A+++ Professional, reasonable pricing, stellar work, HIGHLY recommended!! If you are seeking a tuner and builder, do yourself a favor and call Clint, there is a solid reason for his high Google ratings. My Challenger has been thoroughly dialed in after a cam/header/exhaust upgrade and I couldn't be happier with his work, professionalism and work ethic. the new shop is a HUGE upgrade as well, keep up the great work!

Safest tune in the state. Had several cars tuned here and they all still run years later. Plenty of drift and drag race about too! Clint does good work

I ve been to several shops around town before I found Clint at AIR. None compare to this place, my car rips now. He went above and beyond. Very pro and knowledgeable. Will take all my cars to him from now on. I d give 10 stars if I could. Thanks!!!!

My car has had nothing but problems since getting worked in there, slower than stick now and continuous warning lights on the dash. The work took MONTHS to complete. I was told they had the parts and that was not the truth. I was repeatedly put off. When I asked him investigate the problems and help me fix them, he started ghosting me. Now the car has to be taken in to have the "work" done correctly. This has cost me twice as much as it should have. Cannot recommend this place, I should be compensated for the costs for the repairs to fix AIR's work.I did, and was ignored hence the "ghosting" comment, was communicating directly to Clint, then nothing from you/him. I do have high expectations when I spend thousands of dollars. You fail to mention I also give high praise when warranted.

Clint is the man! Squeezed out extra power and fixed alot of issues my other tuner didn't. (bucking, limp mode). He even got me extra gas mileage without losing power. Highly recommend this shop!!

Clint was able to schedule me into the shop at short notice. Professional, polite, courteous at all times. Took his time listening to my questions and provide clear plan of action to tune my vehicle to top performance. Super happy with the way things turned out. Clint was able to extract maximum results in the tune and increased both HP and TQ beyond what was anticipated. A 20% increase in HP over the stock tune, and 24% increase in TQ. No mods had been done to the engine.Amazing results !! Hat's off to AIR! and Highly recommend AIR. Starting HP 325-TQ 334. Final HP 391, final TQ 414 .

Clint is a master tuner and guru car guy. He really looks to understand not only what the customer wants but what the vehicle needs. Clint works patiently, meticulously, and is methodically driven by results. Would not hesitate to recommend American Intense Racing to everyone looking to get the most out of what they run.

Clint did an amazing job on my truck,I highly recommend the team at American Intense Racing! I had my entire engine torn down to be machined and built up with a semi custom turbo kit, custom grind cam shaft, new pistons and con rods and an all new valve train. The turn around time for the entire build had my jaw on the floor! All said and done the pricing couldn't be beat! Considering the insane numbers made on the Dyno, Clint still kept my Silverado streetable thanks to the time he spent on the street tune.

Extremely knowledgeable and all around cool and laid back guys. Clints dyno tune made my SS feel like a different car. Better acceleration, shifts, sound... I can feel the difference big time. Also picked up 18 HP just from the tune. Will definitely go back to A.I.R. for tunes and parts

This review is for Clint Baxstrom at AIR (American Intense Racing). I was referred to Clint from Man Cave Detail of Westminster. I have a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate with large 2.9L Whipple supercharger. Ever since the initial installation was done by a local Lakewood shop, the truck ran poorly and would die in parking lots. After installation, the Lakewood shop was not really helpful and I sought expertise elsewhere.Enter shop #2 in Colorado Springs. The truck spent eight weeks (no exaggeration) up there in what I thought would be a perfect engine calibration/transmission calibration. The truck wouldn't idle correctly and I hated the way it drove after picking it up. What a disaster after spending thousands of dollars.Enter shop #3 (AIR): what a difference! After wasting large amounts of money on tuning and my precious time, I filled Clint in on what I had been through and told him I way pay him to make it right. I also let him know if he couldn't make it right, I would be happy to pay him to take off the supercharger and revert the vehicle back to stock. He took the time to listen and after 30 minutes of listening to me rant he told me he could "fix everything." After 90 minutes of spending time on calibrating my engine, I knew upon startup I had found what I was looking for! And after putting my foot on the gas, I thought "Clint really listened." This was my first appointment and he told me to schedule another appointment to have my transmission calibrated.I was happy to pay Clint to get the vehicle where I thought it should be. He took the time and is one of the few that even had the knowledge to tune the transmission/engine. One thing I have learned: lots can install them, but few have the knowledge base around tuning. Clint does.Clint will be the only one ever to work on my truck again. Period.

Clint does excellent work, very knowledgeable and the tunes are spot on he did a tune on my 04 supercharged Chevy truck and it runs better than it ever has like a whole different truck!!

So I work @ Brakes Plus and my manager took his 800hp got to AIR, so he recommend that I take my 2010 camaro ss to AIR to fix a tuning issue I've been having, turns out I was running way too rich, so Clint tuned it correctly and cranked out 30 more horsepower and 40 more ftlbs of torque, he even went on a test drive with me to verify it was running smoothly, and it was way better, he answered all of my questions, and he wasn't rushing though it, he took time to make sure everything was right, and to make sure I could get the most out of my service. I will definitely will be back.

any tuner will have their mix of good/bad feedback. there's just so many reasons for one experience to not go like another.that said, my experience was great. he was cordial, responded to my nitpicky requests, showed me what he was doing in the tune I'd created, and I left happy with the car even happier.

I have a 5.3 sierra I put a cam in and tried tuning myself. Ran into all kinds of issues and drivability problems. Took vehicle to a.i.r. and got all my issues addressed. Picked up 34 hp. Cold starts and drivabilty are a night and day difference plus more power. Thanks again

Took my TType regal to Clint to get some tuning done...got some extra horses out the deal & some excellent suggestions on how to improve on what I have when I m ready which I plan on doing!!! Definitely would recommend his services

I needed a new oil pressure sending unit installed on my 1999 Camaro Z28, LS6 swap with full bolt ons. A simple job that I should have done myself...but I took it to A.I.R. Clint let me know that my car was done, so I picked it up. I drove around the block and pulled over just to check things out. I notice one of my intake manifold bolts sitting on my wiper blade. Sure enough, I take a look at my intake...it had a bolt missing. These are bolts that you would torque down in sequence. I take it back to the shop and let them know that the job wasn't quite finished. I wasn't even mad...yet. Clint had the guys who worked on my car(there were two of them) finish the job. They torqued down all the bolts this time(probably because I was watching) and I was on my way again. When I got home, I decided to check the oil. I always change my own oil and was a lube tech for over three years...so I know how to read my dipstick. It was WAY overfull! It looked to be about 3 quarts overfull. Now I get mad. When I arrived at A.I.R. to drop my car off, I knew my car had been leaking oil from the broken oil pressure sending unit. So, I filled it right when I got there. They did not need to add any oil. I messaged Clint right after I found out it was overfull and let him know that I was not happy. His first response was to deny that his tech would do that. His tech wrote it down on paper that it was at the full mark. I sent Clint(Clint is the owner of A.I.R.) pictures of how overfull my dipstick showed. He said his guy added a quart and a half. Well that would have been a quart and a half to much. After he looked at the pictures, he said that it indeed looked overfull...but only about a half quart over, which isn't bad. I agree, a half quart over would not be bad. But I knew it was way more than that. The next day, I took it to a DIY shop to use a lift and drain out enough oil to bring me down to the full mark. I had to drop a more than 2 quarts of oil to be at the right level...and I haven't even checked my catch can yet. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Today, I popped my hood to check my oil(a week after getting it back from A.I.R.) and I found the hose for my air filter was left loose where it connects to the throttle body. They didn't bother to re-tighten it after taking it off. Now I'm really mad. I made the mistake of taking my car to A.I.R. I will never make that mistake again. If you care about your Camaro, T/A, Corvette, GTO etc. then I would not recommend taking it to A.I.R. I like Clint, I think he's a good guy...I really didn't want to have to write this about his shop. But after finding their third mistake, I had to let people know about the bad job they did. I will take my business elsewhere.
