what I was feeling. He asked if I ever changed the auto transmission fluid. I said never. He recommended we flush it and refill with genuine Honda ATF. Well, after that it ran like a new vehicle again! Thanks Tom. You are a great mechanical troubleshooter!

The worst auto shop I've ever dealt with. My father had a serpentine belt break on his truck, he had it towed here because it was close by. They fixed the belt and without his permission replaced his break lines even though they were fine. This cost him an upwards of $1000. Then we move to me, exhibit B. My truck broke down, it stalled while driving on rt 6 so i pulled over and it wouldn't start again. I had it towed to Dubois auto, they put in a fuel pump and sent me on my way on 11/25/16, it cost me $876.29. 5 days later I was on my way home from work and the truck stalled again and wouldn't start, I had to pay for another tow and went back there complaining that they didn't fix the problem. Apparently the EGR valve needed to be replaced costing $256.94. So not only did they not fix the correct problem the first time they still charged me. Then the truck was good until 1/4/17 when it blew a headgasket. That bill totalled $1500. The owner talked to me and he did seem like a nice and sincere man. I went back to do the headgasket because I wanted to give them another shot. Unfortunately after they replaced the gasket I had more problems. See when the gasket went the coolant got all over the spark plugs and they were not replaced causing an erratic idle and bad starting.1/17/17 I went in and they replaced the bad plug. Fortunately I dont think they charged me much if anything for that. On 3/2/17 my trucks engine exploded on the highway. I believe there was permanent damage to the engine that I was not warned of. I had to car pool for the next month saving up enough money to put a new engine in and I did not go to Dubois. I found an honest mechanic who hooked me up with a used motor on 5/1/17. Parts and labor for the engine and installation came to $1750. If Dubois auto had told me I could get another engine after the headgasket blew for just a little more money, I would have done it. But after all they just wanted me to come back to do another repair and make more money off of me. Id give no stars if I could. Please Stay AWAY!

Unfortunately got a flat today and they helped me tremendously. Got me in and out, including information intake, within 30 minutes and the price was soooo reasonable. A huge blessing on a day I started off being pessimistic about.Highly recommend.

Horrible service. My sisters vehicle was STOLEN from this auto shop while it was under their care. If I were you, I would not trust them.
