I recently visited Grease Monkey on Washington and 88th in Thornton for an oil change, and I must say, it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. The oil change itself was done with efficiency. The team worked diligently to ensure that everything was done as I had requested, providing the synthetic oil I specifically asked for. They even changing my windshield wipers, demonstrating their dedication to comprehensive service and my safety on the road. The combination of service, attention to detail, and friendly staff made it a truly memorable visit. I recommend Grease Monkey to anyone in need of an oil change or any car maintenance needs. I m not sure how to add two reviews. One is for the actual office itself. which I give a Zero! The owners won t fix the AC apparently. They don t turn on any of the AC and it s probably 100� in here while I m waiting for my car.The service is on point. 4 stars. Kind and professional guys. They always do a great job, but I wish whoever runs this location would pay attention, I can t imagine what these guys are working in and being a customer in here I had to go outside it s too hot in here.

On December 1 I took my car in for an oil change. Yesterday on my way home I got a warning I was low on oil. I put 2 Quart in and stop by to have it looked. All they did was check the dipstick. Then told me it was a gasket. Never once looked under my car. This morning I went to the one on 104th and Colorado. Told them what happened. They were happy to help me. Guess what it wasn t gasket the filter was put on right. I will never come back to this one. If you don t want to blow your Engine I would go somewhere else.

Since June 19 I have been waiting for Grese Monkey to respond because they damaged the engine of my car by doing an oil change and not putting the screw in the oil tank, as a consequence the engine was ruined and as of August 15 they have not done to solve the problem. they left me without a car. I hope no one hires the services of this company and if anyone else has had problems with them we should come together to make a class action lawsuit. We cannot allow companies like this to abuse people.OLD POST ==== this is incredible. On June 19 I filed a complaint for the poor oil change service by not putting the cap on the oil tank causing my car to not want to drive. To date I have the car stopped at my house and they only call me to ask for more photos, more details and they do not solve the problem that they have caused me. I am almost 2 weeks without being able to use my car. They called me to tell me that they are working on my case and I am still without a car. to whoever sees this complaint NEVER USE THE SERVICE OF THIS COMPANY. NOT only do they damage your car, they do nothing to solve the problem THEY CAUSED, they just call to ask for more information, I think they are waiting for me to get tired and leave things as they are.Bad work and service. I like the friendly faces and the timely quick way that they get done. And they don't try to oversell any products to us. And they were honest about my oil filter. That I didn't need one just yet. Thank you, grease monkey. I'll be back.

This is my new go to oil change place. The team is intelligent and efficient. The friendliest place I've been to so far. Zay was also very helpful with explaining how some things work to someone who doesn't know much about cars.

Such a scam. Went in for an oil change on my brand new car. They did not replace the oil gasket. My car was in the shop for 2 weeks because of it. Now they are refusing to even refund me the oil change. This has been going on for 2 months. Unless you want to end up in court I would suggest never doing business with this company.

Horrible customer service! Also didn t put all my oil in my truck. My mechanic and husband check it the next day and told me I was cheated out of my oil. I never had a bad experience with grease monkey until I came to this location.

They worked really quickly, the waiting area was a bit crowded but it really wasn t bad. There was a heater and a water machine. The mechanics were extremely kind too.

Pass this business up. Just no. My car was still outside. I used the restroom, when I came out my car was done. Did not offer options for service, share about filter conditions. Lobby and restrooms are not clean. Website says: Oil is the lifeblood of your vehicle's engine. Changing the oil and filter according to your owner's manual specifications will keep your engine running smoothly and maintain your warranty. Every Full Service Oil Change includes the free 16-PT Inspection. No way that took place for my car. $102?! Lesson learned. I do not recommend or encourage anyone to take their car here. (No receipt as their printer is broken)

Do not go here.I arrived with no other customers present. I was told it would be 15 minutes and that it would be $93 for my car s oil change, I agreed and was asked to wait in the lobby. A half hour later I was told they didn t have my filter, that their machine misread which filter it needed. They had to call around, find an autozone that sold it, go and get it. I let them know I had a really important appointment and had to leave within 1 hour of my arrival. I asked for a ride or an accurate time frame so I could make arrangements, they couldn t do either because now their 4 employees became 2 and they were now working on another vehicle. I asked if they could just close my car up and I d come back, they said they d have to charge me for the oil anyway since they already dumped mine. So now I m being held, with my car parts open, without an end time or reassurance, and not one apology.An hour after I arrived someone came with the filter and someone declared finally, see patience is a virtue to me. I hadn t been rude up until this point, now I was just angry in addition to being late. They closed up my car and brought it around, told me someone would ring me up and then no one was to be found. I had to walk around, call out, and finally got someone who was charging me $40 more than I was quoted. I m again, already late, but I ask for the manager anyway since he was who told me the price to begin with. He says oh, your car took more oil than we knew, so it s more than I quoted you. He gave me a discount which still put the total above what he quoted me and said well that s close enough right?. I m done being taken advantage and my husband is calling me knowing how upset I ve been stuck here and he speaks to the manager (Scott btw), who says there was a misunderstanding. Which I didn t realize is what you call it nowadays when you completely lie about the price and the wait time. I decide I just need to take my car and leave. I pay the higher price, yet generously discounted for me. They also wanted me to know they paid more for my part too, which was generous of them. No accountability for their lack of knowledge in what they re selling. This place clearly isn t trust worthy and now I have to wonder if they even properly changed my oil. Had I known the accurate price, wait time, or rudeness I would experience here I would have gone to one of the no less than 3 other oil change places along this street.

So I just noticed that they no longer vacuum inside due to COVID-19 yet they still get in your car to drive in, there are others working there now and they didn't show the same work ethic as the ladies before!! new update She won $20 great guess.Very polite and respectful Team willing to Help in any way,for your car oil change also AC in lobby , water and across street Food if hungry if not Sun Honda is nextdoor ! They do get oil changes done pretty quickly. Ask about special's they may be having! Thanks ladies for the professionalism !!

This particular grease monkey will ruin your life. Seriously.Their mechanic didn't reinstall the drainage plug correctly during the oil change which caused all the oil to fall out of my car. My car almost came to a halt on Washington St, which is a busy street which could have resulted in an accident. I had to coast into a parking lot and now my engine is knocking. The cost to repair my car because of the negligence of their mechanic is $21,000+. The manager who worked there for some reason gave the omission of admitting that something like this has happened before. Both their management AND the regional manager gave me the run around on the phone and refuse to acknowledge their mistakes.The wild thing is that the mechanic who did this was dumb enough to show my air filter to me, which was brand new save for one small dark spot on it and tell me it needed to be replaced, and then showed an actual dirty one to a young couple sitting right next to me and make the exact same sales pitch to them.I don't think every Grease Monkey is like this, but this particular location is a HUGE red flag. Do yourself a favor and don't let these guys anywhere near your car. These guys aren't a bunch of clowns, they're the whole circus.

we took our car to get the oil changed and after driving around for a bit the car shut off. We had to call a tow truck and he informed us that the oil had been completely emptied. My father went back to this grease monkey to inform them of what had happened hoping to find a resolution and was met with an aggressive and unbelievably rude manager named "Scott". He yelled insults at us and even claimed we had messed with the car. We have been getting our oil changed here for years and I can't believe we were treated this way... The company took no accountability and we are beyond outraged with this behavior. We have made a complaint with the BBB and we will continue seeking further ramifications for not only ruining our car but the horrific customer service. If the owner reads this that manager deserves to be fired.3 week update: future customers beware. I managed to speak with the district manager and absolutely nothing was done. We had our car checked by a different mechanic and the car is 100% unusable now. And all we asked for was for them to at least check the car and for an apology and we received neither of these things. Not only do we no longer have a working car but had to spend even more money to hire someone else. This seems to be a trend at this location and most of these issues seem to only happen to Latino people. It's good to know that Grease Monkey is a dishonest and most likely racist company that regularly screws people over and does nothing to fix it. To anyone reading this NEVER GO HERE!

Place is clean, staff is quick and to the point. Fast service and nothing was missed. And as always my truck was running perfectly and smelling good. I always enjoy Grease Monkey service and will continue to use this location.

It is the worst place where you can take your car, they are going to charge you 3 times more than what it could be worth elsewhere, they are extremely dishonest, they give you a price when you arrive and when you go to check out they charge you many more things than the ones they told you.
