God awful!!!!! Not only did not get what I reserved. I was given a fuel leaking truck that was empty and did not hold fuel I put in it. The next truck they gave me was left with trash and human feces in the truck. They did clean it but it smells of ammonia and I have a severe headache. Worst service and would not properly handle the situation that they caused. I am paying for a vehicle I did not reserve and now have a migraine for their lack of detail to making sure I received a working and already cleaned vehicle. I am afraid my belongings will smell.Awful awful awful.

The app that is required for pickup is complete dogwater. The links that navigate the app often time out or are broken. Had to give all my info top to bottom a total of 3 times for it to finally recognize my pickup. Arrived at 7:10 for a 7am pickup. Thanks to the trash app they peddle I didn t have keys until 7:45am. The U-Haul does not have cruise control which is awesome for an 800 mile journey. None of the U-Hauls at this location have cruise despite their official website citing the usefulness and safety of using cruise control. Go Penske, U-Haul are complete clowns.

We rented a truck and trailer from a location in Colorado Springs on a long distance one way out of Colorado. The trailer had a blow out about an hour after pick up, far enough outside of town to were none of the "free lance maintenance techs" wanted to replace the tire. This uhaul location was absolutely no help, but did let me know that they had a tire on the shelf for this trailer. They said something about once under contract they couldnt touch it. My disabled father was on the side of the road for 6 hours waiting from someone to show up. This is after I paid the extra $120 for insurance and coverage. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

The professionalism needs work at this location. I rented a trailer today. I backed my vehicle up to the trailer to make things simpler and quicker for all involved before going in. I was accosted by an older man, who must have thought I was typical Pueblo area scum and I was a trailer thief or something? He was curt and abrasive, and made the choice to talk down to me like as if I were a child. After trying to sooth his ego, we went inside and he doubled down with the attitude problem. I understand people have bad days, but you're supposed to rise above that and be professional. In the end, the first guy calmed down a bit and I think we were good at that point. However, later when returning the trailer, a different older man came out and took over unhooking me, because apparently the fact that I'm a Class A CDL holder and a law enforcement officer must mean I'm completely inept? He could have offered assistance to see if i needed any, but he pushed his way in. I understand they deal with educationally challenged folks daily, but proper approach is everything. Not all customers are incompetent. Don't come sideways at people just because you want to prove how much of a man you are. I know as people get older, and their relevence starts fading, some try really hard to establish their importance and dominance at all costs. Men who are controlled by their feelings, who are petty and confrontational have a tough time dealing with people in a customer service setting. These two gentlemen need some professionalism refresher training. Thankfully, a polite and professional woman named Nika decided to step in and finish our return transaction. I will come here again. Sadly the turn over is rather high. I can almost guarantee none of these people will be working here in a few months.

Stick with the location on 4030 Carruth Ct. This location I have found from experience to be the best in town, by far. The location at 1004 W. 4th St. avoid!! This is my advice from experience. Safe travels everyone.

I'm quite shocked to see the 2.8* average rating for this location. My experience here was 5* in every possible way. Both employees went above and beyond! As well as the area manager. To the point I was happy while waiting on the running lights output for the trailer was fixed on the truck itself. Stellar team, thanks again!

Been there twice this last week for moving my mom. Facility and trucks are pretty much spotless. Great customer service from rep George too. Didn t have a reservation the first time but he was very patient with me and helped me through it. A week later I come back to pick up a reserved truck and the guy is there at 6AM putting the work in cleaning trucks. Overall great experience.

I don't come from a history of great experiences with U-Haul but the staff at this location is especially friendly, patient, helpful, and understanding. I would single Jay out in particular as a person I'm particularly happy to have encountered, but everyone I interacted with today was great.I can't believe I'm saying this about a U-Haul location but... I'd come back.

I ordered a hitch at the U-Haul store on Carruth Ct. in Pueblo for my car August 2023. At the desk I said that I need a 2 receiver type hitch. I told the person at the desk that it was for a bike rack. She said, Okay and said nothing more. She scheduled me to have it installed August 29 when the hitch would arrive. I went in the day it was to be installed and pointedly asked (before installation of the hitch) the person at the desk if it was the 2 receiver hitch and he said, yeah, yeah . It was installed, but it was a 1 � receiver hitch! I was told by the installer after the fact, that 1 � receivers are the standard when installed on a car okay, I get that, but the person taking the order should have told me that when I ordered it and the person at the desk on the day of installation should have told me the same thing when I asked him if it was a 2 . I talked to the manager (Josh) the next day and explained the situation and only hoped to make him aware of the lack of knowledge and communication that I had with his staff. Josh assumed a defensive posture when I mentioned that I asked the person at the computer if it was a 2 receiver hitch. Josh said he was there at that time and said that I did not ask about the 2 hitch before it was installed when in fact, I was emphatic about asking if it was a 2 . Josh was basically calling me a liar! I had to buy an adapter for my hitch to fit the bike rack. I am frustrated that the people behind the counter didn t know their products and didn t communicate well that my only option was a 1 � hitch. The manager s defensive attitude when approached by a customer with a concern or complaint does not reflect good customer service. He never acknowledged my concern for the lack of correct information received regarding the hitch size, or the experience that I had at his store. I did not scream or yell and was very polite, but I came away thinking that I will never again set foot at the Pueblo U-Haul on Carruth Ct.

We had an amazing customer service agent on our latest rental. The young lady's name is Jay. She is amazing!! She went above and beyond the norm in every area of her job. She was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. She made sure we were very satisfied and that the equipment was hooked up properly and ready to tow. On return, she was there again. We got the same level of exceptional customer care!! The world could use a bunch more Jay's!!

The metal head straight out of the 80s, was too busy, and too experienced to explain how easy a wiring harness was to install on my vehicle. Constant flicking of his hair, far too busy to help me book a reservation, even for a box truck to haul, was told nothing open today as I had to follow him around, to even speak to him, and that a wiring harness was a very technical job and I wouldn t be able to rent a trailer without it. I m sorry he was too busy to actually help a customer, I know it was a Friday evening and the customer is of very little concern, at least at this Uhaul.I hope that this guy enjoyed his ability to blast death metal, constantly flick his hair and feel exceptionally important and skilled as an employee at uhaul in Pueblo. Online uhaul, does nothing to communicate with their franchises effectively.Surreal experience, other than Pueblo personified.

I took their u-box service. Initially I said I will need 3-4 boxes and was told to reserve 3 and they would give me 4 boxes if needed more than a month before my out of state move. It was very difficult to get ahold of them, I was never notified before moving date and no communication was made from their side. You know how hectic the move day can be, and the store made it worse when they told me they could give me 3 boxes only. The manager himself was there, I don t know who made him manager, he doesn t have any skill of communication. He told me I should be lucky that I m getting u-boxes and threatens to cancel my reservation. Please, if you are reading this post, do not do business with them.

So I had to rent a box truck then a pickup truck and then a trailer all within a week I had a fantastic tech named Jacob, on my last rental I.E. the trailer, when I rented and returned he helped me and his attitude was fantastic!!! (Some of his co-workers could learn a lot from him) when I returned the trailer he came out to help me before I had a chance to go inside, by the time I parked the trailer he was out there to unhook everything and made sure I didn't have to touch anything!!!! Amazing customer service from Jacob!!!! Very Very nice person!!!! Unfortunately though I can't say the same for this guy named David, I was in there four different times and his attitude was the same every time, terrible, no smile acting like your bothering him coming in the store. I don't understand, if you are always that unhappy maybe you should think about doing something else. That attitude isn't necessary........EVER!!!!

Storage clean and secure. Maintenance worker very friendly. However customer service by phone is nonexistent. Twice call 800 customer service and both times two hour hold before speaking to someone live. Then referred to website and no information there either. I am owed a refund and it shows in their system but customer service in person doesn t seem to know where the refund went.

The most unhelpful staff I have ever encountered at a rental establishment. To establish my identity, to acquire my rental, I was asked to provide my drivers license, another form of identification (a VA identification card is insufficient, although it is a VALID Department of the U.S government), and TWO ATERNATIVE CONTACTS. The staff (owner operators?) have no clue about customer service. If they have a way to screw with you...they will. U-Haul has lost a customer...I will use another company. I mean...the service is just that terrible.

Whenever I come in they are slow and only have one guy working the counter, pulling trucks around, and checking out. I spent 30 min one time trying to return boxes. Just go to Lowes, cheaper boxes and easier returns. On the upside the staff is usually friendly and helpful... Once they get to you.

The price on the internet was different than the list price. Josh, the manager, did a really great job of looking into things and made sure to do right by me. He even carried the hitch to my car. I didn't expect that he would be able to do as well as the price online, as it was clearly a glitch. Yet, he made sure I left happy.

Easy location. Nice workers. But general manager was not kind at all. Made me feel bad for even asking to use a coupon. Then made me feel stupid because he said the coupons are even legit even tho they're coming straight from the uhaul website. Then just ignored me and charged full price. Very poor customer service. Will probably pick a different uhaul location next time

Very poor costumer service.!!!!Had problem after problem with these people. It was just a over all really bad experience starting the moment I walked in the door..the employee's ( were outside blasting music) kept me waiting about 10 min in a completely empty office\lobby waiting for service.There company logo is to make moving easier... They did the complete opposite of this.I walked in one day and there was 3 other costumers waiting on U-Haul employees to come in from outside( who were once again, smoking cigarettes& blasting music) to get behind their desks and receive help. They gave all the unsatisfied costumers who had to wait that day discounts or deals of sum sort to try and compensate for there unprofessional behavior

Really disappointing customer service. Be warned- they will gloss over parts of the contract to try to get you with a "breach" fee. They also sent us off with a truck that did not have fully working tail lights. We could not see this ourselves because we were in the car when they did the check. When we called for a clarification about the contract, the woman was short and very unhelpful. Then she told us we could not talk to her manager nor were there any other employees at the location. She seemed eager to get us off the phone so she could close the store up as it was about fifteen minutes before their closing time.Really disappointed. I don't think this is indicative of U-Haul, rather it's just a great example of a very bad location and/or bad training.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul . I moved from Denver to Pueblo .I called them on 06/02/18 and let them know I was going to be a few mins. Late if it was okay to continue on my way. She stated that she called the manager Ronald on his cell in which he stated yes that is fine because we are super busy today it only takes 10 mins. and will not be leaving at 7pm . When I arrived it was exactly 7:08 PM. To my surprise it was already closed. So I talked to a worker and asked if I can speak with Ronald since we had already agreed on it being okay to be a few mins late . He wouldn't come out to speak with me and told his worker to tell me sorry there is nothing I can do come back tomorrow. Which I wasnt planning on staying here and still have to be back in Denver for work the next day. So we ended up staying at uhaul trying to figure out what to do at that point 2 other people showed up who already have had a unit here for 2 monthes and had a card to access their unit . But it didn't work. At that time Ronald was leaving for the day and had walked out the door we were all gathered at and I asked him why did u say it was okay to come down when u didn't want to help me . He said sorry nothing I can do. Then the 2 other people ask him if he can let them in so they can access their unit because their card wasnt working. Ronald then says " oh that hasn't worked in a year! Sorry nothing I can do." So we ended up having to go to walmart and purchase necessitys to stay the night since we were not planning on staying and had to get a hotel room after we got everything we needed and got a room it ended up costing an extra $347.86 that wasnt planned for just because Ronald couldn't take 10 mins. Of his time to help us get our unit . Iam very disappointed in uhaul for this very expensive Inconvenience we had to go thru. I did have a unit reserved there but since all this I have decided to store my stuff else where.

Guy with mustache extremely rude and ignorant. We had a family member pass away who had rented a storage trailer from a U-Haul down the road. We weren't able to obtain any of the paperwork that was received when the trailer was picked up. Long story short, after explaining our situation that the person who rented this no longer being with us lead to our ignorance of where to drop off the trailer; he proceeded to tell us about how "business' around here typically close at 5:00pm" (it was 4pm). Have some sympathy and drop the attitude.

So we had a truck reserved for today (4/22/18) at 1:15pm . Got there to pick up the truck and was told that there wasn't a pickup truck there for us. What happened was who ever had the pickup truck before us got an extension on the pickup truck. So then they offered us a box truck but would have to pay more for it. Well we couldn't use that one because we needed room for a car seat. So told them no we needed the other truck we reserved because it had room for the car seat. Then the lady says well it's not my fault that the people who have the pickup truck had a situation and you have a situation and can't use the box truck.. we told her excuse me we don't have a situation we have a child!! She actually called our daughter a situation! Idiot people what's the point of having a reservation if they can't keep it for you. This place is a joke. I wouldn't have even given them the 1 start but I just had to give a review.. never will go to this location again.. next time I'll read the reviews first! !

Extremely rude employees, inaccurate billing, reserved items not provided, and they misinformed me about available products in order to bill for additional mileage to a much farther location when product was available less then a mile from my move from and move to locations. I would highly suggest trying Penske, budget, or absolutely any other rental service. After dealing with moving your household, you dont need the added stress of dealing with a location like this and people who just plainly treat you like you are just a sale

We only got storage units here for the 24 hour access otherwise they are ridiculously expensive. That was back at the begining of march 2018 and to our disappointment the 24 hour access was not working at the time and we were told it was getting fixed so we kept the units anyway thinking it would be repaired in no time but its already june and we still dont have 24 hour access so getting units here has been a waste for us because the price and fees are not worth it. Also their customer service is terrible and the employee's are not even on the same page when it comes to their rules/ policies. Ex: the insurance $10 is required on little 10 foot trucks, pick up trucks and vans we were told on 2 different occasions and on 2 other occasions we were told it was optional and didn't have to get it. Another example is we rented one of the big trucks (picked it up and dropped it off at same location) and during that move we got 2 storage units at same location with the first 30 days free of charge then rented a smaller truck and went to get another unit but they said it was only free 30 days with the big truck so we got the big one instead and then they said we could not get another storage with the first 30 days free because that was only for 1 way rentals. We asked how is that when our other units were not with one way rentals, anyhow they need to really get on the same page with eachother. Oh ya they also tried to double charge us for a lock and the locks said sale 9.95 or 9.99 and we still got charged the full price of almost 19 dollars per lock!

This u haul does not have the storage uhaul promised me to be available.This manager does not note his extensions of uhaul contracts due to this renegotiation of the move contract. So when you call and no one at the store answers and you get to uhaul customer service they just threaten $20 per day fee each day until returned even though there is a snow storm and adverse weather conditions making it dangerous to tow trailer.

Worst customer service ive ever seen. Employees on break no one at register then an enployee came out of the bathroom after waiting 15 min. Other cutomers filling up lobby. Obviously need more staff or new staff. The women at desk checked out truck an had to go ckean it while leaving a line of customers. Didnt even say shell be right back didnt apologige for inconveniences. Poor service.
