This was an experience I would love to live over again. It was a weekend full of stargazing, connecting and adventure. Our walk around the property did not disappoint. We were able to take some amazing pictures!A few helpful tips.If staying in September especially the latter part, make sure to bring a electric blanket or propane room heater.Make sure to zip both the screen and outer flaps of tent tightly before bed. (We stayed in summit king) If there is any wind your sleep well be interrupted. You will park your car in a lot that's not close to your lodging. They have ATV shuttles to help take you and your luggage to your tent. (I enjoyed not having that near where we slept, it was quiet). If staying in a journey tent there is a treck up the side of a hill to get to your tent. Or ...you can call for the ATV.Personally, I recommend staying in the King summit. You get your own private bathroom and you're near the common area.Over all this was an amazing and unique experience. We enjoyed ourselves.Thank you to all who made our stay wonderful!

We had a really great experience here! The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially, Mickael, he was fabulous. Our tent and bed was very comfortable, even in the queen journey tent. The views are spectacular! There are plenty of drink options in the communal tent and the food was pretty good (although I do think slightly overpriced). We would highly recommend to family and friends as it was a very unique and fun experience.

Overpriced and not a good value. "Everything you'd expect from a five star hotel" is a gross exaggeration. Sheets and towels were nice though. It was extremely hot during our visit and without a lick of shade or attempt at shade (journey tents area) I think this a consideration miss. Service was just ok - see notes about dinner below but will say Roxanne went above and beyond to provide some redemption. She was part of the breakfast staff and I could tell she definitely cared about delivering great service. She brought us ice for our cooler which I thought was a nice touch. Sunset and night sky gazing was great, but obviously available anywhere in this area.Food & drinks: We opted to elevate our experience with the $185 (each) dinner. At this price point you'd expect excellence - in flavor, delivery, service and experience. And perhaps a wine pairing? Epic fail on all points. In fact, most of my 5 plates were picked up with only a few bites eaten - too much oil, no seasoning, tasted like tomato paste and jarred turkey gravy. No one asked a thing about what we thought/was there something wrong, etc. No one cared. Chef did not come out when full plates were returned to the kitchen. We were late for the happy hour and was told by Caleb it was ok, that we'd still get a complimentary beverage - we did not. It was included on our bill. Several of the wines I wanted to order to pair with my meal (create my own experience) could not be opened/were not available. I went to use the restroom at one point and it was full/had feces on the seat. I reported it then was told I could use it. The toilet had been flushed but there was still feces on the seat when I returned. Bottom line - they should not be offering this "elevated" experience at this price point if they cannot even remotely deliver. Absolutely terrible - buyer beware, especially regarding this dinner.

I d love to give 5 stars but there were something s that went wrong and that were falsely advertised that has me frustrated. We booked the king bed summit tents. It says right on the website that there s a wood burning stove inside the tent, there is not. I was very disappointed by this. Next, we have a shower in our tent yet we couldn t use it because the hot water doesn t work. We asked them to come check it out and idk if they ever did or not, I m assuming they didn t because it still didn t work after asking them to come out. The only other thing that frustrated me was the fire pit not having enough room for us to go get our free s mores and sit around the fire. This many tents, you should have at least two fire pits so everyone can enjoy the fire. Especially since you removed the stoves from the tents. Also, personally I don t recommend the BBQ experience. It s unsanitary and at the price point I d like to have at least wash my hands when handling raw chicken, steak and pork. They don t provide a thermometer to make sure chicken is cooked to correct temp. The steak was really delicious however not worth $155. I could see a price of $50 maybe but not $155 for u to cook ur own food.Everything else was great! View was incredible. Staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable!! The granola breakfast was nice, and the setting where you eat breakfast is stunning!Overall I feel I was overcharged considering we didn t have the stove or hot water. But I do love the unique experience we had and in such a beautiful place

We had such a wonderful experience. Our experience felt very personal and the staff went above and beyond to achieve that! Between the texts throughout the day and the open communication, the staff was amazing! Mikeal was so personable. We really enjoyed talking with him during happy hour. The old fashioned is absolutely amazing! Our beds were extremely comfortable. They provide extra blankets without asking which is nice. There was also a cooler with water and ice in the tent when we arrived. They really thought everything through. If staying in a Journey tent, be prepared to walk up a pretty steep path when going back and forth to the meeting tent. Make sure you have good shoes. Our only complaint was the shower. The water was either freezing or scalding and the shower head wasn't working really so the water trickled out. This is being very picky. We were happy to be able to shower and just did it quickly.Totally worth the experience! We also did the BBQ dinner which was great! Highly recommend. We got so much food and it was all delicious.

Our stay at the collective Vail was truly amazing - the service, amenities, activities on the ranch and overall vibes were immaculate. From the moment we arrived, Mikael & Yvette (and the other employees) made sure we were comfortable, well fed & having a great time. While there are other glamping options out there for less, the level of service & attention to detail at the Collective Vail is what makes this place stand out. A special call out is needed for the Chef's tasting menu dinner as it was a highlight of our stay--over 10 delectable courses of absolute perfection made with locally sourced ingredients and paired with an unbeatable view. This trip stood out from all my other travels and I hope to visit one of the other properties soon--book your next getaway here and you will not regret it.

I would like to give somewhere between 2-3 star. My experience at Vail Collective was "okay". The best part of our stay was the breakfast and the courteousness of the employees. The food, and breakfast setting was worth the price-point. The professionalism, kindness, and helpful nature of the employees (when contacted) was worth the price point. However, in my opinion rest of the experience was not worth the price-point e.g. the accommodations, and attention to details.

Collective Vail hosted my August wedding and it couldn't have turned out better. We had fifty five of our closest friends and family with many staying onsite in the beautiful tents. Jordan and her team took care of us, customizing the weekend menu, hosting our rehearsal dinner under the stars and making sure we had everything we could need on our wedding day. Our wedding photos are stunning, shots of the mountains in almost every outdoor picture and we can't wait to come back to visit for our first wedding anniversary. Thank you to the entire staff and everyone who helped make it such an amazing weekend!!!

First off, we LOVED the accommodation and the bed. Most comfortable we've ever stayed in. The views were stunning and it was surreal to be staying in a luxury tent with a wood fired stove. Unfortunately, we came at the end of the season and the staff was dropping balls left and right. It was very difficult to get help with lots of little things that were going wrong...and it all added up to a frustrating experience. They were kind of operating like the resort had just opened or something and no one knew how to run it.

Ok. Let s start with the positives. Cabins are nicely equipped. Location is stunning. BBQ box dinner was delicious and hanging by the campfire with other families was super fun. HOWEVER... 3 of the 4Communal bathrooms are out of order- one toilet and sink for twelve tents. No woods to pee in in the alternative. Had to encourage my kids to not drink water because there s nowhere to pee. Horse poop at every step. Arrived starving. Told there wasn t so much as a granola bar on premises to purchase and then came to find out accidentally that the winery sells pizza and charcuterie boards. Nobody I spoke to had worked here more than a week and couldn t answer the simplest of questions. Cabin s lights were out. Firewood ran out (very cold night). Asked for more and did not receive. I could go on. Was credited half our night s stay (which is good), but would have rather not come at all.

The bed, the food, the staff, the views. Holy smokes. We went down to the on-site winery, had fabulous meals at Three Peaks (the chef was very personable as well, and told us all about what we were eating and how local the ingredients were), and slept hard each night. It does get chilly at night, even in summer, so take an extra layer or two, but it's still warm and sunny during the day. Poke your head out of your tent in the late afternoon, that's when the horses at the ranch run out to pasture, and it's truly something beautiful to watch.

We stayed at Collective Vail to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We hadn't gotten to go camping this year because of our busy schedule so this seemed like the perfect getaway to chill out and celebrate our anniversary. Dont get me wrong, Collective Vail is a great concept and it was nice to not have to lug our camping gear somewhere and set it up but it seemed very disorganized and some of the charges are not exactly up front. I had no idea that there was a "non-refundable deposit equal to 100% the total cost of your stay" until after I booked. So whatever you plan on spending, double that. I also read on the website there would be a coffee bar in the tents. Come to find out, its for the Summit Tents only not the Journey Tents. Journey tents basically have towels and a deck of cards. It also would have been nice to know that our car had to be parked down a mountain about 1/2 of a mile as well as the area to pick up your BBQ box and have breakfast. Nothing was really explained to us, they just asked for our name and put us on a 4 wheel vehicle with our bags and sent us up the mountain to our tent. We asked another couple where we picked up or meals and where breakfast would be since it was never explained. We ordered the BBQ boxes for our dinner each night. The BBQ boxes were supposed to put together so that you could "grill it your self and have everything you needed to BBQ". For starters, The BBQ was clear at the other end of camp. All we received with our BBQ box was unseasoned steak(Pork chop the next night), a potato with absolutely nothing on it and piece of squash that we threw out because it was slimy. No utensils to grill with, no salt and pepper to season our food with. For $76 they could have thrown some salt and pepper and butter into the box. The nearest restaurant is 20 minutes away so its not like we could just go into town and grab something edible. Plus for $76 I was expecting a pretty nice meal. I also got us sandwiches for lunch that cost $20/person and all we got was a turkey sandwich with bacon and lettuce. No chips, no drinks just a sandwich, definitely not worth the $40 I spent!! After all was said and done, we arranged for pickup they dropped us off at our car and said our final receipt would be emailed to us later and they drove off. I actually had to send and email and request our receipt. After getting the receipt I then had to ask for an itemized receipt to so that I could figure out some charges. This is supposed to be "Glamping" which I was excited for, but every time I turned around there was a charge for something or something was only included in the upgraded tent. For the money we paid we should have gotten more than just the bare bones of a tent then what we got. For Collective Vail is a great concept, just poorly managed.

The view and the setting are amazing but they don't justify the price tag. Go Glamp somehwere else. This place is an Instagram Photo and nothing more. We had tent problems, lack luster staff, food issues and worst of all mice in the tent. Take any of the one and two star reviews you see out there as gospel. This place has many many bugs it needs to work out.

Great experience, nice tents with great view. We splurged and got the tent with the queen bed and attached bathroom. Not for everyone but if you've camped in the past you'll have no problem. Great friendly staff.

We had a great experience here! All of the enjoyment of camping without the work. The Summit tent was fantastic. Clean, spacious, great decor and had everything we needed - the bed and linens were especially dreamy. Phenomenal setting- beautiful mountain views with horses grazing in the valley. And, we loved the staff - everyone gave off a relaxed, attentive and peaceful vibe. We had a great experience chatting with Mickael during check-in and check-out, Caleb was the perfect host for happy hour and the bbq and Yvette provided a fabulous mountain top yoga experience. The price point is a bit high but worth the splurge!

Native Americans should be particularly pleased to drop $800 to poop in a tipi. Yes, tipi, not "teepee" to all you tipi excretionists. This is culturally inappropriate to say the least. I called and asked if they had any decked out tipis; of course not. Rich kids catering to rich kids that have never set foot on a reservation. Nice. There would be outrage if you slept in a General Custer tent, like this, and the toilet was a mosque. Prove me wrong.
