These guys are great, very fair and honest. Tyler towed me out and Clay diagnosed and fixed my Jeep in hours. Back on the road with a much less expensive fix than I was anticipating! Kudos TTire!!

Owner of Telluride Towing (and Telluride Tires and Auto) is very unprofessional and rude. Had my rental towed, which wasn't their fault, but when asking where the car was located after I paid my fees, I was told Checkpoint Charlie, which is some colloquial term apparently. After being unable to locate the car, I called the following morning and asked for more details like an address or something, I was given more attitude and told "it's really freaking simple", which was unnecessary.Next time just say it's across from the west side of Butcher Creek Drive on the south side of the road, or it's a little less than a quarter mile west of the roundabout in town. Just because you can't communicate directions in a normal way doesn't mean I deserve grief.

We had our telluride express bus door with all our luggage stuck inside of it and these guys at telluride tire and auto saved the day! A huge thank you to the 2 gentleman that came out and got us into the door right at closing time.Really appreciate it!

Stuart came immediately with his tow truck and helped out myself and another teacher. He was kind and generous on top of getting us out of a bad predicament.

Stuart was great and was able to get my trailer off the mountain where I left it after an accident. He did it for a lot less than the tow company I called in montrose. He is trust worthy, honest, and a company you can trust.

Thank you, Stuart and Tyler! I was alone and without help and needed towing assistance, as the sun began to set and offices/services were closing and shutting down for the day. Even though there were options closer to me, they weren t willing to help. Stuart, at Telluride Towing, responded immediately and sent help on the way. The tow driver, Tyler, was courteous and kind and went out of his way to help me. It s so nice to find good people willing to do good work these days!! Don t hesitate to call them if you need their services!! Highly recommended!!!

The owner was aggressive, his associate rude.Nothing was clear, nothing was explained. Questions were grudgingly answered with curt, incomplete answers.Every time I spoke I was cut off and humiliated.Basically, the owner is a bully.You do not have to expose yourself to such treatment.Happily, there is another tire company in Telluride.

We discovered on a Wednesday evening that our rental car had a dead battery, putting a pall on the likelihood of making an early Thursday morning commitment. The world-famous rental car agency that provided the car was unable to find anyone to help us in time as was an auto insurer celebrated for roadside assistance. We found Stuart at Telluride Tire and Auto service who saved us and our plans. And he did so at considerable inconvenience to himself--working from roughly 6 to 9 pm with our car to get us on the road by early the next morning. It was the best customer service I have received in the last 40 years.

Stuart was Great to work with. Our car has a stupid size tire. He had His parents bring a set down from Montrose !!! He got Us in right away. Mounted and Balance in 30 minutes. Out the door. Exceptional customer service. If We ever need tires and are in the area, We will be back. Thank You So Much !!!

We were on a 12 day camping adventure through the mountains when our transmission started acting up. Over an hour drive from any transmission able shop, the crew here went above and beyond to squeeze us into a booked schedule and evaluated our needs and abilities for the situation. This valuable information allowed for us to waste no vacation time, drive an hour in the right direction for the needed repairs. Awesome people and CS.

We had our motorhome high center in a ditch at the top of Norwood hill, which is 33 miles or 46 minutes from Telluride. The state patrol called Telluride Towing to pull us out, so we had no choice in who was called. Stuart came & pulled us out, but charged for an hour each way plus an hour to pull us out and then became very surly when he found out it had togo thru insurance instead ofpaying onsite with CC. Insurance agreed to pay him right away, which they are doing as soon as he returns a W9. However, he keeps calling us that they haven't contacted him, which they have (we've been on the phone, also), and threatening us after only 3 days.

Stewart is an amazing businessman and kind human. Last week my beloved truck was totaled by a careless driver. Stewart took the time to answer my half dozen calls, tow and secure the vehicle until the paperwork was being worked out. We are so lucky to have him in these mountains. He and his staff go the extra mile and he made a stressful time run smoother.

Just had a rock solid experience with these guys! We re from out of town and drive an older Range Rover that had a sudden coolant leak. They got me in and diagnosed the issue quickly and accurately...when the needed hose didn t arrive on the truck today he solved the problem with a fix that will get us home before closing for the weekend. We were fairly and honestly dealt with. The facility is clean and stylish and I was blown away by the impressive staff and level of service. Thank you!!

A very kind woman working at Conoco referred me here saying that they were "good guys." This referral couldn't be not accurate. Stuart and the guys working here are wonderful. My Jeep was unstable driving and they quickly determined the issue. They explained different options and resources around town and made sure I was on my way in no time. Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. I can't recommend Telluride Tire and Auto highly enough.

I totalled my car and life was pretty bleak at that moment. Telluride towing winched my car out of the creek, treated me respect and dignity and showed a level of compassion that I was not expecting. They gave me a ride into town and since it was late and everything was closed they let me stay in the truck with my dog until my ride arrived around 1:30am. Awesome company even in the bleakest of moments.

On vacation, and we noticed that our drive's side rear tire was leaking air. We were able to make it to Telluride Tire & Auto Service. They worked us into their schedule (even though they were busy and short staffed because of Covid). They diagnosed it as a nail in the tire, and patched it within an hour. Charge was only $40. Met the owner and his brother, and they were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Telluride Tire & Auto Service. Great service!!!

Tellurides auto shops are few and far between, but this gem is amazing. My friend and I were in quite a stressful situation when our car broke down at a local campsite. Even though not technically open on weekends, Stuart was willing to let us use his lobby and help us sort out our car troubles. On top of his willingness to help, the interior of the auto shop is so clean and well decorated.

I am from New Mexico but I travel to Telluride several times a year. This last trip I was in town park and my Suburban developed a horrible sound and strange shifting behavior. I was afraid that I had lost the transmission. Not a good situation for me.I called up Telluride Tire and Auto and they worked out a very convenient time to come and tow my vehicle to the shop which was great because it helped my camping and travel logistics saving me money.And then right away when we got to the shop they got my Suburban on the lift and troubleshot the problem. I thought that potentially I was in for a serious problem and big bucks. I was really worried and vulnerable being on the road alone without backup.But the folks at Telluride Tire were super honest and treated me right. My poor old vehicle was just stuck in between 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. Thus the terrifying shifting symptoms. They got it unstuck and back in 2 wheel drive and gave me an explanation of the condition of my Suburban and my options.The long and short of it was I only was charged for the tow and a half an hour of shop time. So... I feel like they really treated me right and gave me a great deal and got me back on the road in record time.I super appreciate the help, honestly and fair pricing.Thank youLisa Wilder

Quick, reasonably priced tire service! A low tire pressure warning popped up on my way to work this morning. I made it to Telluride Tire and Auto Service before it was completely flat. They got my car right in, the tire patched, and had me back on the road in under an hour. Nice!

These guys screw locals(in all situations) and prefer rich tourists in emergency situations. Can you blame them? They flirt at the counter with obviously out of town Porsche owners. But ignore scruffy looking hard working, just trying to get home types like me. Can you blame them? These people used to be the only shop in town. I hope competition in the area will raise their service standards. But, I doubt it.

I was off-roading and lost a sway bar nut. It was 445pm, and all the hardware stores had closed. I happened to see Telluride Tire and Auto Service, and stopped by near closing. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable, and immediately went to work on my Jeep! These guys are life-savers as I planned another off-road trip the next morning. Appreciate you guys!

Great company and service! The technical know how of Stuart, the owner and assistant Todd, to retrieve a fliped over wrecked 39 ft RV off a mountain and move it was impressive. The owner directed us to get a rental car and let us have access to our vehicle. Fantastic people to work with.

PRICE GAUGING- do not take your car here for service unless you want to play triple the price of what it normally costs. Taking your car to durango or montrose is a far better option. Normally it s 45 dollars to get my oil changed; paid 181 dollars at telluride tire and auto.

I went while we were on vacation and the tire light came on. They were busy but got to my car quickly and checked the tires, found two low on air and checked them for leaks. I expected a much longer wait but they got me in and out quickly and declined my offer to pay for the top up. Highly recommended.

I've been using these guys for about 19 years now. And they never disappoint. They recently moved to new, modern facilities that really boosted their operation in high-gear. Usually, it is just for a change of snow-tires, but also buying tires, and (heaven-forbid) they are the first liaison between your crunched car and an insurance claim! They do great work in all aspects.

Was here yesterday for a vehicle vibration that came on suddenly. Got us in with no problem, unlike other auto repair businesses in Telluride. Did a thorough inspection and we were on our wsy. Very friendly staff and willing to help out, in a time crunch!

I was on vacation and Stuart and the shop were able to take my car in on very short notice. They made my first car breakdown a very positive experience and I m extremely grateful for their help and service. Very kind and reliable people. Would recommend this auto shop over the other in town to anyone in need of car help!

We were stuck and needed a winch out. We were treated more than fair. He responded super fast and took care of us quickly and we were down the road. We were in a bad spot and he could have demanded a lot of money, but he treated us fair, probably better than we deserve for making him come all that way on a Saturday night. So nice to run into decent folks!
