My F150 ruptured a brake line and we were stuck. Nick's fit me in and jumped right on it and got my family home. Outstanding service, great family business. Highly, Highly recommend!!!

Everyone over at Nick's Auto is great. They answer the phone, or get back to me right away. Their communication is very strong and on point. I have a 1993 f350, no one in town will even look at it due to its age. Nick took it right in, fixed it right up, and for a reasonable price. I'm very impressed with this shop, I will continue using them for years to come. I highly recommend them. Thank you Nick's

Our wheel bearing blew out during a road trip pulling a trailer and Nick squeezed us in the same day! They were booked out more than a month and prioritized our service helping to save our trip! Put my tacoma up on a lift and told me they couldn't find anything wrong, but the next mechanic I took my truck to in Craig found that it needed lower control arms replaced as well as a laundry list of other repairs needed. Unfortunately it was a waste of time and money taking my truck to Nick's auto.

Wow. Old school with all the best that goes with it. Patient, knowledgeable, talented and professional all wrapped into one. Service above self, is rare in todays world. I walked in, and was treated like family at Christmas time. 1955 Dodge Power Wagon...Nick took it on...rebuilding a carb with more parts than a scrabble game board. He fit me into a packed schedule. Well done Sir! I am truly grateful....and amazed. A++.

Nick is a very honest, hard working, upfront mechanic. He was very communicative and despaorent when it came to what he was working on. 4/5 only because my truck was not fixed all the way and needed a second opinion due to it being injection pump and injector related. However, I would go back and have him as my regular mechanic if I still lived in steamboat.

Driving into Steamboat Springs, visiting from Ridgecrest, CA, in August of 2022, my Check Engine light came on. Another repair shop said that they couldn't look at it until the middle of September, so I checked with Nick's Automotive Repair. Shawna said they would take a look. Nick immediately diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and installed it within two days. I was very impressed with their service. I had a great experience with Nick's Automotive. I received a prompt summary and estimate for repairs to my vehicle. The shop was great about communicating regularly. The work was performed quickly and professionally. The final bill was almost exactly what was estimated. I felt like I received prompt, quality, and trustworthy service. Thanks again Nick!

These people are very nice, however, I came in with one problem and left with a bunch of others. They unplugged my power steering power when bypassing fuses and then couldn t fix it. I ended up having over a thousand dollars of repair from another mechanic to get my power steering back working.

We were in from out of town and called into Nicks on short notice to get an oil change and have an issue diagnosed. They got us in promptly and even stayed after closing time to fix our issue. The shop was very organized and everyone we encountered was very professional! Nick even went out of his way to fix an issue he spotted during our initial repair as a courtesy. If we lived in the area we would return without a doubt any time we needed repairs. Will recommend over and over!

Nick fixed my warped brake discs with no notice at all when he was on his way out to go camping and fishing to make sure I could get home safely. They were so kind, so professional, and so reasonably priced. I'm tempted to drive the six hours round trip to Nick's to have him be my go-to guy, he's that good. His staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating to make sure we could get around town while my car was being worked on. This is the kind of small town service that I wish, so badly, were more common. Thank you for everything!

A couple of weeks ago my Subaru had to be towed. It was a Saturday and I worried no one would be open. Nicks was open and they worked me right in. Diagnosed quickly and a new starter was installed. I was back on the road in about an hour.You won t meet any nicer people. Their whole crew was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, professional and helpful.

My check engine light went on a day before an 1100 mile drive home with wife and 2 young kids. I was impressed with these reviews and called. The reception I received was just what I expected. Nick told me to come right over and he would make the scan for me. I got there, they dropped what they were doing and scanned my truck right away.They could have easily told me that it was the fetzer valve , charged me a couple hundred bucks and I would have paid. Instead they told me that it was just an emissions alert due to altitude and needed no work. If you want to support an honest and ethical business, you must call Nicks garage!!!

My husband and I were looking to buy a car, and we chose to have Nick do an inspection on it for us. He was very kind and helpful as he even allowed us to walk around the car with him and showed us some potential problems with the car. He gave us his honest opinion about the car and he was right! I will definitely be using his shop again if I am ever in the area. His wife is also very hospitable as she offered us refreshments and answered any questions we had. Very nice mechanic shop!

Great mechanics and customer service! I had noticed a noise from my wheel bearing and took it here to get it fixed. They were super quick with the repair and called to give me updates throughout the repair process. Shawna was super lovely to chat with and even grabbed a mechanic when I had a question she didn't know the answer to. Hello, This is Don from Buffalo, NY and I was on an Elk Hunting trip out in Craig, Colorado when an emergency occurred back at home (1800 miles away) and I needed to get home immediately. However, my 7.3 diesel blew a water pump bearing. I had tried 4 or 5 other garages and they would not be able to get me in for three or four weeks. Mark, the tow truck driver recommended Nick's Automotive Repair. Nick and his son squeezed me in immediately and had it fixed within hours. They did a wonderful job! The garage was extremely neat, clean and organized. I would recommend Nick's Automotive Repair to anyone.

My husband and I are beyond impressed with and thankful for Nick and his family. We re from out of town. Our car broke down in the middle of nowhere while I was driving it and at almost that same moment, my husband was in a mountain bike accident that sent him to the ER, all while I was 23 weeks pregnant. After having the car towed to Nick s, his wife drove me in their personal vehicle to the ER and gave me her cell number so I could get in touch with her if I needed anything. Nick looked at our car as soon as he could and a few days later told us it was beyond repair. Since we live 3 hours away and obviously couldn t do anything with the car, Nick offered to sell it for us and send us the proceeds. We never paid them a dime, but Nick and his wife and son were incredibly gracious, charitable, and honest, making a very stressful situation much more manageable. After this, I would happily recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you, Nick and family!

My front Axel was dripping/leaking and I had no idea for how long. As soon as I noticed the drips I called to have it looked at so I didn t do further damage. Nick and his family told me to bring my car in as soon as I could. I dropped my car off around 11 and they told me everything that was wrong with it. They asked if it was okay if they got the car back to me the following day due to how big of a job it was. I said of course, however at 5 I received a call saying that Nick and his son double teamed my car and it was all ready to go. I can t thank this family enough for how amazing of a job they did with my vehicle. Best automotive services in town by far. Will not be going anywhere else in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

For the past 20 years my family and I have vacationed to Steamboat. Each time before we leave, we get our truck serviced for the long trek back to California. It is a relief to have a shop that we can rely upon. Once you find an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, you stick with them. We found that at Nick's Automotive Repair. I refuse to go anywhere else. We dropped the truck off before we hit the slopes and were greeted with a friendly phone call from Nick that our truck was done. Nick went above and beyond, not only completing our maintenance early, but he made sure everything was tip top for our travels. Thank you Nick!

On road trip to the Flat Tops Wilderness Area and vehicle broke down due to owner (me) missing the service interval on electrical componets. Got towed to Steamboat Springs and was told by first shop they were to busy to look at it for a week! Luckily, we had the tow driver take vehicle to Nick's Auromotive. They were friendly and were able to check vehicle out the next morning ( we got there after closing time). They even helped us get to a local hotel since we had no other transportation. The staff were super friendly, professional , diagnosed the problem quickly and had us on the road by about noon the next day. The best emergency mechanic service experience I have had in 40 plus years.

Definitely deserves 5 stars! My brakes were so bad and Nick was able to fit us in and fix it! He and his wife are amazing people and treat their customers with kindness and respect. Definitely send your business his way if you need repair on your vehicle.

Nick's Automotive Repair is one of the best repair shops I have dealt with. Nick is honest, realistic with his appointment schedule, able to work on any vehicle and very reasonable with his billing. His shop is clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Very fortunate that Nick could help me out. I. Called with short notice to get my brakes fixed and they fit me in to their busy schedule. Set me up with new breaks and got me back on the road the same day. I will definitely be coming back to Nicks in the future for any truck needs. Thanks!

We were passing through and had an issue with our truck. They were too busy that day to get us in but Nick took the time to talk through the issue and help us diagnose it to the extent that we were comfortable continuing on. We were very appreciative of his knowledge and willingness to help even though we weren t a paying customer. Nice job folks!

We drove in from Denver for a girls weekend and realized the breaks on the car were not functioning properly. Called Nick at 8 am on a Saturday and he replaced the rotors and got us into a safe vehicle by noon. Excellent customer service!! Would recommend this business. 5 stars!!

I am not one to normally leave reviews, but after my experience with Nick and this autoshop I feel obligated. I cannot speak highly enough on how fast and understandable they were to my situation and getting me back on the road quickly. If they can do something to help, I assure you they will. Although, I may have got lucky with how quickly they got to me, but I think it was more of them wanting to help me and I cannot state my appreciation enough.
