Every single person at Ace is helpful to me looking extensively for strange tools. Thinking of innovative solutions when they don't have exactly what I need and also listening and thinking of where they've seen it and how I can find it. I needed to pull a rubber coil boot out of a deep spark plug hole. I described my problem one fellow said it sounds like you need a dental pick. And another fellow said I saw something like that in the bin downstairs. I went and dug thru the bin and found the picks!!! And sure enough I was able to the the rubber piece unstuck and fix my truck. Wow! Thanks folks ace! Good at listening thinking of solutions and finding the right tools! Excellent!

This feels like spitting into the wind, but here you go - For the second time, I drove the 26 miles round trip on a weekend to pick up something at Timberline Ace Hardware that I had called to make certain was in stock before driving that distance, but was not actually in stock.This time I called to see if they had any 2x6 lumber, was told, yes they did. I made the lap to pick up the one stick of wood needed to finish a project on a Saturday, when the other hardware store, Alpine Lumber, was closed. Looking around for the wood, the owner, Tom, asked if he could help me find anything. I replied that I was looking for their 2x6s. "We don't have any," was the reply.""Well, I called and...""We don't have any," he interrupted."But, I spoke with a woman...""We don't have any. I'll speak to her." was his final statement on the matter.If there had been the slightest hint of an apology, any bit of empathy, the vaguest bit of an attempt to serve his customer, instead of his curt, borderline rude response, I'd have let this go, because of course, mistakes happen.As the only place in town on weekends, the owner apparently doesn't feel the need to live up to the Ace trademark of, "the helpful Hardware folks..." There you go, my spit into the wind...

Worst costomer service I've ever had. The guy never looked up from his phone. When paying, had to ask him if that was it. grabbed my own recept off the printer.

Outstanding service from Corey who helped me get a reciept that I lost so I could claim on my Yeti warranty also Aron(Erin?) Who knew all about Yeti and sold me the backpack even though it wasn't in the colour I wanted. Excellent experience. Really great staff and shop all round. Thank you!

Everything in this small town is great even the hardware store . You will find many items cards, candles and many other household items . Also anything needed to fix or repair or replace its got it .

as much as i like ace hardware's around the country and especially this one, their hours do not match up with what they have posted online and for that reason i cannot rely on them. They aren't open to 6pm. As of now i just walked up at 5:30 and they are closed up. Made a trip for no reason. Doesn't matter how awesome the store is, you all have to provide the correct info.

I just love this hardware store. I love most hardware stores but this Ace in particular has everything. I could wander for hours. Friendly helpful staff and there are always enough employees around that you don't have to look for help. What can I say? Ace is the Place!

Very unique merchandising to take advantage of expensive real estate! A little bit cramped, but certainly justified. If you need hardware, tools and a lot of other things, this is the place to go. Nice staff too!

The only place you can find a drawstring bag in Telluride if you decide you are going on a last minute hike and don't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. The staff was kind and helpful, the store seemed a bit cramped, but it was definitely an "anything you need, we've got it" kind of place. Definitely handy in a small town.

Pretty disappointed in my purchase from this store. I sent my husband to buy sleds for our kids so we could go to the sled hill down the road for some cheap fun. Talk about cheap!!!! He purchased 2 of the inexpensive sleds made of plastic that say the are 2 person sleds made for children and adults. We were all excited to go have some fun and the 2 sleds lasted us a total of about 30 seconds before they broke into about 4 pieces. It took longer to drag them up the hill than the sleds actually lasted. First time down they literally fell apart. I knew that the hardware store wouldn t give us our money back so I didn t try but we cannot be the first ones to have this problem. I m sure they sell these POS s left and right since this is a tourist town. Should not even be selling something that is so worthless just makes me wary of buying anything from there.

Found what I wanted, but both salespeople at checkout had masks on their chins. Pretty disappointing, given the prevalence of the delta variant, not to mention THE SIGN RIGHT ON THE COUNTER SAYING MASKS ARE MANDATORY

Always quick to help, good selection of everything a home owner or visitor needs. Camping, auto, and of course hardware. My boy has to be drug out of the to section!
