I have never been so happy to have my truck throw a code! Said No one!If my truck didn't act up, I would have never had the opportunity to meet the guys from High Country Diesel & Automotive.My wife called in the morning to see if High Country Diesel & Automotive could help. She explained that we are up visiting from Corpus Christi, TX and will be heading back Thursday. We needed an expert opinion to see if we could proceed safely and/or fix the problem.They were busy, booked up, (as a reputable shop should be) but they made time for us given the circumstances. Who does that anymore these days?High Country Diesel & Automotive took the time to diagnose and FIX my truck and get me back on the road with the confidence to travel the next 1200miles.Oh, but they DID EVEN BETTER than just fix my truck, they talked to us like we were family and advised us of the incoming storm. They even recommend we make adjustments to our travel plans considering there is a serious storm coming in. Who does this kind of business these days? We were so lucky to have come to this shop.Afterwards they hooked us up with a High Country Diesel sweatshirt. (Probably thought I was cold coming from Texas and felt bad for me)I recommend that you DO NOT go anywhere else but HIGH COUNTRY DIESLE & AUTOMOTIVES.To my military brothers and sisters, these guys are legit. Brought my 7.3 in for a steering issue. They were quick with plenty of communication. While it was there they found a few leaks but didn't try to scare me into spending a ton of money on unnecessary work. They replaced my oil cooler and steering box at a fair price. I won't hesitate to take it back as I'm VERY particular with who work on my vehicles. High Country was able to answer the 1,000 questions I had about upgrades and maintenance. They are one of the best diesel shops in Colorado, without question.

Alex and his team have taken care of our diesels, Ford and Dodge, since he opened. When we moved away we still drove 1-2 hours to use this shop. Always great communication, solid work and pricing is lower than you would think given the quality. The only complaint is we recently moved to the east coast and can't use them anymore! Bring your diesels here everyone for everything!

I have never had any of my vehicles worked on by someone not working for me. I am a retired technician and shop owner. My experience at High Country was excellent!! High Country did a fantastic job fixing our truck. We spent months in and out of a dealership with no resolution. Within just a few hours High Country had diagnosed what was wrong and it was fixed in 2 days! We couldn t be happier with the costumer service, communication and quality of work they did.

Alex and Kyle will thoroughly explain the challenges with your vehicle and allow you decide what to do. They offer options and steps in order of importance to keep your vehicle on the road. They show you the old parts so you know things were replaced as requested.
