The 1 star is for the service, the guy at the front desk was very nice. The room was disgusting. If we weren t so tired from traveling we would have found somewhere else. The bedding & pillows smelled like B.O., there were pubes in the bath tub and flies floating in the toilet. It was pretty evident that the room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The indoor pool & hot tub are drained, and the public bathrooms are also disgusting and broke down. All of this for $110! 100% not worth it, might as well have gone down the road to the Holiday Inn.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. The plumbing was backing up in two rooms we were given, hair and black dirt in sink. In third room we discovered bed bugs on the second night, eek! Reported to staff but they did not seem concerned. Rooms were not clean. Found blood on toilet top and wall. Rooms are in need of repair.Safety: Outside doors, not main entrance, were not locked at night. Anyone could walk in.

I want to start by saying that the people at the front desk were very nice and well mannered. The room however... it was disgusting. There were so many stains on the floor and mold on the walls in the bathroom, but at least the AC worked nicely. They say you get what you pay for, but I've gotten better for less. There was also a man smoking weed and hacking up a lung right next to the main entrance, which made it super uncomfortable to go check out of our room. Again, the people at the desk were helpful and nice, but the room was atrocious.

This hotel is nasty. The room smelled awful like sewer. The AC ran so loud- made it difficult to sleep. The shower didn t work- no running water from shower head. Could only bathe- water was cloudy. Big gaping hole in the shower wall- it was plugged with plastic bags. Tub was stained. Carpet was dirty and patchy. Most of it was greenish but in area where there may have been holes it was patched with red carpet. Bed was the only thing that was clean and comfortable. Hotel offered breakfast but we decided to skip due to the state and cleanliness of the hotel. Wouldn t recommend needs major updates- I would recommend the company bulldoze it down and start over.

DO NOT BOOK! Absolutely disgusting place, our room looked like it hadn t been cleaned in months, there were feathers from birds in the room! Flies, dust, urine soaked mattresses, musty, absolutely dilapidated! Only nice thing was the staff who had nice personalities, but they were smoking a cigarette at the front desk. 0/10 stars for me! Let s hope we don t leave with lice or bedbugs!

BED BUG INFESTATION. DO NOT BOOK. Rooms were gross and many bedbugs were found. Do NOT stay here. Desk people were kind and accommodating but claimed to have never had bedbugs till now (a lie). AVOID THIS HOTEL.Rooms: BED BUGS. Rooms were gross and not very clean! The carpet means there are probably bed bugs EVERYWHERESafety: BED BUGS. Health hazard. Rooms not clean enough.

If you re just looking for a bed and a roof, this place is fine for a night but wouldn t recommend staying longer. My husband and I needed somewhere to stay on our cross country trip. Don t expect a fancy hotel, it s old and the blankets on the bed had hair in them. It does have a shower and a tv though, but if you re looking for something nicer just keep looking!

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!! (Stars were only given as to post review)This is the most dispicable place to call itself a hotel. The place is so run down it should literally be demolished. It is obvious this place hasn't been given ANY attention for years!! Bedskirts were torn and hanging off the beds, bedspread old and worn out along with blankets. Window coverings dirty and tatterd. Cleanliness was at best average. Paint on walls worn off and holes in the walls. Overall feel to the place was disgusting. Not a safe feeling. Went to use the bathroom sink which wouldn't drain properly and a green salad mixtute came up in the sink.By the way, if you think you will choose another hotel in the area/next door, DON'T! All 4 hotels in the same area are owned by the same corporation. That includes Comfort Inn.

This hotel has some really incredible employees!! They have gone above and beyond any expectations I had. They have been more than accommodating and so helpful and friendly!!! If you stay here, you will be very happy I m sure of itSafety: I feel very comfortable and safe at this place

01/06/23Tonight there is a young woman and a male at the front desk. I m giving this hotel 4 stars based on the customer service of this man. He was kind, helpful and professional.If he isn t already a lead or supervisor I highly recommend he be promoted to one, I believe he has the skills to help teach the younger generation excellent customer service skills.Thank you sir for your kindness!

I just got this room as a quick sleep before leaving town, all week I stayed at a different hotel just for the reasons I m going to list. But I had already checked out of the other and needed a cheap bed.Pool always is out of service when I am planning a reservation. This time they had put chlorine in and it had to wait a couple days. Then the breakfast is just waffles, toast, yogurt, and drinks. I d like a full breakfast with eggs and meat, not everyone likes a sweet breakfast. In the morning I realized that the card lock on our door didn t even work!Top it all off, I had family leave two kids booster seats on top of my suv because they were left in their car late at night when they were leaving about 2am, come 10am when I m checking out the booster seats are gone. Ask the front desk if anything was turned in, nope. Ended up looking in the dumpster across from the parking lot and found them! I had to climb in to retrieve them!! No one could just leave them be? They were obviously out there intentionally. And no clue who did it because they don t have parking lot cameras. Was not happy at all when I left. And all I got was an I m sorry .

Room was filthy,sink was making noise and had sewage in it as drainage was coming in, changed rooms same thing, went back to original room , had to fill sink with water to keep it from exploding with sewage and groaning all night . People upstairs had a effing gremlin making noise until 1230am, hallway was filled with pot smoke, and loud music coming from rm 124 until 11pm,going to contact franchise authorities and see what Colorado A.G. says, needs to be shut down, try to get a hold of owners and it's a run around since they own comfort inn right next door.AVOID THESE MOTELS, I will bypass Sterling and go to anywhere else. AVOID, AVOID

$72 tax and all, it wasnt bad for a overnight sleep, it was clean and quiet, bed seemed a bit on the stiff side. Coffee was in the room, decor is 70's. Its all dated. But seemed clean. We didn't swim but looked around. Pool/hot tub appeared clean. Workout room was full of equipment. Breakfast was as stated and for the price to sleep eat and leave. Should we need a overnight. Would stay again. We did stay on 2nd fl. Staff stated pets are for 1st floor usage

This place was awful! Do not stay here! If I could give zero stars I would. The rooms were gross and the staff was very unprofessional.When we arrived we were given three different disgusting rooms until we got one that worked. The first room we got was full of moths. There were moths all over the beds, walls, and in the curtains. The next room we were given was worse. As soon as we opened the door the room immediately smelled of death. There was puke all over the floor and had been there a while and not cleaned up. The third room we were given had not yet been cleaned and looked liked someone was still staying there.It was a late night so we stayed in the forth room. When I asked about a refund the next morning I was told I would get a call from the manager soon. I never got a call. I stopped again on the way back through after our vacation. When I asked about a refund the manager was very confrontational and threatened to call the cops. I was just asking about a refund for terrible rooms! We left. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in!! We arrived just before 1am and were thankful there was a room available. As soon as we walked in there was a foul smell. A short time later, sat on one of the beds and it tilted toward one corner. Used the bathroom and noticed the corner of the carpet pulled up with sharp metal piece protruding. Should have went up and complained but was very tired from long day of travel. Slept a few hours with a t-shirt over my nose and mouth. Woke up and saw what appeared to be a cockroach on the wall which scurried away. Did not shower in the morning as the shower had a nasty stain and long hair in / on it. Chest and lungs felt bad in the morning. Complained to clerk and told to call the manager. Manager said there was nothing he could do and that the room was fine. Manager said we should have complained that night. I would give ZERO stars if I could!DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE BREATHING ISSUES! Trying to get a refund through corporate now. Should hear back in a week.

This was a quiet lil hotel right on the outskirts of town very clean. The only reasons on not giving a full 5 stars is because the ac unit did this crazy buzzing to come on while in auto mode and the indoor pool was not open. Be prepared to bring your things up the stairs because I don't believe we ever found an elevator. Other than that the stay was very pleasant. The only staff i ran into was the desk clerk and he was very polite had a small comforting conversation while I purchased my snacks. If by any chance I'm in Sterling Colorado at any moment I will be staying here again

Should be called Not Very. Not very clean hallways, pool area and carpets. Staff was friendly and the price was too high for the accommodations. Room was spotless except for the grungy carpet in my room. Bed linen and towels were nice and clean..Old fixtures and a lingering odor. Flies everywhere. No security doors and trash throughout the exterior of the building. The lobby is nice so there is no indication that the facilities are so worn out. It did appear they were getting new beds though.. Wouldn't recommend especially if you have children along. I didn't try breakfast.

I stayed here a long time ago. But when I did stay, it was a very pleasant experience. I was there this time to help a lady to pick up her hire sheet to fill out so she could start work.I'm very happy an thankful to this place for giving her a job. This lady they hired I do not know very well, but have a young child an needed this job to get ahead an to support her Lil family. Thank you so very much.

I called before I booked to ask if they had a hot tub and I was told yes. They in fact do not. What they have is a kiddie pool and a full size pool that we're riddled with huge bugs. One of the beds in the room was unusable due to the fact no matter what you did or where you laid it tipped off of the frame. And we were not alone in the room; something ate at our snacks while we stayed there.We won't be back

The entire place (and our room) smelled vaguely like a highway reststop bathroom. It is a distinct smell from the surrounding ranch aroma.A little run down. Carpet was peeling. Toilet flush was slow and acted like it was partially clogged already.

This Super 8 is Super Slum!!! It is the 2nd worst room I have ever stayed in. My fault for not doing a walkthru before paying. It was very late and I was exhausted from traveling.The parking lot was dirty. Had beer bottles and garbage on it. Very little lighting at the room entrance door. No security into the building. The door was so old that it was hard to open. The threshold was red duct tape. The bathroom faucet was wobbly.The paint and tile were an old combination of several paint patches . It s almost comical how many paint colors there were. The good news is the beds were good. Good mattress, sheets and ok hard little square pillows. The floors were not well cleaned. The front desk lady was very professional.For $70 you get a nice bed, hot shower and clean towels.

Don't take your family here, if you can help it just drive an extra hour. **Definitely a front**-bags of garbage piled throughout the building-no security, any crackhead can enter the building -weak, shakey room door-rooms are not cleaned for real-broken furniture-musty and stuffy air-my brother pointed out that the pictures in the room are supposed to have the super 8 logo but they don't -located near a correctional facility Otherwise, you know, its a bed to sleep in.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO SLEEP WITH MICE!!I would give this place a zero if I could. The staff was great and not their fault but we woke up at 4am to a mouse trying to get in our food. We even saw it run across the floor.They offered us a different room which I refused because I wanted to get the heck out of there. The staff then informed us that it s really common that there is mice there. They have side doors that are not even locked and stay partial open . A good way for the mice to come in and find a home.Spend the extra money to stay at the Holiday Inn.Wyndham owes Super 8 and I am not impressed with them or their customer service and refuse to ever stay in a place owed by them again!!!
