Peter was terrific. They saw me on short notice to take a look at a suspected issue before I drove East to Chicago. They gave me the all clear to keep driving and most importantly peace of mind. Trustworthy and fair pricing!

Peter was absolutely fantastic! His shop is a gem in the Vail Valley and I m so glad I found it!! I had a leaking tire; Peter got me in and fixed up right away!! I will definitely be back for any other work I need!!

Our check engine light came on as we were stuck in traffic. We went to Vail Garage as they were nearby and we are so glad we did. They quickly confirmed we had a common sensor issue, cleared the error code, and assured us that it was no major concern. They didn t charge us either. Thank you Vail Garage!

All the guys here are great to work with. I bring my stock xterra and my modified wrangler here to get work done. Always happy with them!Edit: 4 years later and I still go to Peter and crew for everything we can. They do all the work on our company vehicle, and personal vehicles.

My na Miata had an issue with one of its spark plugs going down I 70, got to him the next morning and he was able to smooth it out. Amazing service if you live in the area!

Wow, what a great garage. We were heading up towards Vail Pass in our RV when we heard some clicking coming from the engine. Found Vail Garage quickly on Google and it was just a couple miles away. Drove there and was able to have Peter, the owner, look at the engine right away. He quickly saw that our fan belt was fraying and on the verge of breaking. Within 45 minutes we were back on the road and at such a fair price. Thank you Peter and Vail Garage - you really incredibly blessed us!If you are reading this review it must mean you are considering taking your car in to get it serviced - I can wholeheartedly say that they treated us fairly and I believe they will do the same for you. 5 Stars.

My vehicle had a very bad coolant leak. Every other place in the vail valley was going to have me wait for nearly 2 months due to the severity of the leak and the extensive work that needed to be done. Due to the wait time, I figured I'd give Vail Garage a try after being referred there by a coworker of mine.I have never had a more pleasant experience getting work done on my car in my life. The owner was very polite and informed me that they were quite busy and that it would take some time to get this repair done. To my surprise, they had it done in two days. In addition, the price was incredibly fair. This is the only shop in the valley that didn't try to price gouge me! I will 100 percent be using Vail Garage for all future services if needed. This place really is a hidden gem.

We went to Vail for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend. Our Dodge Journey started running hot by the time we go there and continued to do bad. Husband rented a car in the Springs to come get us and we had the Journey towed to Vail Garage and left the keys knowing it was Sunday and Monday was Memorial Day. They called first thing Tuesday morning and begin to diagnose the problem. Turns out it was a clogged radiator. In less than a week, they had one ordered, installed, and ready for pick up at our convenience, since we had to drive back from Colorado Springs. Price was very fair. They ran the vehicle through the Pass to insure it was fixed. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this business for any issues you may have while in Vail.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest, quick, reliable, friendly, cooperative.These guys are great. My car broke down in Vail so after a few phone calls with other garages in the area to I had my car towed in. They quoted me 1. The lowest price. 2. The quickest turnover. They were easy to work with and invited me right into the shop. When I was showing them my car I felt like they had been my mechanics for ages.They ordered the parts Friday when I came in and had finished my car ready for pickup by Monday. I couldn't pick it up until Wednesday but when I got in they showed me the work they had done and gave me the receipt. The work came out $50 above what the quoted me earlier but only charged me what they had originally quoted.I highly recommend this garage. If I ever have car trouble in Vail, I'm calling these guys again. (one of the workers also has a cool accent)

Peter was very honest and extremely helpful! My car was having an issue when we stopped for gas in Vail. I took it to Vail Garage and Peter got me and my family back on the road within three hours at a very honest price. Since I was on a road trip and had no idea about who to take cars to, I felt very comfortable with Vail Garage. Peter seemed like he was genuinely concerned with fixing our problem and helping us out. Our family was very grateful for his help.

Traveling to Vail from Denver & the alternator went out. No shop had availability in the next couple days, nor were they reasonably priced! Peter (the mechanic) was happy to help & priced his service reasonably in a mini crisis. Thank you :)P.s. While we were hitchhiking to Keystone to stay with a friend, the people who picked us up had great things to say about Vail Garage & reassured us we were in good hands.

These guys are AMAZING and have, on more than one occasion, kept my 2000 Dodge Ram running at affordable rates!If you have vehicle issues in the Vail valley, you re in for a bad time if you go to ANY other mechanic besides Peter and his guys.In the 8 years that I ve lived in the area, I ve been gouged more times than I care to admit, so it is absolutely refreshing to FINALLY find a crew of guys who don t screw around.Good job, dudes.

Fast and honest. Very straight forward. I called, they got me in within 30 min. Car was ready for pick up within two hours. Peter pinpointed the exact problem and fixed only what was needed. I've tried other mechanics in the area and I would recommend this one over all others. Car issues can be a gray area but I felt confidant in the service I was given. Reasonably priced as well. What more could you want.

My car's starter died last week. Peter was easy to get in touch with, looked at the car soon after I brought it in, and took care of another issue as well. The place that did my oil change in Phoenix topped off washer fluid with fluid that didn't have antifreeze. I had already stopped by another shop on my way here, which didn't look carefully at my car and told me that I only needed to find and spray de-icer on the nozzles. This didn't work because, as Peter took the time to notice and then fix, the whole tank of fluid was frozen.The work was finished quickly and the price was reasonable.

I had a few dashboard lights on. They were very nice, professional. They hooked up their diagnostic tool and explained the dash lights and cleared them for me. No cost. Also had a wobbly arm rest and they did a quick fix for me at no cost. I appreciated their service greatly!

Absolutely awesome! Had issues with the radiator while passing through on a long road trip. The guys took time right away to diagnose it. Turned out it was only a broken radiator cap, which they told us we can get from Carquest 2 miles down the road. They didn't want any money for their work. Gave them 20 bucks for coffee and drove off. Wish there were more shops like this one!

I thought I had a dead battery and Peter and Glen checked it and said it was fine. I only needed to have the connection cleaned and tightened. I really appreciated that they helped me so fast and barely charged me a fee. Please call them if you need a mechanic.

Very fast and accommodating. However tacked on extra unapproved charge for topping off coolant and washer fluid. I have both of those fluids in the back of my vehicle and didn't ask for that, so be sure you let them know if they want to do anything extra they should ask first.

These guys are the best!!! I had a rock stuck in my wheel making an awful noise and they got me right in, took off the wheel, shook out the rock, and sent me on my way at no cost. That's what I consider high quality care for the locals. I'm so appreciative of them.

We accidentally did something to my boyfriends truck while in the National forest. Called them up on a Saturday morning, guy said there was no one in the shop but he asked what our issue was then spent time on the phone with us to walk us through how to fix it ourselves (obviously a simple fix, but still!). Would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance while traveling through Vail!

Needed some direction on a noise I had.Great friendly staff. They'll recognize you after a bit. And that's cool in a transient town. Lots of goodies in the store and the gas is always a good few cents cheaper. Great if you're a local.ATM is right near the fountain soda machine.
