Poor, unprofessional service. Took my brand-new car in for an estimate. Told he needed 6 weeks to schedule repairs - he d contact me when ready. Contacted him 7 weeks later and was told he d taken a bunch of other new jobs. Told me he d check his schedule and get back to me. Crickets. Changed the insurance assignment to another shop. Wasted two months - not cool.

Friendly and easy to work with! I didn t get auto body repair done here, but stopped by for another need and they were the only shop in town willing to help. Highly recommend.

Called to have my car looked at for fender bender front end damage 5/3/23, Mitch asked me to email the insurance estimate, and bring the car in to evaluate in-person, which I did the next morning. Mitch looked it over and, not surprisingly, had some issues to go over with the insurance adjuster. Fine, of course. But since that day he has come up with every excuse to get me off the phone when I call and has not returned a call once. It has been almost 3 weeks as of the time of this writing. The last time I called, he told me that he had to call me back because he was "in the middle of doing payroll"...then didn't. Completely unacceptable. That's a good illustration of the customer service of this shop, in my experience, right there. Very disappointing, especially because this business was recommended from another local small business, with whom I will be sharing my experience. I understand this place has been around since the 1970s, they must really be doing quality work if they're able to survive with this level of customer service.

They seem nice but don't answer their phone and I've spend 4-5 days trying to get an answer from them as to when they can start working on my car and my Geico estimate and they seem to just drop the ball every time.Part of it is maybe modernize the way you take inbound customers.It seems easier to just drive to the Toyota dealership in Denver.

2 months to get the car in, 42 days in the shop though we had all parts in, a through assessment wasn t done (I guess even though I brought in by the 1st week the accident occurred). Said would take 2 weeks at that mark I was about to pick up and nope something else then something else. $3800 over quoted amount, 31 business days they had it, 42hrs of work total, it was always something, and about 10 times when I was told he would call he simply wouldn t. If anything happens to car now I very much hesitate bringing it back. 42 days without a car borrowing and so much hassles and communication issues. To say this is just the world right now is not customer service. I knew the original owner of this establishment and im not happy with what occurred. He did try and make the final few days right with a rental car paid for and $100 for me having to come back after 2 things weren t done on my supposed final pick up. Guys I get no one wants to work or whatever all the short staff but it shouldn t occur like this. When my car is next in line and all parts are in my car should be worked on for the 42hrs till it s done - that would have gotten it done in the quoted 2 week time period. They didn t think at all how all this affected me. Honestly I was very uncomfortable sitting in the office the last day thinking God I hope nothing bad was done to my car cause I was very vocal about this whole thing and still am. Y all deserve to know. I really hope they turn things around. If I had to fully rent a car it would have cost me an additional $1900 to do so.

We got estimates to repair some front end damage to our Jeep from Silverthorne Auto Body ("SAB") and another local auto body shop here in Silverthorne. SAB's quote was significantly less and they said they could do it in a shorter amount of time. The other company said their quote could go up as much as $1,000 or more once they took off the front fender and they could not say if it would take 4 days or over a week!!! I am so happy to say that SAB did great quality work, stuck to their quote, and ran a couple of days over, but Mitch stayed in touch with me the entire time about the delay. I would highly, highly recommend SAB for any of your autobody repair needs in Summit County!!! Thanks SAB!!!!Service: Body & Trim

This team saved my bacon today! Called Mitch and explained my 4yr old used a rock on a loaner car to express her inner artist. Awesome staff and owner. I was in a tight spot in need of emergency repair with a short deadline to fix damage on a fire engine compartment door made of material no one else in Summit County would touch. Personally I didn't even think the door could be fixed at all but in less than 4 days they had us back up and running, looking and functioning great. I'll be a returning customer for sure.

They were extremely helpful. They gave me honest estimates and were willing to go above and beyond to make sure that my car could make it back to Denver safely, even when I let them know I wouldn't be getting the full repairs there and in the middle of the busy season. Mitch especially was great. I'd definitely recommend them.

They did great work here. My front end collision damage repair was near perfect. But working with them made it difficult. They won't be honest with you about how long it takes to do the work in person. They will lie to your face and then record my phone calls and blame you when they didn't deliver on their promises in person. I will stand by their work, just not their customer service.

Little weird with the small office and Covid times as I walked in and everyone just got quiet and put their masks on then just looked at me. Some basic business principals were lacking which left me hesitant, but when I received our Van back the welds were good as new and any little surrounding dents were pulled and painted. The quality is top notch and the paint match was like it never happened. I was extremely pleased with the work. :) I would recommend them again!Service: Welding

My friends and I were on a road trip and my car broke down on Labor Day but Derek came through and helped us out big time. He managed to get the part we needed even though the shop was closed and he had to complete another repair entirely to even make room to get mine done - again, on a holiday weekend! He managed to keep costs low as possible and had us back on the road the next morning.

The mechanic on duty- I think his name was Derek or something?- was really friendly and helpful. His wife, Jamie, was in the shop as well when I was there. Derek & Jamie both are very professional, knowledgeable, fair on prices and made me feel very comfortable in choosing SAB to get my vehicle fixed.Thank you! Keep up the great work!

RECOMMENDED! Got an accident in Frisco, since I didn't have fully coverage insurance, I had to purchase parts online and brought to body shop to save money. Silverthorne auto body shop is willing to accept OWN parts after I got refused by a highly rated body shop in Breckenridge. I brought in my car one day before the reservation day because parts came one day earlier and they replaced parts immediately. Thank the whole team for helping me save a lot of money, I really appreciate that.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. The owner and staff are completely incompetent. Don t believe the fake good reviews. Take your car elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

These guys were straight up with me right from the beginning. Took the time to go over different options and shared their expert opinions without pressing anything on me. They got it done timely and saved me some $$$ in the end. Car looks great and I would recommend to anybody looking for a reliable, quality shop in the Summit area.

Completely forgot about meGave me an estimate for my car for my insurance claim, said they re waiting on insurance, insurance was NEVER contacted and these people COMPLETELY forgot who I even was when I called to ask!!!!! Complete waste of my time...I drove all the way from Leadville cause these guys were apparently good. Do not recommend.

This place is the worst body shop ever i was a painter for 18 years and ive never scene work this bad runs in it chips in the back of the brand new hood just terrible work and The painter is color blind all they had to do was replace a fender and hood. Plenty of room to blend out the other fender and door and still couldn't get the color right. Scheduled me for the following Monday. Now they're telling me they won't touch it until the owner gets back from whatever he is doing. And now they saying they won't even get me a rental to fix their screw up. Now I don't even feel comfortable taking my car back to have them fix it. Now after talking to the owner he said he will not fix it and to get a lawyer so I'll be stopping Payment on the check I gave them today

I am extremely grateful to Silverthorne Auto Body for getting my car fixed! There were a few hiccups with getting it done in time for a roadtrip (out of their control) but they helped me out so much and I would highly recommend this shop.

Worst customer service from Kay at front desk every time I called to check up on my car. They had my car for several months and managed to leave my car unfinished when I received it. Parts fell off driving on the highway the very next day but didn't want to go through this experience again so ended up have someone else finish fixing it up. All in all worst/slowest experience wouldn't go here again or reccomend.

Went to get an estimate after hitting a deer... 'DUDE' in the shop office was so rude to me when I told him of my insurance carrier. I don't care if you don't like my insurance, but you could have been polite about it. Rude rude rude. Bad business!
