A total waste of 1500 bucks. I should have known better when his price was 700 less than anyone else. Rebuilt transmission lasted for the ride back home and that was it. Started whining and smoking and spilling fluid everywhere and stopped engaging. When I told him about it, he said and I quote "It's not the transmission." Apparently, he thinks people are retarded.Service: Transmission

4 other shops in the area, refused to do the work I was asking, stating it would be better to pull the drivetrain and replace the transmission for 4000$+, Jim only asked 1400. He does the frustrating and hard work to save you money. To the previous review, the yard has a 9 foot tall chain link fence with barbwire and flood lights. Try reviewing the Police if you feel betrayed. Think before slamming an honest business man for stuff you left in your car stolen by thieves. Crime is everywhere, and the city doesn't have the means to protect the "valuables" you forgot in your car.

I have brought my 1995 Bronco to Jim at Jess's many times for speedometer, transmission, and transfer case problems. Jim and Julian seem to be very knowledgable and professional. The shop is extremely busy which means sometimes the work takes awhile, however, a shop that has been in business for years and is extremely busy is a good sign. They must be doing something right. Extremely satisfied with the quality of work. Very thorough. I hope I do not have anymore problems with my truck but if i do i know Jess's will treat me right.

I had a transmission cooler line break while driving through Denver. I drove all the way back to Pueblo not knowing my clutch plates were burning up. Needless to say I needed a rebuild of my 4L60E transmission in my 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I took it to Jim at Jess' Transmission. He is the most knowledgeable transmission repairman in Pueblo! Jim and the young man he has working for him completely rebuilt my transmission and now my Tahoe drives like it is brand new again! If you want your transmission done correctly, look no further. Very disappointed. Items in my car was stolen and they did not care or apologize. They didn't keep the car someplace safe or locked. I asked if they could check the engine codes since it pulled up 4 transmission codes. But they did not. Very unprofessional and not worth the money.

Jim has done a lot of work for me on my81 Chevy and has made me very happy I keep bringing it back when ever I have a problem and he takes care of it. Great work and good people and prices Thanks for all Jim!!!

I took my 2004 Ford Explorer to them and I thought for sure I would need a transmission repair, turns out I needed a tuneup instead...Julian and Jim where very professional and kind to me in this stressful situation and I am glad I took it to them! Honest shop! Thanks again

I have always had good work done here. Multiple cars over the years. He tells it to you straight and backs up his work. He's not cheap but he is worth it.

Wow! Xoxo my truck got a new transmission from here over the holidays.. Thanksgiving lol they got it done fast and efficient my truck runs like a dream now!! And comes with a warranty!!
