I had a transmission replaced in a 2016 Ford Explorer at the Westminster Advanced Transmission Center. The service was excellent and they were able to get me in quickly when the Ford dealer was backed up six months. I have 3k miles on the new transmission and the vehicle shifts great, is very smooth and generally feels like new. The price was fair and transparent. Having to replace a transmission sucks but they made the experience as painless as possible.

I get appreciate that you guys were able to look at my car and didn't even charge me and also send me somewhere to get it fixed somewhere else because you don't do that type of work I do appreciate you and yes I would send someone to your shop if anybody ever asks me that's the place I would send them to and I give you guys five stars thank you so much and if I ever need transmission work trust me me and my wife will be going to you thank you sincerely Albert carmosino. And I do appreciate also the work you've done to my car and it was awesome to get it back thank you so much.

Short version: I waited a few months to submit my review after all the work was completed, in case something came up.These guys are stellar. They embody customer service, are direct, knowledgeable, forthright, and transparent. I respect that in a shop.So far, I'm pleased with the results. Given how they handled my concerns, I trust this shop to stand behind their work - as such they will win my future business. I'd even refer them to a friend.The details, if you need:Took my used car in for new half shaft and trans noise diagnosis (+new clutch, considering we're pulling the trans anyways). They provided a concise diagnosis/estimate according to my needs and budget. I decided to do a repair/rebuild on my transmission (wasn't required, but, what I decided would be best).While the work took a week longer than expected, the shop did everything to make it right before I even asked. Their initiative and accountability are an asset. They even followed up to ensure there weren't issues.Furthermore, I continued to hear a whine coming from the transmission, and the shop addressed this without question (under warranty).So far, so good. If necessary, I can update later on.

Went to Advance Transmissions for transmission issues in my newer model GMC Sierra. Jon and his team were professional from the get go and took in my truck that same day. The next day I was contacted and told that a deep scan showed other issues that could possibly affect the drivetrain (reason it went into limp mode). I corrected the issues that the deep scan depicted and the truck ran better and with no issues. These guys saved me time, money, and more importantly sanity. This shop is the real deal and are HONEST. They could have easily dropped the transmission and charged me, but they didn't. I appreciate them and their dignity to do right by their customers. Thanks again for all your help.

My minivan had transmission issues and I had it towed to ATC. I picked them even though they weren t the closest repair shop based on their reviews. They were super friendly and helpful once my van was towed to their location. Unfortunately, I chose not to fix my transmission due to the cost being more than my van was worth. They did not charge me for the extensive work they performed to figure out all the issues! Thank You Bill for all your help it was GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! I definitely will be referring you guys out to people I know.

I needed a new transmission in a hurry due to my job, and the folks at Advanced Transmission took care of me! John was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating; as I dropped off my vehicle in the early morning he even helped me check-in before the shop opened for the day. Got back to me in a couple of hours with a fair price (roughly half the cost of other quotes) and in 2 days time the repair on my car was complete. I couldn t be more appreciative and satisfied with their work, I will definitely recommend and use them again in the future!

I know the realization of replacing a transmission is daunting, and sometimes down right scary.Let's just say I found my transmission place for the life of all of my vehicles and the work was professional and top notch. The office staff is knowledgeable and help you through it.Also the work and parts come with a warranty giving you peace of mind.I chose Advanced off of Google reviews, and now I'm here leaving one for others to make the same decision.

My car had a transmission issue and I put it into Advanced Transmission for the free transmission test. The staff found the exact issue and replaced only the parts that needed to be replaced upon approval. The repairs were for a reasonable price and my car has been running fantastically ever since. 100% recommend Advanced Transmission and am recommending them for my friends and family who have transmission issues

These guys are AMAZING! I took my vehicle to A Affordable Transmission, spent over 6k on a rebuild and then had to bring it back because it kept slipping out of 3rd. They insisted all I needed was a tune up . I called up Advanced Transmission and told them what was going on, they told me to bring it in same day, and did a diagnostic on the spot FOR FREE! Took pictures of the codes, emailed me a very detailed description of my transmission issues and said go tell them to fix this. I offered to pay them for their time and service and they kindly refused and wished my a happy holiday Amazing

I went in for what I thought was a shot transmission that was going to cost me thousands of dollars. I had just had a different shop try to take advantage of me and was nervous but they had great reviews. I went in and they not only found a smaller issue saving me thousands, but they charged me less than the quote! I understand and you probably should as well that doesn't always happen but it speaks to their honesty and integrity.Great work, great customer service, extremely trustworthy. Call them.

I would fully recommend getting your car serviced here-- as all of the other reviews mentioned, you are absolutely getting a great service well worth the price. Bill was very professional and extremely communicative throughout the entire process as I got my transmission replaced. Would absolutely recommend!

Everything was great! I was more concerned than I needed to be with my truck. I was told everything is fine with it. I appreciate the honesty, and I am very pleased with the interaction. If there's any issues later with my truck or any of my other vehicles, I will not hesitate to bring them here.

After shopping around for an affordable reputable shop to fix the issues with my sons car. I was lucky enough to get in contact with John and I told him what was going on and what my budget was.All the other shops I contacted wanted more than the car was worth for the repair without even diagnosing it.John and his team went above and beyond to get my son back on the road and within budget!!I will return for every transmission issue I will ever have in the future and highly recommend it to everyone!Service: Transmission

First time dealing with a blown transmission, and after getting tossed around by another shop I really came to appreciate this advanced transmission center and John who handled all my calls.They were able to give me a comprehensive diagnostic (free of charge which is a huge relief), were patient while I made a decision and explored options after the diagnostic, and so far after having my car back for a week the work seems solid.Obviously it can be stressful and I'd prefer to not have to deal with car issues, but this is the first shop I've dealt with in a while where I felt well taken care of.

Advanced transmission center is awesome- they have helped us out many times in the past few years, from doing a full transmission replacement to checking in on a vehicle that was making a funny noise. My latest issue did not need a repair from them and the team was excellent at diagnosing the issue and giving advice on next steps. I love having an auto repair place that I can 100% trust :)

My 2002 tahoe started making loud grinding noises, i figured the transmission finally gave out on me.. I didn't want to jump to conclusions right away I needed a professional opinion. So I called around a few shops they kept giving me a run around.. I ended up calling advanced transmission center! And spoke to John and the guys. Really helpful Respectful. And cares for there customers.. they took my truck in the very next morning free of charge they gave me that 2nd professional opinion, gave me price estimates very helpful I will recommend to family and friends in the future.. thanks advanced transmission for your great friendly service!!!

Jon and the team at Advanced Transmission Center are clear, courteous, and trustworthy. They diagnosed the problems I was having with my old Volvo and gave me a plan of action with several options to move forward. I have not made the repairs yet, but will definitely go to Advanced Transmission Center when I do.

Excellent Shop! My clutch pedal snapped when we had the big freeze and they got me in quick. I drive an older car and we were unable to find a replacement but they wrre able repair it and get me back on the road. Very knowledgable and professional bunch who take pride in their work. Danielle was wonderful as well. Will be coming back when the need arises.

We were in Boulder from Kansas City just for a wedding and my transmission blew. I had my car at a different mechanic who quoted me $7000 and essentially told me to just sell my car. John and the team at Advanced Transmission had me tow my car to their shop where they were able to diagnose it for zero charge. They provided me a range of cost which was less than half of what the previous mechanic quoted. They went above and beyond to find a replacement part and got my car fixed for the lower range of their estimate. Happy to say I still have my car and it s running great!Service: Transmission

My car broke down and I thought it was my transmission so, with a local recommendation, I had it towed to Advanced Transmission. They realized it wasn t the transmission, but another part that had come loose and was grinding. They popped the part back in, securing the safety clip that the previous shop had failed to do, and sent me on my way. They were very responsive and kind. They aren t trying to make money off people, they actually care about what they do. Thanks!

Hands down this was the best experience I ve had at an automotive service center. I m that guy that only trusts myself to work on my truck, but there are some things I ll admit I d rather have a professional handle, transmissions is one of them. After some research online I decided I needed my transmissions flushed with fluid and filter changed to help with some minor slipping I was able experiencing. When scheduling my appointment, they walked me through the difference between a flush and a fluid change and recommended we save money and just do a fluid change because of the low mileage and light use of the truck. I dropped the truck off and let them know what I was experiencing and they mentioned they always to a diagnostic for FREE before doing any services. I dropped the truck off and got a call a few hours later explaining that they noticed the same issues I was and recommended that I call ford to see if I still have a power train warranty because they suspect there is something more going on with the transmission and they wanted to save me some money if I had that warranty. I called around and low and behold I still had the 60k mile powertrain warranty.In this day and age, how often do you get a shop doing anything for FREE and recommend that you take it elsewhere to save you money??? NEVER!!!Rest assured, if the repairs needed are not covered under my powertrain warranty, I will be bring my truck back here for them to perform the repairs.Trust me, you want to do business with this company!

I was in a few weeks ago to get a diff service and was very surprised to see one of the staff members just sitting around, playing on his phone. The phones were ringing off the hook and he was just putting them on hold, rudely I might add, then glared at the young lady who was working her tail off answering the phones, taking down appointments and checking in customers while he just sat there never even looked up to see the people were coming in or waiting. She had 4 of us in front of her and he never once offered to help. In fact, the guy was kind of a jerk I wouldn t come back in for another service except the fact Danielle was very attentive and acknowledged me and the other 2 customers before me. I felt she balanced our needs well since one guy was in a rush and myself and the other guy had questions. She got the rush job out and answered all of my questions. I was actually surprised to see how knowledgeable the young lady was about the service I was getting performed. Whoever upper management is should really look at hiring her someone to answer the phones at least. The other guy was totally dead weight.

A transmission flush really will extend your car's longevity. you need to go to Advanced transmission center. These lads will not only give you a fair price but also will do it in a timely manner. I brought my significant others' vehicle and my own, ended up very satisfied. Will definitely be coming back.

This place was great. I had an old unique transmission(5-spd from a Fiero) that had issues leaking constantly. They took the trans apart when I brought it to them and gave me a diagnosis but the parts couldn't be purchased anymore. They helped me find transmissions at the junkyard in order to combine them into a working unit, and didn't charge me much all things considered!
