I had the loveliest little stay at GH Winter Park. I am a member and the amenities and staff interactions did not disappoint. I was working for several days and both the rooms and the co-working space are amazing for a work/vacation stay. The hotel is nicely updated and in a great location. The bar, gym and hot tubs are great additions to the quaint mountain motel vibe.Highly recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed staying here in the past, but did not have a great experience this time around. Some things worth noting after our stay:- Half the entire parking lot was iced over and never salted or shoveled. We both slipped or fell multiple times getting to/from our room.Everyone seemed to have issues parking as we had to drive up onto snow/ice banks. Parking was further limited due to people double parking since we couldn't easily see the spaces.Poor quality / cleanliness- Tables, walls, doorways all banged up and could see obvious holes, dents, chips, scrapes, etc. The bedside table was terribly damaged.- We noticed black smudges and stains on our pillows and sheets, likely from previous customer makeup.- Floors were filthy and sticky, likely because we had a first floor room and customers walked in without wiping feet. We had dirty feet and socks from the floors.- Soaps, shampoo, etc in the shower were all on the floor when we arrived. The dispenser shelf was empty. We set it up but the bottles didn't fit in there well.Service / experience- We weren't given enough towels (there were only two of us staying) and had to go to lobby to retrieve more our first night.- We both banged our knees or stubbed our toes multiple times and still have bruises from the metal bedframe. It seemed to be too large for the space. Either arrange differently or pad it so people aren't hitting sharp metal edges.- Hot tub was not clean, the cover was ripped and falling apart in the middle. It was difficult to move off and put back on the tub due to damage and overall condition.Positives - convenient location, easy/accessible parking, friendly staff.Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend and do not find this experience worth the cost of our stay.Rooms: Minimal, no added security features, not in good condition. Definitely bring some extra water bottles so you don't have to travel to fill up stations (lobby or gym) too often.Nearby activities: Easy shuttle pickup/dropoff for people going to the slopes.Safety: No additional security features on door (only the main handle lock). Had a stranger knock on our door early in the morning and realized we didn't have a peep hole.Walkability: Can walk to/from almost everything from this location.Noteworthy details: The location is very convenient. Easy to catch the shuttles to the village. Lots of nearby restaurants and ski rental was close and easy for pickup/dropoff.

As a customer it s important to feel welcomed by the staff members and experience positive energy and quality customer service.Poorly ran operations, the staff all seem like they don t want to be working and it s a bit of a downer. It s understaff and employees seem overwhelmed.House keeping doesn t come at all during your stay, which makes it difficult to keep the room clean, have fresh towels, and dispose of trash. You have to take your own trash out and if you want house keeping, they will charge you $150 and won t service until the next day.The privacy isn t great, it s set up like a motel so everyone walking by can see you the walls and floors are very thin so lack of privacy. There are no views, you are just looking at the other building. The lobby and the gym are nice and a good addition to the hotel. Across the street ski shuttle which is convenient. Overall this is not what we were expecting.

This is a review of the bar/lounge only - I didn t stay in the hotel. The bar is super-comfortable and inviting with a variety of comfy seating, including traditional bar seating, a few long hi-tops, and several different small loungy areas with sofas and chairs with a rug and coffee table. Dogs are allowed, which adds to the relaxing, friendly vibe. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Recently they ve added a menu of tacos and other bar food, which we tried for the first time tonight. I had beef quesadillas, my wife had the tacos. They were both fantastic! The location is right in the middle of town, roughly between Hideaway Park and Cooper Creek.

Great location, good rooms, decent customer service. My partner and I were very excited for our first stay at Gravity Haus (we were considering membership), but a couple setbacks on our end/management s end made this a less enjoyable experience.Location super cute part of town, very walkable, and the built in coffee shop/ bar make this place sweetRooms they look nice and have everything you need, with a facade of glamour. Shower could definitely use a shelf to prevent from toiletries on the floor. Bathroom was out of hand soap from check in. There are also no extra towels which would be helpful for all the ski gear (or maybe a rug underneath where it hangs to prevent floor from getting wet). Bed was super cozy!! And the water was nice and hot! Also appreciated the humidifierCustomer service before arriving we called to ask about early check in (it s at 4pm) and could not get a definite answer, so we went ahead and booked the night before. It was easy to get our key when arriving after midnight.Had a hard time communicating with management about an earlier check out with refund due to complaints about our dog barking and wanting to remedy the situation. Turns out you can only do it if there s a death in the family, and I did not feel like faking one.Overall, a pretty good, easy spot to stay but only come if you don t have a bad dog that barks too much :(Safety: Some people s other dogs were able to open the door and escape the rooms! Be careful about this if you ve got a sneaky pupWalkability: Close to restaurants and shops

We came to Winter Park for a girls trip and we are so glad we chose to stay at Gravity Haus. The staff members were so awesome! They accommodated us with an early check in, gave great instructions on how to get to the slopes using Lift bus services (bus stop right across the street from hotel), and provided excellent recommendations for local eateries.Rooms: The room was more spacious in person and was fully stocked with snacks, towels, and essentials.Walkability: It is centrally located in Winter Park so you can walk to restaurants and shops. Then you also have the Lift bus stop right across to the street which is free and take riders to the ski resort and other attractions.Food & drinks: Gravity Haus is in a perfect location and there are serval restaurants and shops near by.

The location is great, located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance from shopping centers and restaurants. However, the property is advertised as a hotel and is more along the lines of a "remodeled" motel. Even after the remodeling, this place is in much need of some TLC, especially when asking for $400 a night. In retrospect, I would've stayed at the Winter Park resort when you compare the quality and price point.

Will, Tiffany & Sage made our stay top tier. They accommodated an early check in, provided a bowl and bed for my dog and were so incredibly kind. Definitely above and beyond hospitality. The lobby was a comfortable communal space with good coffee and snack options. Hot tubs were huge. Workspaces were quiet and convenient. Thanks, Gravity Haus! We ll be back - Valerie & Sola

The staff were friendly and the location in Winter Park was perfect. However, the rooms were cramped, outdated, and dirty. The parking lot and walkways were unsalted and iced over, causing us to slip multiple times while trying to get out of our rooms. The outdoor hot tubs were in dire need of repairs, and the coffee shop s coffee machine was broken for two days we were there (which isn t THAT big of a deal, but it does highlight the point that this place is in need of serious updates)

Nice hotel but it seems older inside than their website would suggest. Lots of wear and tear. I don't like that the only sink is in the "kitchen". You wash your dishes in the same place you spit out your tooth paste and has hair from my husband shaving.Heater is large and loud and takes up a lot of space in the room... absinthe an old style.Gym is really a joke. Its a nice large space but there's nothing in there. They have a1super old tread mil and an even older bike. They have a rack of dumb bells and maybe an exercise ball. And that's it. It takes up 1/4 of the space and the rest is empty.Best part is they might have the most comfortable bed ive ever had in a hotel! Great comfy pillows too. Hot tub very nice and hot!

The check-in area is in the adjacent restaurant/bar building. This place is a motel, a very old motel. While the bed was comfortable, both the rug and the bathroom were in a filthy condition. Additionally, our room was on the first floor, and the window, situated right next to the bed, lacked adequate covering. This meant that people passing by could easily see inside, which compromised our privacy. I have to come up with something to cover the window. The outside noise was quite bothersome. There was a kettle in the room but No microwave or refrigerator. Overall, we would not recommend this place for family guests.

Today, I walked in to this hotel without a reservation and requested a double bed room for my wife, a toddler and myself. I was advised there were double bed rooms available. During the checking in process, the front desk clerk explained a waiver for smoking in the room or any other incidents. Note that upon checking in, I was never advised that there was a cancellation fee in case I did not like the room for any reason. Only about 15 MINUTES after being checked in we decided that the room will not fit our needs. I went back to the front desk and explained that this is not a standard/ true double bed hotel room. There was King size bed in the room and underneath there was a small mattress. This is considered a two bed unit for this hotel. (See pictures)I told the front desk staff that this was never explained to me. Besides, there was not a microwave or refrigerator which are pretty standard in the any hotel and much more in hotel that self rates 3 STARS HOTEL.The hotel staff advised that there was a $50 cancellation fee even though to me there is a clear false advertisement and representation of what a standard DOUBLE BED HOTEL ROOM is. The manager on duty also mentioned that $50 cancellation fee covers housekeeping expenses even though I noted that the room was left untouched (see pictures). I left the hotel and found another one few blocks away. The close by hotel had a true double bed room, with microwave and refrigerator for a comparable price. I was told that the hotel general manager will contact me tomorrow to refund all monies. I hope the do the right thing and correct checking in procedures.Google did not allow to post pictures.Rooms: False representation for a double bed hotel room

I loved my first stay. Great location. Very walkable to shopping and restaurants. I enjoyed hanging out at the bar. I had an excellent espresso martini. I also enjoyed the fire pit on the patio and the outdoor hot tub facing beautiful golden aspens and the mountains. The Ethiopian coffee in the room was so delicious.Food & drinks: They have a bar and restaurant on site.

We had an amazing stay at Gravity Haus. Upon arrival, the guests and staff were so welcoming. We could tell that there is a very tight knit community there. The staff member Will was tending bar and checking people in during our entire stay and he did such an amazing job! He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed + provided great service. We will definitely be back!

The staff here was wonderful and very kind and helpful, however, the actual hotel and experience itself was on par with staying at a typical cheap roadside motel. The kitchen was closed, there were no rentals of gear available, no fitness classes as advertised, our internet/tv was out for a whole night, the dog amenities listed on the website of dog bed, bowl, and treats, and doggie guest book did not exist or were not offered, though the $50/night pet fee was charged. In addition, our sheets were absolutely covered with holes, you couldn t even run your hand over them without touching holes in the sheets. The location was great, the staff was very helpful, but overall the hotel itself was akin to the experience of a cheap motel. Disappointed with this experience and hopeful that these are just growing pains of a hotel under renovation and not a typical experience at Gravity Haus.

We had a great one night stay at gravity House, Winter Park for my wife and my anniversary. Everything is modern and there are tons of amenities lots of little things that make a hotel stay comfortable. The reception/bar area is really cool and they make good coffee and smoothies. Having a gym attached to the hotel is also great and the hot tubs work really well and were nice on a 35 morning in October. It s a tad misleading that the picture for Gravity Haus Winter Park shows a full pool when all they have is two hot tubs. Not a huge deal, but someone with kids staying here in the summer might take issue with that.Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will likely come back next time we are in Winter Park.

The rooms here are like motel 6 quality. The front door was hard to open and close like it was swollen. The bed was okay and shower had no shelf anywhere for soaps all just on the floor. Paint is coming off all doors and trim. Shower was warm not hot but our faucet was scolding hot. This lobby is great place to just hang out and drink coffe or beers on 2 floors or front outside patio so you don't have to be a guest here to enjoy that.

Gravity Haus is awesome! We have been members for the past year and love 50% off Sun-Wed & 25% off weekends. Also no dog fees for our two best friends saving us $100/n. Only feedback was the room furniture is a little dinged up & bathroom tile coming off. Reported it to mgmt & they welcomed the feedback. Breckenridge and Moab are next level. Go Gravity Haus!!!Rooms: Need a little updateNearby activities: AmazingWalkability: Best locationFood & drinks: Great bar, excited to restaurant

It's a great motel with clean rooms with reasonable priced snacks and drinks in the room and a lot of amenities on the property. My only issue with service was that there was no separate area or concierge for hotel guests; if you have a stay-related request or question, you have to wait in the cafe checkout which sometimes takes a long time since they also have to make drinks for the people ahead of you. But I definitely like the cafe area... they had good food and coffee, and a very nice outdoor area with a fire pit that was on every morning and evening when it was cooler outside. I will definitely stay here again.Walkability: It is in walking distance from pretty much anything in Winter Park.Food & drinks: Good food and drinks in the cafe. And great, super reasonably priced snacks and beverages in the rooms.... very convenient.

My husband and I stayed at Gravity Haus due to being the recipients of a Grant a Dream Vacation. Everyone was so friendly! Immediately, one of the staff members, Michaela stood out as friendly and helpful in every way. The room was quiet and had a beautiful view. Many shops and restaurants were within walking distance and we enjoyed shopping and sight-seeing. The coffee at Gravity Haus was my favorite! I miss it now that I am at home. I hope to return sometime. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Bare bones room. not clean no maid service. ripped towels, not enough towels for 2 people. Tiny room. Dirty floor no rug. Dirty looking shower. Tiny robes , Jacuzzi unappealing. No place to put skis or boots or clothes.
