After traveling from out of state and hitting a deer in the middle of the night I found myself in a stranded situation with my daughter. Every staff member I interacted with at this hotel was kind and compassionate, our room was clean and comfortable. From answering all of my questions, helping me look up things and even going so far as to providing us a ride to the train station 40 mi away.. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much to the staff at the Ramada for helping us so much in such an unexpected event.

this place is really well designedthe rooms are really really nicethe bed is a little hard but that's because I'm used to asleep numberanyone who's traveling and wants to stop at Sterling truckers or someone that just gets stuck I would definitely definitely go herethey have a restaurant I did not use it they have morning breakfast did not use it they have a swimming pool did not use it so I'm not going to say anything about thosemy only suggestion if you don't like waking up in the morning to put a towel underneath the door so the light doesn't hit you in the morning cuz that light is bright coming through the bottom of the door

What a terrible experience. The two girls at the front were so young - no one with experience near by. Our first room had a cockroach crawling on the floor so we asked for another room and told the girls at the front desk about our experience & their response was that s what happens when the hotel is next to a field .The other room we ended up with wasn t much better. Moths flying everywhere and the room was really outdated. Not very cozy or welcoming. Beds were terrible & to top it off we woke up during the night with the flat sheet off the bed and to our surprise the disgusting mattress exposed. It s horrible - absolutely disgusting. I m honestly at a lost for words. Blood stains / period stains is my guess . gross. See the attached picture. How can they offer such disgust to paying customers. We will definitely be staying away from another Ramada.Rooms: outdated and gross

Not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but the rooms are in dire need of updating. The room had a nasty musty smell to it. The carpet had either blood stains or wine stains on it and my feet stuck to it in places. The lampshades were nasty and old. The electrical socket sparked when I put my charger in and was loose in the wall. The bathroom was the nicest part, but the fan on the hole in the ceiling was just thick with dust. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but the restaurant was closed. This hotel as a last resort, sure, but other than that I would not recommend.

Pool was closed for a pump issue. Restaurant was closed too. Bar closed too. Breakfast was a brown bagged grab n go with individually wrapped Danish, juice box, fruit cup and a granola bar. I booked here for the fresh hot breakfast by Ramada, and for the pool. I liked the bed, but the hubby said it was hard. Carpet was stained with burn marks. Bathroom light did not work, had to use the fan light. The counter was like kid height, so low and I'm only 5'4", and it was low for me. Clean sheets and surfaces were clean. Would not stay here again unless everything was open.

This place is not safe for human habitation and needs to be condemned. The first room I got was swarming with dozens of various insects and had serious water damage and mold. The second room had some insects, as well as a massive blood stain on the mattress. They refused to give a refund when I cancelled my reservation to stay at a habitable hotel. I am currently pursuing a chargeback with my bank, and I have filed a complaint with the Logan County Health Department. Do not stay here.

Under no circumstances should anyone EVER stay in this Hotel. I've never been to a more disgusting facility. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by flies swarming everywhere. The lobby also felt like it was about 110 degrees. The front doors had smudge marks all over them. They clearly hadn't been cleaned in weeks or even months. When we got into our room, we had about 100 flies in there. That is unacceptable!! How is this allowed?? We requested another room, which thankfully didn't have any flies in it. However, one of the mattress sheets had what looked like a coffee stain on it. The girl at the front desk was super young and clearly didn't have any experience. This hotel is an absolute travesty and should be condemned.

The good: It was a place to stay with two comfortable beds and the breakfast in a bag was nice gesture. Not so good: Just need to do a thorough cleaning of the rooms, keep the doors shut and get the crickets and grasshoppers indoor under control, and get the pool working and it can be a nice hotel.

Other hotels were full, and this had a great price. Interesting building. Rooms should be cleaner, a good attempt was made. Hard to get help these days so we understand. But they could work on cleaning the rooms a little better. Very nice people though.Food & drinks: They provided a really nice take away breakfast. Orange juice, breakfast rolls, and nutrigrain bars. Clever idea and good.

Unfortunately this place did not meet our expectations at all. The original room we checked into was filthy. These rooms need serious updating. It s clear that corporate and management are not concerned with upkeep of this place. Deep clean ASAP!Courtney, however, really saved the day. We explained that our room was not okay, and she gladly made sure that we got into a new room that is much better. Please do something to take of her. Give her better pay, give her a bonus give her something. She is running this place all by herself at night and making the best of what is a very rundown establishment.Go Courtney! Ramada, do better!

Stayed here thinking it would be like all other Ramanda Hotels, was soon disappointed. Room was full of flies. No regular coffee. Ice machine did not work. Pool and restaurant closed. Bathroom light broke. Crickets were everywhere. The lady upon checkout was friendly though. Needless we slept and left at 3am the next morning.

Unbelievable. The pricing is competitive to nearby hotels but this is by far the dirtiest place I've ever seen. My first room had stains all over the carpet and furniture. Exposed wires and outlets without covers. Phone was destroyed and didn't work. Bathroom fan was caked in lint and dirt. Bathtub stopper did not work. Hot water took about 10-15 minutes of running water to warm up. I saw bed bugs and went to switch rooms.2nd room was a bit cleaner until I found 3 half drunk cans of Keystone light in a cabinet. Fridge door fell off and red stains on the carpet (wine maybe blood?) Then found empty cans behind the couch along with empty cans of wall texturing. Some lamps did not work. This bathroom did not have hot water at all. Contacted employees and they didn't care about the safety issues or room quality, seemed unsurprised when I told them about the issues. Rooms are not properly cleaned before guests arrive. Repairs are it done to achieve the minimum of safety standards. I'd like to have a refund or at the least some admission of failure and intention to improve.

We got 2 room. The beds were clean and comfortable. Both rooms had serious issues. One room had actively leaking plumbing carpet wet. There were obvious painted over water leak marks 2nd floor carpets were worn out. No security lock on exterior entrance doors.1st flood looked great it has been fully redone. You could tell it is a 50 yr (or more )old hotel.

It's a bed and place to sleep. That's about it. Had 2 rooms. One was actually ok. The other had no shower curtain, towels piled up in a chair between beds, dust and drywall on everything. A/c was hit and miss at best all night.Restaurant, pool, hot tub, all closed. No breakfast. Definitely needs major upgrades

It's run down. But...it's not too bad. My room had the towel rack ripped off and zero repairs. The TP dispenser was hanging out of the wall. It looks like it WAS a nice place.....but it's not anymore. Hot tub doesn't work. They say they have a workout room. They don't. I stayed here because my company put us up in this hotel because of the parking. We drive semi's. But I would never stay here knowing what I know. I was in 3 diff rooms and every one had issues.

To start the rooms need much needed renovation, the facilities are not open and I needed to buy a microwave to heat up my food in my room. The website did not mention anything about having facilities closed down and the pictures on there website are not accurate. I have been to other Ramada hotels and this is one of the bad ones. If I knew of the situation here I would not have booked.

Day 1, woke up tried to make coffee, its broken. Tried to go get coffee by front desk and I was locked in my room. Had to call the front desk with my cell cause there was no phone in the room. Took them a bit to get the door unstuck. Had to change the sheets on one of the beds myself. Staff is helpful and friendly. Pool is warm and seems to be clean. There is no fitness center. The correctional facility is visible from the hotel.coffee is not good.I was not impressed. This place needs some serious updates, the beds are not comfy

Stayed here 1 other time, 3 or 4yrs ago and had nothing but good things to say so booked it this year when I was in town. Got a bad feeling as soon as I pulled in the parking lot. Multiple cars that obviously hadn't moved for some time, flat tires or on blocks. Trash all over the parking lot, grounds in horrible condition. Went into lobby and the smell was overwhelming, not in a good way. It did have a nice restaurant/bar inside which was one reason I liked it but that was closed. Overturned tables and chairs in the area where the restaurant was. Very dark and dingy looking, mostly from the lighting in the lobby. There was a fella walking 2 dogs outside and then inside with no leashes. Just to much to handle. Front desk gal was as you would expect at a place like this, had to argue like hell and then call Wyndom to cancel reservation and not get charged. Wyndom requested pictures to prove my claims, as soon as they saw them they promptly canceled my reservation without fees and gave me a discount at the Super 8.

We were supposed to stay at the outdoor hotel there and when we got there, the neighbor girl was looking in our windows at us, and there were 2 moths in the hotel. When we opened the curtain there were 15-20 moths all in there just chilling and some of them flew out when we opened it. They gave us a new room inside this time, and it was better. until later to find in the corner of the room was a soggy old roll of toilet paper, like how do you manage to miss that while cleaning. And they have beg bugs. YUCK! Worst Stay Ever
