I stopped in yesterday with my family around 8 p.m. on my way home. I have never in my life been into a Shell gas station, or any gas station for that matter to see trash all over the women's bathroom and in the deli area. As I walked in to the bathroom, the women walking out were talking about how gross it was. The garbage in the women's stall was overflowing and used sanitary pads were on the floor. The trash near the door to the bathroom was overflowing and used paper towels littered the floor both in the hallway of the gas station and in the bathroom itself. When I walked out to the deli area at least 20 used creamer cups littered the floor as though a child opened them and threw them down in a tantrum. At the register there were two young white men standing there. Easily, one could have put a broom in his hand and cleaned up and taken out trash. After I paid I said to the stockier of the two with short scraggly dirty blond hair, "The floors in this place are the dirtiest I have ever seen. You need to clean up." He glanced at me and looked away quickly, and said "uh-huh" as though he didn't speak English well. I stood there for a second looking at him expecting something more but he said nothing and only continued looking out the window. The only thing I can think of is maybe something serious happened to the manager and his nephews who live in their mother's basements filled in to keep us going and have no idea what a broom looks like or how to take out the trash.

Very very rude woman who worked there. We are out of state and needed to cash our lotto tickets from Colorado. She said she couldn t because she was about ready to get off and to go somewhere else. . Hopefully not a representation of this beautiful town Trinidad.

Beware! So, this place required a $60 deposit on the credit card for a $24.00 gas fill up (So, $85 put on the card). What? Never had this happen. Asked for a note to show what he said and he said no notes, no pictures, no nada. Now we have to watch our bank statement for a possible overcharge of $60. Do not use this station! Will not come here again!

This place is terrible to their customers poor customer service. I know of about 20 people that has gotten kicked out of the place for minor reasons or just because they don't like the way you look. I for one example didn't understand something and the managt kept yelling at me I told him you don't have to yell at me you can talk to me like an adult and that is when he said I am 86ed he is no longer there but I still can't go there. This is the closest place I can get gas for my generator. I spend like 20 a day they need to let it go.

Just off i25. An easy place to stop at and get fuel. Pumps worked well.Clean restrooms.

John the cashier here was a HUGE HELP, me and my wife were having coolant issues and he allowed us the opportunity to collect ourselves in the shop and take our time with fixing our car. Be advised it was 8pm at night and about 15 outside, huge shoutout to him.

I will never go back. There's never any paper in the receipt dispenser. The whole purpose of paying at the pump is so you don't have to go in. Also, don't like being yelled at by the manager when I complain about it.

Went to get gas using my card at the pump. The pump stopped working all of a sudden. I called to the cashier to get help. He said he had no idea. Was overly friendly. I then went inside and told him to run my card for $15.00. Pumped the gas and left. I get the recipe in my email and the employee or it's a mess up, charged cigarettes, case of pop, candy etc. For a total of $24. Plus. Don't trust this place!!!!

This was the worst experience as a truck driver I ve ever had Went in with 3 other drivers i was running with to fuel and cash a comp check at 4:30 in the morning today and was told by the manager that he wouldn t take the check that it was probably stolen and if i wasn t happy about it it didn t matter because it was HIS discretion who he dealt with and who he decided he had to help needless to say we all walked out without fuel or coffees or cash THANK YOU!! The ironic thing is is that when we were entering the store this so called manager was sitting in a car smoking POT with some girl and came in reeking of it to disrespect me and the other drivers I entered with luckily I had my phone and taped his rudeness and will be posting it on my podcast along with your stores info and his picture. Ive never been treated so badly being a driver and a company owner with 8 trucks and I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING CALLED A THEIF AND BELITTLED BY A COMPANY THAT I SPEND 2-4000$ A MONTH PER TRUCK SD TO SAY I CHANGED MY FUEL CARDS TODAY MAKING SURE YOUR COMPANY COULD NEVER BE USED

I stopped by to get gas. I was baked. It was cold. Only needed gas. Bought a payday. Don t remember the clerks name but he was nice. Good location. I would stop by again. Felt pretty safe. I think it was on a main road I don t remember

It's a gas station but much like everything else in Trinidad it sucks. They closed before 9 so we couldn't even go in to get something to drink. If we weren't paying with a credit card at the pump I wouldn't been able to get fuel either. I would avoid this place unless you needed to be here for something.

When we visited the gas station 8/18/17 at about 8:30 a.m. a man was filling his car and smoking a cigarette. I went in to the store and told the man behind the counter. He said if the pumps caught fire, he would turn them off, but that is all he could do. I went out as the man came over to spouse to tell him he liked our rig. Spouse told him, "Man, put out that cigarette, you can't do that." So the smoker got mad and drove off in a huff. I called the Trinidad Fire Department. They said they couldn't do anything about ignorant people but the captain might go by and have a chat with them. The staff here does not understand basic safety. We will avoid this stop in future.

Just a convenient corner store, they have a table inside you can sit at and eat and scratch your lottery tickets and whatever. They don't like taking pennies but they give me free penny rolls to resolve it.

Terrible. Apparently, "bathing" is not required for employees. I literally just came from there and the radio was blasting the song "Rape Me" by Nirvana. Now, I "used to be" a Nirvana fan, but regardless, there were women and children in the store with that song blasting on full the whole time, with the words "Rape me" being blasted over and over again. I'm sorry, but do we no longer respect others? If I had gone into that store blasting some Bob Marley or Cannibal Corpse, I'd be arrested, but to have this greasy dude blasting that song with kids in the store, the manager should have his head examined for hiring this turd.

They have a great way of bringing people in by advertising the price of natural gas with the largest display ($0.30 cheaper than the gasoline) so it can be seen from the highway. It's only when you arrive at the gas station that you can read the price for gasoline. Go the Shell off exit 11, you can get a BOGO lift ticket coupon for certain Colorado resorts.

This is the craziest gas station. So busy you have to park along the other side of the road to wait. Bathrooms are on the outside with a key and dirty. They have natural gas pumps but the 45 mi tues I was there, no one used them. Everyone was waiting for unleaded gas.

Don't keep things in stock. Hot dogs but completely out of bun's. Said when you have customer buying food and noting for it.

Would buy more gas, but the pumps are always malfunctioning and stop over and over again. Very frustrating.

Buy a bottle of soda they'll charge $2 for a cup of ice to pour it in. Go somewhere else

Easy to get to off of I25 and back onto! And stop by Main Street Cannabis!
