Finding a good mechanic is hard these days, finding good customer service is even more difficult. When you can find both in one location it's one less stress in your life.Before moving to Pueblo we had the same mechanic for almost a decade, he was amazing, became family. He treated out family with all the respect in the world and would stop anything to assist.When we came to Pueblo the search for a new shop was on. We tried several different ones and each one had it's own nightmare. Going down the list we finally made it to Gerard and Chris and here we are 2 years later still with them.As a business owner who relies on their trucks, trailers, and equipment, and when gone not to take advantage of family, there is no one else we would trust then Gerard, Chris and the team.I have found myself in binds several times where I needed trucks back on the road and they have worked hard, overtime, coming in when closed to keep us going. I have even personally called Chris on a Sunday from the top of a mountain with a broken down truck and they did everything to assist.Gerard's Automotive Group is the top notch shop in Colorado and probably west of the Mississippi.I can't thank the team there enough for the past 2 years and I look forward to many more years of knowing our fleet is taken care of!

I am new to town and needed a mechanic. Gerardes Automotive Group is one of the best auto shops I have ever been to. Gerard is extremely knowledgeable and more importantly honest and helpful. This shop has done oil changes, fixed a window that would no longer roll up, replaced a fuel pump, replaced a turbo, and rebuilt an engine for me. There has not been an issue with any of my vehicles that they haven t been able to fix. The shop does not cut corners and their work is unparalleled. I am grateful that I found this shop and highly recommend them.

This will always be the place I call to get work done! Called around since the person I hired to detail my car canceled 30min before. I'm impatient lol. Gerards got me scheduled the very next morning. Also gave me a cheaper price to replace my windshield so of course I had them do that for me as well. The work was quick and well done! Great customer service as well! Friendly and relatable. They will be the shop I recommend when asked for one

We lost all anti-freeze from my friend vehicle when we got to Dr office in Pueblo, Colorado. We were traveling from Raton, NM. We look for a towing and we found A to Z Towing Llc., and he took us and recommended Gerard s Automotive. We were luckily to find this place. The owner was great and friendly he said that the radiator was broken. He told us that we will be on the road by 5 pm that people out town was he priority. I cannot say enough nice things about the place and workers. They were fast friendly, thorough, professional, and reasonable. I will highly recommend them to friends and family. It was our lucky day! Thank you very much again!

We met Gerard about a year and a half ago he saved us more then once we have a 2004 Tahoe with a lot miles she got tried so we had Gerard put in a new engine and transmission got her back she's runs like a brand new car.his crew has a lot of integrity he sent pictures of the whole process I recommend his service to any one. saved us a lot of money thank you Gerard and your crew

Gerard s5 stars are not enough for Gerard s Automotive repair. I am a single older women traveling on New Years Eve. I made a complete blunder and put ethanol in my diesel engine. Desperate to find someone to help me. I was told by several auto repair places that I would have to stay in Pueblo for two days until after the new years. Gerard went above and beyond. He sent his technicians home to enjoy the holiday while he stayed late on New Year s Eve to help me. He completely drained my fuel and replaced the fuel filter. I am so grateful for his kindness, integrity, and professionalism. Words cannot express my sincere gratitude. I highly recommend Gerard s automotive. One of a kind.

Not only did Gerard take my call on a Sunday when I was broke down, he got me in first thing Monday morning and had me back up and running by the afternoon. Amazing staff and great service. These people told us we needed a new transmission. Would cost 4 _ 5 thousand dollars. Took my car to a transmission shop in pueblo west,they had it fixed in an hour and a half for under 100 dollars. And were told we didn't need a new transmission at all. These people had my car for 3 days. My car now runs perfectly. I Do Not recommend this place or would I ever bring my car here again.look them up on BBB. Do not trust these people !

Called in on a Sunday. Business owner solid dude. Told him my wife's car wouldn't start and she needed it fixed as soon as possible. Dropped it off Sunday afternoon he told me it would be fixed the next day and it was. I don't want to knock all mechanics but rarely do I find them trustworthy. Soon as I shook this gentleman's hand I knew he ran a shop with integrity. Thought he was a Marine like myself. I encourage all vets to take cars here. I will be telling all my family to take their cars to him and will definitely have his shop do all the work on my vehicles.Service: Electrical repair

I give this place a 100+ rating !!!! We were just passing by Pueblo and unfortunately our truck gave up on us. But thankful that we were so close to their shop. Any other shop would of given up on us mainly on a weekend. They did their best with finding the part we needed had it shipped to them on the same day. These guys really went above and beyond with getting us back in the road. I d definitely come to them again if it weren t that we re 13+ hours away. They re definitely the best and can t thank them enough

We lost all power to our vehicle returning from a trip. Not having much hope of finding a shop open on a sunday, we luckily found this place. The owner is a Saint of a man who readily agreed to come in to help get us going. I cannot say enough nice things about the experience. Fast, friendly, thorough, professional, and reasonable. I'd highly recommend them to friends and family. We would have been in so much trouble without this wonderful place

Coming to Gerards was more than a great reliable auto shop. They actually helped me out to my conveniece and did everything in their power to get me going as soon as possible. My radiator was cracked and dented, leaking everything from where it was cracked. My tensioner belt ripped off completely due to the tensioner itself jamming into place and not spinning. After my radiator was fixed, the fluid started coming out of the hoses which they later told me about but said not to worry we are here to help you, gave me a great price and got to work on it right away. Now I am up and running and glad to be able to be a customer to Gerards Auto Shop. They fixed all my leaks. My truck kept stalling. Nobody could figure it out. Gerard kept it and drove it. It finally stalled. He decided it must be control module. He couldn't find a proper replacement that didn't cost a fortune. He took a different one and installed it and rigged it up. It is starting and running much better. Hasn't stalled since. His prices are reasonable. And he had us drive it for a few days before paying. He took it as a challenge and apparently won. Gerard and his team are the best in town. Went to work on my jeep for its service visit and they nailed it. Jeep is running great and you can tell they have a passion for what they do. Thanks for all the help guys. I ll be bringing all my vehicles (motorcycle included) here from now on. 10/10. Professional, timely, detailed, and trustworthy.

I googled an auto repair shop near me and chose Gerards based on previous reviews. WOW, I can't say enough good things about this shop! Gerard and his mechanics are very knowledgeable, professional, transparent and accommodating! The shop was very clean and organized! Gerard went above and beyond by offering me a ride back to my hotel and keeping me in the loop regarding the repairs. I highly recommend this shop and will refer my family and friends in the local area to Gerards!!! I had my Saturn towed to Gerard's Automotive due to a broken down engine. Gerard was able to find a newer engine at a reasonable price to replace, as well as tuning it up for better performance and longevity on the road. My car now drives so much better than the last engine did! I'm very happy I can trust them to take care of my car and I respect Gerard for his honesty. I don't know a whole lot about cars, but I'm so relieved to have it taken care of at a place that is not shady, dishonest, or a rip off. Gerard is none of those, and I recommend them for engine repair. Thank you!

I highly recommend Gerard's automotive! I was roasting in my husband jeep because the a/c wasn't working as I hauled around 4 wild children. I called and immediately Gerard himself assured me that he could help with getting it fixed today without an appointment. The waiting area was air conditioned, clean, and inviting as we waited. He had a TV that had Disney for the kids which was worth 5 stars alone. The customer service and actual service was more than I could have asked for. Thank you again for keeping us cool this summer! I ve been taken advantage of many times by car shops so I was a little hesitant going to have my car looked at so I had my fianc� go with me who knows a lot about cars but lives in a different town and doesn t have the time or tools to do the work himself. Gerard really went above and beyond even showing my fianc� the parts that needed to be replaced and worked to get the best price. They were very welcoming and easy to talk to which was a plus.

My air conditioning went out in my car so my friend recommended Gerards. They checked it out to make sure it didn't need to be charged before replacing it. Found out it was shot. Gerards set me up with an appointment had my car repaired the same day. My ac works great they are knowledgeable, clean, friendly and reasonable. First off they have the best hours and are open Sundays, lucky for us. We broke down south of Pueblo and after getting in touch with Gerard he said he could take us and expedite our service as we were traveling. He even had a guy he trusts for towing. After he made the necessary repairs we headed back to North Dakota without a problem. He's very professional, the whole shop is extremely friendly, and they do good work. I highly recommend this place for ANY mechanical needs. Took my car in because it was smoking worse than a train and Gerard and his team was able to find the problem, fix it, and send me back with my car in even better shape than before!! Gerard provided amazing and super fast service for me when my vehicle broke down while traveling through Pueblo. We were worried that my vehicle broke down on a Sunday afternoon, but they got it in and were able to get us back on the road in under 24 hours, and that was mainly due to no parts shops being open to replace my broken alternator. My parents were in Pueblo from Trinidad when their car almost broke down. They were afraid they were going to be stranded. Gerard went to the hotel where they were staying and drove the car to his shop for them. He had it fixed by 4 PM that same day and gave them a very affordable price! Gerard's is the best auto shop I have ever used! My car went completely dead and I was just passing through Pueblo on Saturday night July 2nd, the holiday weekend. I started calling auto repair places at 8 am Sunday and no answer except Firestone who told me to get towed to Colorado Springs where there might be more services. I called Gerard's and he said he was closed for the holiday and was going boating with his family later that day. I explained that I was stranded and he said let me call you back which he did about 5 minutes later. He had called a tow truck that was also closed but the owner came anyway because Gerard asked him too. Gerard worked on my car for several hours and repaired it completely and I was back on the road. Men like Gerard are becoming more and more scarce and I was lucky our paths crossed. He's one of the good guys, a true American. Gerard s Auto was fantastic in helping me when my transmission line broke on I-25 in a snow storm and on a SUNDAY!. They found a towing company that could take my truck camper to the KOA and were going to try and look at it there if I couldn't get the camper off. I was able to repair the line myself the next morning. They are just the best and Tom's Towing was also incredible. Dustin the driver even took me back and forth to town to get the required parts and fluid. I met some of the best and most caring people during this whole experience as well as everyone at the Pueblo KOA! They turned a horrible experience into something manageable.
