I have worked with many auto repair shops and Swede's and Dave's is the most professional mechanic in town. The are honest and fair and do amazing work I have been going here for over 20 years and will continue to go to them for all my automotive needs.

I left southern Colorado immediately after high school in 1979. Moved back two months ago to be closer to family and the mountains. I needed to have some work done on my Jeep, so I quizzed several of my life long friends... they all said that Dave & Swede's was the best in Pueblo. I was not disappointed. Dave was courteous, patient, and thorough at explaining what needed to be done. The work they performed was completed beyond my expectation and in an extremely timely manner. I could not be happier. Thanks to all. You have a customer for life!

This is the best in Pueblo! Ladies you will be treated honestly & fairly. Will go back for future repairs. Both my mother and grandmother went to this shop for all their auto repairs.

I can t say enough about this shop they definitely go above and beyond it s affordable and fast service Dave and Joey are honest, trustworthy and efficient if you have minor or major repairs they ll get it done for you.

Well I was hoping it was going to be a great experience took our car in for a misfire Dave got that taken care of so we took the car back for an airbag suspension issue they put a new airbag but the next day airbag was down again I called Dave got it back in they fixed it we picked it up a couple days later same thing down again called him left a message have yet to hear from him and it's been almost a week and he forgot to call me multiple times throughout the repairs

Had a great experience. I took my vehice to a different shop and it came out worce then when I took it in. Swede and Dave had my vehicle repaired in one day. It runs great no issues and it was less expensive than the other shop. I am a older womenwho is on fix income they were fair and did what they said they would. They explained what was wrong and followed up with calls before they started the work. DO Not go to Firestone in Pueblo Colorado.

We have used Swede and Dave s for years for all our car repair needs. Today was fantastic though. I had issues with my AC which they couldn t duplicate last summer. It started having issues again today so I took it in immediately. No appointment. I pulled in and Dave looked at it then asked me to pull it into the garage. He made some changes and when he was done wouldn t take a penny because he said he wasn t sure if it is fixed for good. Honesty! These guys won t take advantage of you and will give you a good job at a fair price. Thanks guys.

Very honest and trustworthy shop! My car always runs top notch after I bring it in for work. Communication is great and I ve never felt like they were trying to get me to do a bunch of work that didn t need done. Highly recommend!

My husbands truck was sitting due to some extensive lower front end work. Swedes and Daves got it up and running for a very reasonable price. No gimmicks, no BS, just two experienced mechanics. I took my 1996 Chevrolet C1500 pickup in for a no-start problem. I would crank, and the engine wouldn't start. I also messed up the date of my appointment and showed up with my truck on the back of a tow truck a week early.Instead of telling me "hard luck, we're not storing your pickup for a week", they took my truck in and within 3 days (remember, I was a week early) they had my old pickup running like a top. Turns out, the problem was a fuel pump and a bad battery. They threw in an oil change essentially for free. They worked with me, as I had a $900 budget, and made sure to keep it under without problems. Please keep in mind that, for my truck, to replace the fuel pump, you have to either drop the fuel tank from underneath (an interesting challenge considering as how I had just put 17 gallons into it the day before the pump went out) or take off the 800 pound bed. Neither of those are a lot of fun for me, as I am on my own there.I am really grateful to Swede and Dave's. They worked hard for me, came in on budget, and their communication was excellent. This is now the 2nd time I've needed their services, and both times was fast, easy, and exceptionally competent.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Auto battery maintenance, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

If I could rate a zero,I would. I took my car to these guys a year ago for leaking power steering fluid. They told me it was rack and pinion,so they replaced it. My car was still leaking fluid afterwards so I took it back and they told me it was just residual. I took it back again a month later and they told me the same thing even after showing them a piece of cardboard I put under car to show leak. They basically told me I could look under the car myself if I didn't believe them. Why would my car still be leaking if they fixed the problem and residual should've been cleaned up right away? They refused to take care of leak,so a year later I took it back and sure enough they said it was my rack and pinion. So they could have fixed this right away under their labor warranty but instead got me back after the fact so I could pay for labor again! Then when I went to pick up car,his card machine wouldn't take three different cards of mine which all had plenty of funds on them and he told me it was my cards because it was a new card machine and he didn't know what to tell me. So,he wouldn't admit it was his machine and I had to go to ATM to get cash because apparently that is the only form of payment they can accept. I had to pay ATM fees which obviously it wasn't my card!I my opinion these guys are old school scammers!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Swede's & Dave's is full of dependable, kind, understanding folk who genuinely want to take care of their customers. Cheap in charge but priceless in work. I'm recommending everyone I know here.

I live in Omaha and have a 22 year old daughter that lives in Colorado. She had car issues and needed repairs. I went online and found this shop. Read great reviews. I called and spoke directly with Dave. I knew immediately I found an honest and reputable man. He took fantastic care of my daughter and the repairs were very reasonable. I recommend this shop without reservation.

One reason I'll never leave Pueblo. Best mechanic ever is Dave. Been going to Swede's and Dave's for over 20 years. Honest, trustworthy, and the nicest people you'll ever want to deal with.

Use to have great service took my truck had a warranty he said he would call and give them diagnostics he called, but refused to answer basic diagnostics questions so he was rude saying he didn t want to deal with it come get your truck, so I had to have yet another tow and he was very rude to the driver threw our truck keys at him!! Well we have went to him, my mom, my dad, my sister I won t send another soul there real upsetting

We've been going to these guys for years. Always found them honest and fair Reasonable prices, pretty good turn around They are popular so sometimes it delays your service. But always good repairs.

Horrible horrible horrible!!!! A company that has been around TOO long. My car broke down July 3rd, I took it in on the 5th. The guy who answers the phones, Randy kept telling me the mechanic Dave was on vacation.... FOR THE WHOLE MONTH?? so, no other mechanics there?! One man business really?! I was told by Randy that originally my car would be worked on when he returned the 30th so around the 31st my car would be fixed. I couldn't chaulk up another tow so I bit the bullet. I called the Friday before the 30th to verify that it would be fixed soon so Randy tells me I'm looking at ANOTHER WEEK?! I was done at that point. I arranged to have the car towed out. Finally, Dave the mechanic gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me it will be fixed by Wednesday so I literally had to be on the cusp of towing it out for them to take me serious. I have since moved to a DIFFERENT city with my broke down car in Pueblo. When I expressed my frustration with Randy, to Dave, it came with a bullsh!t excuse. Instead of understanding my frustration for being in a different city with no car and immobility for a month, you'd think a sensible business man would just apologize for the long delay. Instead it was something along the lines of... "I'm sorry but I told you I came back on the 30th". That's swell BUT once you return it shouldn't take another 5 to 7 days. This company is slipping. There are way better shops on this town and if I just followed my gut about this shady place, I wouldn't be here giving this poor review because I would have had my car by now. Now my biggest fear is this creeper Randy (yes, he's kinda creepy) is just casually going through the stuff in my car and that my car will break down again in 3 months. Always ask for a guarantee people because these Pueblo business are SHADY!!!

They're fast, honest, fairly priced, and they never try to push stuff on you or make you fix a bunch of unnecessary things. This is literally the only place I'll go & my family has been doing business with them for many years.

I am not blind to the fact that people steal. But if you leave your car here overnight. They will leave it outside next to the street. While my car was here. I had a go bag and boots stolen. The bag belonged to a fallen brother. I cannot get that back. I understand this. But this company has no cameras on premisis. They cannot prove they didnt steal it. At the very least they are acomplist to the theft for being irresponsible and not putting the vehicle inside the shop.
