TL;DR: Drive 15 more miles to the next gas station unless you are truly in an emergency.Well, it turns out you don't need my review because the other 15 1-star reviews sum it up. I could tell you about us needing to breastfeed our baby, get gas, and swap vehicles, only to show up at a place with one working pump and the staff slinging expletives at me and my wife while she was trying to breastfeed. But that really is just piling on.Instead, we should ask ourselves what we can do to encourage the folks at Hilltop Service to be more like their neighbors at Lucy's Place with a solid 4+ rating. Perhaps the strain of owning a rural gas station on a heavily traveled route has finally gotten to them. Broken them down. Maybe they just need a few people to stop by, say hello, and declare that they have no need to use the restroom and, heck, even if they did they can use a different toilet elsewhere. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to stop at this exit with my family, tank full of gas, pull into Lucy's Place, take advantage of their great service, get a piece of the clearly famous pie, and walk my positive attitude over to the proprietors of Hilltop Service just to wish them a great day before I drive on.I say we all do this until we change hearts and minds and, eventually ...maybe... someday, this 2-star rating.

DO NOT STOP HERE FOR GAS! This lady servicing the counter is the rudest person I've ever met. I stopped in to buy snacks and get gas and she stood there with her arms crossed, scoffing at me the entire time. I made a purchase then went out to my car to get gas. She followed out after me and said "if you're not getting gas you need to leave." While I was preauthorizeing my card at the pump. She then went inside and shut the pump off. They then charged me anyway. Will be disputing the charges. Traveller's beware! They also tell Google they are closed, which they aren't, to avoid getting public reviews.

The sign in the door advertising "Restroom is for paying customers only!!!! DON'T EVEN ASK!' gives a pretty accurate impression of the kind of place this is. Fortunately for us, the clerk (older woman) was on the phone, so all we got was a sour look for walking in. It would have be no big deal to buy a bag of chips (that's always what I do in indie places) but I could well imagine her deciding that this wasn't sufficient. No rush on the restroom, so off we went. Hate to say it, but this is one small business that we could all stand to lose to a chain.

Cashier is friendly although he gets tires of reminding folks that the restroom is for paying customers only. If you need to use the restroom please just buy something. Go next door to eat. Also a lovely place with a restroom When I lived in California most places in LA would not even have a bathroom to use. In the shopping district you each have to pay a fee to use the bathroom. Please

The rudest lady I ve ever met! Do not stop. Witnessed her yelling at two boys before shouting at me in my car for watching. Will never spend my money here again.

Gas station attendent is outstandingly rude. Single gas pump is out of order. No public restroom.

Signs posted everywhere saying bathroom is only for paying customers. I walked in and looked toward the bathroom. The owner rudely and loudly said - bathroom is for paying customers only and there is a line. I told her I know. Not everyone buys something before they use the restroom. Due to her rudeness I will never go back.

We stopped to get gas and use the restroom. The lady shouted at me for not having seen the sign that said no public restroom, we decided to not get gas there either since she was so unnecessarily mean.

Terrible parking lot, and when it's snowing and you stop for 2 minutes they'll tell you to move even if there is no other parking

Rude staff (even if you use the port-a-potty in back). There are other places to buy gas and snacks. Why go here?
