This is the place you want to do business. Service or auto purchase. The owner, Todd, is a very fair, genuine, decent, trustworthy and honest person. They were able to get my vehicle done in one day. They figured out the problem, got the part ordered and installed all in one day. No surprises on the bill when I paid. Everyone was friendly and nice to work with. I will use them again!!

First time going there for an oil change and help fixing a wiper arm! They were happy, helpful, and even chatted while I waited. The gentleman who helped me set up my appointment was personable and made the process super easy!I asked if my tires needed rotated and they checked everything in detail and told me my car was in good shape! Will be using them again in the future!

During a recent vacation to Woodland Park on 3-14-24 during the snowmageddon my 2013 GMC 2500HD found it self in serious trouble. My transfer case cracked completely in 1/2, front drive shaft bent, yoke plate, and u joints were destroyed in front diff. I was limited in knowledge of repair shops in the area. I live 1000 miles away. I spoke with Ben at Bad Rock on the phone about my situation and he was very willing to assist. Once the mountain road was cleared of the 44 of snow I took a chance and my son in law followed me to drop off the truck (left the state the next morning. Ben sent a report of the damage (exactly what I expected, my wife can confirm) by the time I arrived home. We spoke on the phone again i gave notice to proceed. Throughout the entire process these were standup folks. We never met face to face but had as I would like to say good old boy trust. Once they completed repairs in a very timely fashion, I made arrangements for a haul company to pick up and deliver to my residence. Ben and Johnny both were willing to work with me on the schedule. Truck arrived to my residence, I test drove and looked over top to bottom. Couldn t be any happier with the repairs and fair price for them. I am a very able person who could do the repairs but was very far from home. Outstanding Business, FIRST CLASS customer service. I will recommend to anyone in the area!

Worst experience ever. Take your car somewhere else. They screwed up mine for over 5K. My husband took my car there. We tried enough, my husband returned the car two times in 2 days. Motor was smoking the car couldn't go faster then 40miles/hour and the screws were so untight they were falling out from the motor. Not even mentioned that everything on the steering wheel wasn't connected and they wanted to charge me more saying that was not their fault although I know all those were working before they serviced my car.

Poor communication, over priced. I went in for a oil change and have my headlights looked at as they were not working. I understand that the Mechanics need payed as the front desk guy said. The problem I have is no one told me about a Diagnostics charge. That brought my total to $ 202 for a oil change for a 2014 Subaru crosstrek. This was not communicated to me that there was going to be a Diagnostics fee. I was told if one headlight goes out they both will , not ture. Not a trusted garage. Very shady experience. Front desk was Arrogant when I told him i'm here to pick up the subaru. He made a unnecessary comment when I told him I'm here to pick up the subaru as if I should of just knew I needed to mention my last name. He said well there are several Subaru's out there in a Unprofessional manner. I Just feel cheated out of my money. Go somewhere else.

THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!! My car broke down on the side of the road and I pulled into the gas station next to the shop. The guys fixed my car in <10 min and DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME!! Highly recommended!! These guys are life savers!! If the guys who work here are reading this I want to wish y all a big thank you. If anyone else read this go to this shop these guys are ROCK SOLID

We were traveling on an 8 hour drive and ended up getting a flat tire due to a nail. Called Bad Rock Auto and explained the situation, and was told to bring er on in! Johnny was able to take a look and plug it, all within 20 minutes-getting us back on the road in no time. Even better, he was very generous and did it at no charge. Can t thank Bad Rock Auto enough for making a real bad situation really good!Service: Tires

I had some pretty major repairs done that took ordering of parts. Once the parts came, I dropped my vehicle off. They gave me a ride to school as it would take several hours to repair. They offered to pick me up to get my car when it was finished. Everything worked fine for a day and a half. At which time the same issue reoccurred. I called them and they fixed the problem which was actually a faulty part the parts store delivered to them, originally. I have had absolutely no issues with the repair since and that has been a couple of months now. They even checked back with me twice to make sure all is still well with the repairs. Who does that? Bad Rock. What a nice touch. I would highly recommend this garage, for their customer service, and quality of work. Everyone there was super nice and took very good care of me, being a single woman.Services: Engine repair, Battery

Bad Rock Automotive is the only place in town that I will have my vehicles worked on. The entire staff is courteous and very professional. I ve taken both my vehicles there for maintenance checks and auto repairs, including having the headlights cleaned and they did a magnificent job. Also, they have reasonable pricing for outstanding work. So my family and I are from Texas and while on vacation a couple months ago we had some pretty major car trouble while staying in cripple creek and these guys took care of everything and expedited everything as best they could do we could enjoy our vacation.they even made follow up calls the day we arrived in Texas and also a month after.tbh I was worried by some of the reviews but they did us right imo,thank you guys

The work on my car was completed a head of time and a driver was sent to my house to pick me up because I didn't have a ride back to the shop. Johnny, the shop manage, was very attentive to my questions. Oil & filter chg plus cutoff bent bracket hanging down from rear for twin dual exhaust tips. Backed up on a hilly holler, I guess. Yea, it was that low. Enough to plow a row o'sweet potatoes. I'd post the after shot but haven't a chance to get car washed and muddy panels got me feelin' like a bad steward. But typed too much here and don't wanna see it all go POOF 4 no [save draft] . Where was I? Oh, Anyway the stuff was merely cosmetic. It's an in-line four banger, for crying out loud. Single exhaust will suffice. Plus they checked brake pad wear topped fluids and ran OBD-II diagnostics. Fortunately results hi 90%s since I be rollin' like Morgan Freeman in "Driving Miss Daisy" And thx 2 all those concerned drivers who rode behind me alerting me, som'ns hangin' down. Junk metal's gone, thx 2 Bad Rock Auto. Class act, these guys. I recommend them highly and will visit again

Extensive repairs done right! While I was not expecting to have a major repair done, it turned out to be necessary. Johnny and crew walked me through every step asking for my approvals all along the way. I always felt like they were being completely honest. Just what you want in a shop! Bonus, I didn t have to drive down the hill to get great service!

Brought my 74 Jeep in, gas tank leaking. Told tank needed replacing because it was rusted out. Replaced tank, fuel sending unit and pickup. All good but fuel gauge showed empty. So I went to the gas station next door. Found the tank was full but the gauge showed empty. I guess the tech didn't completely check fuel gauge system. And just returned the vehicle to customer. The fuel gauge was partially working when I brought it in. I questioned Johnny, the guy at the counter, he couldn't tell me anything about the fuel system.The people are very nice and seem to want to help but no attention to detail. Not a way to run a shop. The service techs should annotate everything they do on a vehicle. If it's not on the ticket, the person at the counter should know.Need to go the extra mile. Not in a hurry.This is an update to the above post. I was contacted by Mac the owner. We had a very nice conversation. He assured me that his team will rectify the problem. I will update as needed.Another update to above. I received my Jeep and all is repaired as Mac said it would. It took them an additional week, that's ok because the job was done correctly. Worst shop I have ever used. Spent over $10,000 on a new motor and other repairs. Parts was stolen from my truck an told it wasn't there even though I had pictures. Have been ignored by the owner have never spoke with him. Manger got mad when I confronted them about the stolen parts. No lie they sent me out the door with a new motor with the top radiator hose hitting the fan blade. I am writing this review on the side of the road with the motor blown up waiting on the tow company. Save your self money and a head ache don't use this shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Battery

This shop is very expensive compared to other shops I've used in the past. Inspections usually run $60-$100 everywhere I've been including dealerships their inspection was $142. I have doughts about how knowledgeable the master tech is. I brought my tacoma in because my transfer case was stuck in neutral and I was quoted $3,000+ to fix it. After talking to a toyota master tech I learned that it can manually be put back into 2wd and basically be reset. 20 minutes and a 12mm socket I was back on the road. Needless to say I'd didn't have them do the work. Always get a second opinion before you pay this shop thousands of dollars.

Great customer service!It has been quite a miles since the car had more than an oil change and basic care. I knew it was going to need more.They helped prioritize the work, arrange transportation over 30 minutes to home & have a clean shiny car waiting for me at a reasonable price.

I have a 96 Tacoma that I needed the wheel bearings replaced. First they told me they had the correct tools for the job, it requires a special jig for a press. They told me they where having a hard time with the job and wanted additional money. I didn't agree to the additional charge. I took the axle to another auto shop and found out the had stripped the retaining studs and nuts completely. I don't recommend Bad Rock if you don't like being ripped off or lied to.

They've changed my oil a couple of times and they're great they put back all the sensors that they're supposed to put back. Everybody there is completely respectful and nice and when you have other issues come up they're willing to help without making you wait 2 weeks to take care of it.

The guys at Bad Rock Auto took excellent care of my car a few weeks back. They did a thorough checkup on it, changed my oil, as well as my air & cabin filters, checked my brakes, & even gave it back to me cleaner than when I took it in. Additionally, they sent one of their guys on a 25min drive to come pick me up when my car was ready, because I didn't have a ride back to the shop. They were professional, quick, knowledgeable, friendly & all around wonderful guys! I definitely recommend them to everyone in the area!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

If this guy will cheat a disabled veterans there are no moral boundaries for this owner. We are talking about the oldest gentleman? I m assuming the owner : ) Hummer 06 Paid $3300 for a trans to be done, I had it go out on me and needed assistance. I explained, I only had $1,1000 the Owner said to have it brought here, we can help. After the WEEKEND he gives me a call. Sorry bud, it s $3300. Then tell me me I give a 3 year warranty that s why it s so much! Anyways! Called around had a place up the street say 1,400 ball park with everything on the list.The owner of Bad Rock told me I d have to pay a parking lot fee, and diagnostics which came out $75 higher than originally quoted. Anyways, I just got back from Afghanistan, I m 100 percent disabled, metal rods from my right calf go to my lower back. I m not in Motivated state to go back and forth. I took out equity in home.I get the truck back and my GoPro had the memory chip taken out? All my coins from China vanished and one of the hood clamps gone. I asked the owner, had to walk around my truck telling the owner what happened. He Tells me I m lying, his shop is practically perfect and I m wrong!?!?You buy one I ll buy one??PS don t let the high school pictures and police (im a stand up guy type fool you) its a trick. The owner is all about hard balling customers. I own properties in green mountain falls though. I ll make sure the communities around the area know. The emails sent out to military bases in the area of this shop, describing my experience and how I feel like the owner screwed over a disabled veterans!!!Service: Transmission
