Terrible experience. We usually rent from Incline, and now we know why. From the beginning to returning our gear 3 days early, they were a disorganized mess. The guys are the shop were rude. They talked down to my son when he tried to exchange his boots that were causing pain. They demanded that I fill out the paperwork and pay again when we finally convinced them he needed different boots. There are about 5 more experiences I could recount, the shop is simply not worth my time. Do yourself a favor and support Incline instead.

The guys here went above and beyond.They took the time to select the correct equipment for my current skiing ability. The skis were in great condition and nicely tuned especially for end of the season standard skis.

Rented my gear with Four Mountain this year and was very pleased. For some reason I convinced myself to rent a snow board, despite not having been on one in 20 years. Staff quizzed me to make sure I had the proper configuration prior to letting me go.A trip down the mountain and I was back at the shop to change out my board for a pair of skis, which I used the rest of the day. The following day I was back at the shop again for a bigger pair of boots. Every time I visited I was greeted quickly and my needs were met. Returns at the end of my trip were equally painless.I would definitely rent my gear from Four Mountain next trip.

Absolutely my best experience renting a bike. Bike was new & staff was excellent. The manager took time several times to suggest trails, explain them, point me to them etc. Made my trip!

Even though I rented my equipment a week before, when I arrived they didn't have my size of boots, I tried in two different stores and even so I had to ski with extremely wide boots on my feet. I was extremely dissatisfied, since for skiing it is essential to have well-fitted boots on your feet for good performance.

Big THANK YOU to Manager Tae, Jamison, Alex, Trey, Luis, and Shay for helping me out with my first time snowboard rental and visit to Snowmass! They were all extremely helpful and hospitable in helping me get set up. Highly recommend them and they all deserve pay raises, hopefully soon!

Great service after the sale. After a couple days on the slopes, my daughter finally let us know her boots were causing her a lot of discomfort and pretty much killing any enjoyment on the slopes. Thirty seconds after I walked back in the door at Four Mountains, a knowledgeable fitter was working with her. Their rental stock couldn't address her particular issue, so he pulled a new set of boots off the shelf that fixed it, ripped the tag off, and sent us on our way.

I bought a pair of Five Ten mountain bike shoes at this store and it was a big mistake. I tried on a pair that I liked but they were just a little too small, so the sales person found a pair in the same shoe stack that was one size bigger. When she handed me the larger size I assumed they were the same type of shoe given they were in the same location, exact same box, and the sales person said here's the shoe in a size larger. I bought the pair of shoes, took them home and realized they were not the same shoe as these had clip pedal adapters and were not free style which was the type of shoe I was looking at and tried on in the store. The shoes were on sale so I was saddened to look at the receipt and see no returns on sale items. I thought since the sales person gave me the wrong type of shoe at least maybe I can get an exchange or credit. I took the shoes back to the store (unused and with tags still attached) and they would not let me exchange or get a credit. They said their policy on returns had changed due to Covid. I think they are using COVID as an excuse to ignore customer satisfaction. I mean they were not used and couldn't they just set them in the back inventory and let it quarantine for 10 days before restocking? Yes they could've and it would've been so easy. And how does this pair which I never tried on become a risk for spreading COVID more so then the too small shoe pair I tried on in the store? If they would've given me a credit then most likely they could've upsold me on so many things that I'm looking to buy, but instead they get a disappointed customer and a bad review. I feel they are making a bad example of buying local as they show no flexibility and no "towny" atmosphere. They complain about internet sales taking their business but then they are much more strict on return policies than an internet business that it hundreds of miles away. Poor example of a local valley business and I plan to not have my family buy from them again.

I think I was the first mtb booking of the 2021 season, Ricky, Russell and the team were brilliant and very helpful. BOOK ONLINE to avoid disappointment!If you're doing the south and north rim trails, do 7 stars trail instead of finishing north rim...it's fantastic and brings you out at the rec center where you can hop on the bus back to the mall. Have a great summer!

We paid for demo ski & snowboard equipment but received run-of-the-mill, beat up, rental gear at full demo prices. Don t rent from here. There are several other rentals in Snowmass village that rent newer / better equipment for less money.

Four mountain has everything for keeping warm and up to date, check out the newest styles, or hit thier rental shops for gear and advice. These shops have trained people who already love to ski, step inside to get your gear on.

Do yourself a favor and rent next door. Next door is a mamma poppa shop that has rentals for half the price and quality is twice as good. Also, DO NOT buy your lift tickets here, while it is convenience, no one knows that they are doing. I was charged $264 that they were unable to explain. This was refunded back but not before the charge was stuck in processing preventing me from being able to use my card anywhere else. THEN they end up issuing me the wrong ski lift card for my girlfriend (a de-activated one) causing us to have more issues at the ski lift. 2 hours later, we finally got to ski. Lesson learned.

Kyle and his shop crew provided an exceptional weekend of sick downhill biking for a large bachelor party crew. Not a single hitch outfitting us with perfectly tuned bikes and beaucoup safety gear. Highly recommend this shop. Kyle and his crew rock! - Sebastian in Durango, Colorado

I took my coworker mountain biking for the first time. They had Giant Anthem X which were great bikes just to have fun on the trail. Service was great and knowledgeable about the trails to take.

Quick and easy to get in and out. Just make sure your order is done before hand and you can get the family in and out in a couple of minutes.

4 Mountain Sports will tune and wax your board/skis and have them delivered to another mountain so you don't have to carry them the next morning.

Been coming here for a long time, but recently very poor service with bad attitude at the mall bike store in Snowmass. Maybe the end of season blues, but no excuse. Go elsewhere.
