I ve worked at shops for years in my past and have family who still does so I honestly I don t trust allot from the industry.. however I asked around after moving and found Mountain View and specifically Steve had a solid reputation around my community. They replaced my trucks engine and had competitive pricing compared to three other shops and dealerships in the northern Colorado area, the service was great my truck runs awesome! Great shop I ll definitely be back.

My truck broke down today and out of shear panic I called to see if I could tow my truck to their yard. The mechanics were incredibly helpful and respectful. Not only did they support me in my emotional frazzle, they were so knowledgeable about the issues my truck could be facing. They were up front and honest about everything. The level of personal and quality care that I received was like no other shop I have been to. What a blessing it was to have a small business shop like this around when I needed them the most. It is safe to say that I will be highly recommending them to all!

Went to a dealership last week, got oil changed and tires rotated. The gave a list of things that needed done. I was a little shocked the car is a 2021 with 30,000 miles. The cost at the dealership was almost $800.00. Remember they have done all the work there since buying the car 3 years ago. The funny thing is no warranty left and now they find stuff. I left and got a hold of Mountain View Automotive. I have known Steve and James for many year. They take pride in their work and very honest. Example air filter was one thing dealership said need changed, Steve brought mine and with a new one. Couldn t tell much of a difference. He didn't have to tell me. I walked out of there a little over $170.00 and know it was from fixed and looked at. They have my business! Thanks again Guys!

Hi -- I live in Washington State and my daughter lives in the Ft. Collins area. As a Dad, I wanted to find a auto repair shop that I could trust, who had fare prices, able to diagnose any issue, and who would help my daughter with her vehicle. I highly recommend Mountain View Automotive, they're good people.

Highly recommend. They got me in on short notice. Took care of my car issue and got me back on the road the same day. Steve is such a nice guy too. We will definitely continue to do business with them.

Took my 2012 JGC WK2 SRT8 to this shop. I threw a rod and blew a hole out the side of the engine. Steve was able to work with the insurance company an get all the paperwork for a crate engine. Steve and his guys were able to drop the engine and exhaust and install the new crate engine. He was able to reuse some of the old parts but for those that needed replacing, he called and explained the problem and checked with me if I wanted to replace them or not. No problems to this day. Runs like a charm, not to mention runs like new!! My only complaint if any was the length of time, it was out of my control as well as Steve's. I would definitely bring back any cars of mine. Another great experience for our household with these local mechanics. We have five vehicles, and two have found their way in and out of Mountain View Automotive; one for repair, and one for routine oil change service. This new Northern Colorado shop will be our household s go to. The mechanics are professional, service time is efficient, and prices are very reasonable. Thank you Mountain View Automotive!

Failed to diagnose, and fix a brake issue. Released vehicle in an unsafe state to drive. Brand new brakes which the shop installed LOCKED UP going down the road. When I returned the vehicle I was told it had to be another issue, ok so fix it. The shop threw a part at it which DID NOT fix the issue. On final pick up of vehicle was told they were not interested in fixing it right. Would rate 0 if it were an option.

My Dodge Ram and I are happy to have found an honest garage that will only do the necessary work. Steve and his brother are great to work with and will inform you of any other issues that might need attention. Honesty, knowledgeable repairs and great service, it does not get better than that!

Earned a new customer today. Steve got me in quickly to correct a mistake from my old mechanic (houska) who did not properly perform a simple task, leading to an oil leak in my vehicle.Steve did not charge me for this service, and performed the task quickly.The reviews do not lie. This is where you need to take your vehicle. Thank you to Steve and his team here in Wellington. Keep it local!

Called them up an hour before closing with a problem and they told me to bring in my car - had it back the next day before closing. Less than 24 hours for my car fixed when I couldn't even get an appointment with the dealership for about a week. I'd really recommend this business. Extraordinary turn-around time and from what I can tell very very fair prices. Thanks Mountain View!

Just have to say that Mountain View Automotive is a great company that you can trust. I have had my GMC truck and my wife's Explorer both worked on here and they have always treated and done us right. Thank you and I'll be back with any other work that comes up

I travel a lot and tow a trailer. I need a reliable and safe vehicle. That is exactly what I wasn't getting after multiple services at the dealership. I was being ripped off for services I didn't need and the problems never resolved. Out of frustration and concern for my vehicle I did a Google search and found this place. They got me in quickly. Test drove my car. Found the problem. Fixed the problem the same day. Gave me a discount because the bill was hurting my budget. Thank you guys!!! Now my car runs like never before. So smooth. I felt like I got a great service from real mechanics who know their stuff . I feel safe driving my vehicle again knowing that when I hit the brakes, it will stop like it is suppose to and the trailer will stop too. I would definitely recommend them and will return to them for my next service.

Steve and his team at Mountain View were great to deal with! I recently purchased a vehicle from Carvana and the brakes started making noise on day 2. Luckily for our family Mountain View performs warranty service for Carvana. After an initial phone call with the team we setup an appointment for the very next day. Not only did they resolve my issue but they also took care of all the warranty paperwork for Carvana and a third party! The shop is very clean, the waiting room was very nice, and the people were all very friendly and professional! I can't say enough good things about them! Thanks again!!!Service: Brakes

I took my Pontiac Solstice to Mountain View to have my heater fixed. The staff there were very professional and knowledgeable regarding the problem. They had it fixed very quickly, and it didn't cost as much as I was expecting! I've already referred my daughter to Mountain View for a repair on her car. Highly recommended! I made an appointment for an oil change they were on time and had a nice lobby for waiting. They put 6k miles for the next change on the sticker, which I appreciate (I ve been to places that put 2-3k miles for the next change when I get synthetic).

Took our 2008 Nissan Rogue for an oil change and thorough service review. Turn around time was great, price very reasonable and he even secured a rattle for no charge. The proposed services are reasonable and prices are more than fair. The owner, Steve, answered all of our questions including his advice on whether we should keep or get a new vehicle.We'll definitely be back!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I first heard about Mountain View Automotive from my son, he had his oil changed there. He described how nice everyone was and how quick and convenient it was.I have an older diesel pickup that needed work done on it. Steve did a great job. Finally! An auto repair shop I can trust. Steve and his team have been fantastic. Mechanics you can trust and rely on for consistent communication, fair pricing, and an accurate diagnosis. I've got to Mountain View Automotive twice already for car diagnosis and Steve performed a free brake pad inspection for no charge. Been extremely happy with my experiences and I'll be a returning customer!

My experience has been a relief so far, as I m happy that I tried and seemed to have found my go to mechanic shop. Here in Wellington!Steve got me scheduled immediately within a couple days for two separate appointments. My first vehicle issue, he simply spotted the cause and well informed me of the solution. Then we scheduled an oil change afterwards. Upon pick up, he gave me good info about my particular vehicle and really cares about properly taking care of vehicles.They offer fast, friendly service that is reasonably priced! Great experience - 10/10 I would recommend to any Wellington local or even folks from all surrounding areas. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and was very happy with the service.Everyone was ready exactly on time when I dropped off the car and when I picked it up. They even went above and beyond and did a full bumper to bumper inspection without me even asking.On top of that, they even were kind enough to make the oil change a priority when I mentioned I had forgotten that I had an appointment later in the day.Both of the gentleman I spoke with were very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I needed to get my Jeep Wrangler in for some last-minute break repairs before a long camping trip. Prices were very comparable if not better than taking it all the way into Fort Collins. They were fast and efficient and got my Jeep worked on and out the door right away. So happy to be able to shop small local businesses whenever I can. I can't say enough good things about Steve and James. Excellent customer service! We will definitely be servicing all of our vehicles here in the future.
