Best location to stay if you're riding at Winter Park. However, the service at check-in was definitely lacking. Our party arrived on the Amtrak Winter Park Express train at 9:30AM. We checked in at the front desk and was told the room would be ready until later and that I would receive a text when it was available. We waited 4 hours in the lobby and received no text. We finally inquired at the front desk and was told a room was ready. I asked why I hadn't received a text and they said they had prioritized people that arrived at 11AM. I told them we arrived at 9:30AM and they said they were "swamped". To add insult to injury, the keys they gave us did not work. I called the front desk and was told to return to the front desk. They missed the 4PM check-in guarantee and there was no effort made to make up for the situation. If you book a room here, I would suggest hounding the front desk staff as much as possible to make sure you get your room.

We love Winter Park but would stay elsewhere next time. The unit we rented at Zephyr was not particularly good value at the $600+ per night rate we paid. Other reviews mention running into issues with the HOA / management organization fobbing off fixable problems as not their responsibility, and we had that too (in stark contrast to all other experiences in this extremely friendly resort town). As a family who rents skis, the slope-adjacent location of Zephyr wasn t the big convenience I thought it would be, because winter park offers free rental ski storage at base anyway. In future we know we can stay elsewhere and still in walking distance to base.

Ski in and ski out. Close to the gondola, Starbucks, lime. There's two hot tubs, ski lockers. The bad: parking at our sleeps up to 10 person condo came with only 1 spot. This spot still requires payment. We had to park in the garage that cost 40 a day or 50 on weekends. Sure we could wake up and move the car at 7am to avoid the fee but what's the point of ski in and ski out then? Quite expensive at 6000 for 3 nights.

Zephyr was my first spend more to save time and travel. In days past I would have stayed else where to save money and made my way to the slopes each day. At 54 I have more money than time, lol. The accommodations were nice (get the light switch diagram though as We couldn t figure out how to turn all the lights on ). Being at the epicenter of all the activity is great. We rented gear from the ski rental place thats part of the lodge, we parked there and used our vehicle little. You could store the gear at the shop we rented from overnight for free. It was great! Id recommend, grabbing some mainstays on the food and beverage side as it would seem everything comes with a hidden fee when eating and drinking at the slopes. Overall a wonderful time and I m happy i spent the extra $500 or so and kept it simple and easy.

I only wish I knew to come on the weekends rather than during the week. All the stores and fun things todo were closed the entire week we were there and sadly our flight out was on a Friday when everything opens back up. Great place, I m sure it d be really fun if you re able to go during a weekend where everything s running. This place was fantastic as it is already. I hope to come back when there s snow and finally get some snow board action.

What a great location and proximity to snowboarding, lifts, etc. Loved having a Starbucks within a few steps of our condo as well! The other food in the village is overpriced and meh, but the location nearly makes up for it. Our unit, 1506, was CLEAN, spacious and had everything we needed. Whoever cleans this unit should get an award, because I m kind of OCD about things and this place didn t disappoint. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was somewhat worn, but not nasty. Our parking pass for the garage wasn t working for half of our trip, but a maintenance man finally gave us one that opened the gate properly. Hot tubs outside were very nice. Overall, nice place. Recommend for activities and lodging, just skip the restaurants (other than Starbucks) and go down the road.

Fantastic place to stay for skiing Winter Park. Ski in/ski out location is hard to beat. Makes coming in for lunch or a warm up very easy. The locker each unit gets for ski equipment is great and they are conveniently located on the first or second floor. Units show wear and tear you would expect from a ski resort. Hot tubs usually had space at the end of a skiing day.

Cheaply built rooms for people who won't notice. TVs need to be updated, and I won't even go into detail with everything else. Not even close to being (that guy) as well. You pay 5 star prices for a 2 star place. It's a pretend you're successful place.Rooms: Cheaply builtFood & drinks: Overpriced

There are multiple different owners who own rooms in the building. Prices and views vary depending on who or how you book. Confusing. Dont count on asking for a room upgrade or view upgrade. The rooms are all the same and lack things that you would normally expect or need. The how water is a strange experience, it takes forever to get hot. The distance to the lifts is the number 1 reason to pick this place of course. Can't beat the distance to everything.Walkability: It has a parking garage thats like 20 bucks a day for your car to sit the whole time because everything is in walking distance on the resort. The wifi is weak and doesn't reach to any of the lifts. Turn wifi off or it will kill your battery quick.

Have been to Winter Park a number of times during ski season, but had forgot how beautiful this area is during the summer! Gorgeous. Zephyr is located right across from the gondola and base area of the mountain, which is amazing. Our accommodations themselves were very nice and more than adequate for two. Love the lodge and surrounding area! Have to visit again in the off season (which wasn t too off, with all the activities they have going on).

Pros:- Location is the best part. About a 2 minute walk to the Gondola. It s easy to ski back if you are on the MJ side but from the WP side you need to walk a bit uphill so can t really ski back.- The condo we stayed in was cute.Cons:- If having access to a great hot tub is important to you, I would not recommend staying here. We were in the Slopeside building and there is a small and a larger hot tub right outside. The small hot tub wasn t very hot each of the days we tried it and on the last day neither tub was hot. The worst part about these hot tubs though is the jets. They are not normal jets that push water out. I think they are air jets. It s pretty impossible to target your leg muscles with them and if you put your back up against them it feels like you are in a washing machine (be prepared to keep your eyes closed and mouth shut unless you want water in your eyes and mouth). The jets splash so high and are extremely loud so you can t really enjoy a conversation or enjoy a drink with them on. The grossest part though was that there was sand or some other type of sediment at the bottom of both tubs so your feet get really dirty and it makes me think they have not been properly cleaned in a long time.- There is no daily housekeeping. For the price we paid per night I would have expected there to be housekeeping but there was not.- There was trash in our ski locker and it was pretty dirty. These also seem like they haven t been cleaned in a long time.- Sheets were very scratchy and we woke up itchy after the first night.- To check in, you have to download the WP Lodging app. Everything is done over text so it feels very impersonal.Overall I would not recommend this hotel if you care about service and amenities.

We stayed in unit 2608 - 2bd/2ba in the Riverside building. We loved our stay there. The unit was well put together - kitchen was stocked, family games supplied. Balcony overlooked the gondola so a nice view! Hot tubs were hot, we preferred the ones at the Slopeside building. Lockers were convenient downstairs and walk right out to the lifts. Busses run into town that are free and the stops were right by the complex. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Winter Park again.

I didn't stay here, only visited. Great atmosphere, lots of over priced shops and $2 cans of local beer all day. Take an hour and enjoy your favorite beverage in the evening.

What a great property! The location is perfect with the gondola and lots of shops right outside. You can't get a better location if your staying in Winter Park. We rented one of the premium 1 bedrooms and it was well worth it. The room was clean and the decor is nicely done. This is a condo hotel property so it's not full service but the staff was extremely helpful and very nice during our stay and as I mentioned early there are tons of shops and restaurants right outside this property's door. If you ever visit Winter Park and want the absolute the best place to stay within the heart of the action, the Zephyr Mountain Lodge is your place. We will definitely be back.

Trying not to Karen the review, but this place desperately needs to renovate their rooms. They were dated maybe 10 years ago now it's just embarrassing. Most of the windows we're broken/didn't seal, apart from being cold, massive waste of energy!Stove top was un-level and had a broken ring. The pull out sofa was gross and broken, not sure how they expect anyone but a lightweight child to sleep on that.TV and all the appliances were older than my teenage daughter, I mean touche that they're still mostly functioning, but trying to connect a laptop to a 15+ year old TV was anything but sheer luck!Lighting in the bedroom was dumb, you have to get up to turn lights off... really?Pocket door between bedroom and bathroom was broken, thankfully we could leave it closed.Only reason it's not a 1 star is because the staff were responsive and helpful with any requests. The place just desperately needs a renovation - not anything major even, mostly just updated appliances and pullout and a update to the bathroom would be a huge bonus.

This lodge is a prime location for winter and summer vacationers. We enjoyed being steps away from Starbucks and an abundance of restaurants. We didn t have to drive anywhere during our whole trip. My family enjoyed the Zephyr condo because it was a one bedroom separated by a living room and kitchen. It was nice to have our own space away from the kiddos. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay.

My family stayed in room 2702, our usual go-to room. It's big, so it fits friends and family, newly renovated, detailed informational binder for guests, and it's in the perfect location for ski season. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love the crep and waffle places in the village. It's my first time here in winter park outside of ski season. Currently, a lot is closed until June 19th (mud season). It's a little bit of a bummer, but it forces us to relax. We planned another trip in Aug, so we'll see how it is then.Update: August was great! Did lots of hikes and took so many pictures. April is my favorite time to ski here, and off ski season was just as good (maybe not mud season)Rooms: 2 master bedrooms and a "kids room"with 4 bunk beds. The mattresses were comfy, and bathrooms were updated.Looks like they're in the middle of updating the whole place. They mentioned the mudroom entryway and furniture were nextNearby activities: During winter, there's snowmobiling, ice skating, sledding, and tubing nearby. I also saw a playground and hiking trails that would be nice off seasonFood & drinks: Location is at the village (Starbucks downstairs), which is really great walking distanceThe town and grocery store is a short car ride awayNoteworthy details: Owners and management were very accommodating, addressed, and answered all questions/ concerns, and were friendly

Older units, some maintained better than others. Great location within Winter Park Ski Resort. Easy access to restaurants, skiing, transportation to Winter Park/Fraser/Granby. Handicap accessible entrance and parking. Facility has a pool, most units have hot tubs. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices vary seasonally. Recommended

Great place for our family! Very clean, extremely well stocked place. Just upstairs from the Starbucks. Window in bedroom doesn't open which we would have liked on the summer. The skylight opens a bit though. Definitely recommend!
