I purchased a long from Capitol Reman Exchange a while back and it was a very smooth and easy transaction. The block arrived on schedule and the old block was picked up and returned. I received my refund on the block exchange very quickly and would recommend them to anyone and will do business with again.

If you want to pay $23,000 for a half of a long block, this is your place Paid top dollar, lots of standard parts missing and was told by the warranty department that most people just switch those parts over from their core Well parts being broken is why we bought the new engine in the first place so we ended up spending almost an additional $6000 on parts that they said were included which ended up not being. Chris the owner was provided pictures of our broken engine, and never once , did he point out that the parts that are broken in the picture are excluded from their kits.The warranty department did apologize for the miscommunication but I m still paying out-of-pocket for them not being thorough in their sales process I also have a customer that buys long blocks from them and one of his long blocks dropped the cylinder and they left him high and dry.Will be getting our lawyer involved.

I purchased a reman cummins n14 in 2018 it arrived on time with no issues very easy process and very helpful staff the engine is still running great today 2023 I would recommend capital to anyone looking for a good reman

Our Customer bought a long block from Capital Reman Exchange & from first crank had so much crank pressure (blow by) it would pump the oil out of engine. After going back & forth with engine builders ... we took engine apart to find they installed wrong piston rings. Update 10/6/23 after hiring a lawer they are using loop holes written in there warranty instructions, claiming we didn't follow protocol. Let me make it very clear the whole time I was all but begging them since 3/20/23 for a claim and they never told us that. Instead blamed me for there poor work. They never said anything about it until we hired a dieselmechanic to disassemblethe engine. A warranty is only as good as the paper it's written on. Still hoping they will do right by my customer a lest. Victory Transport Company has lost so much money and time on this.Never trust Capital Reman Exchange for any help or warranty...they are a very bad company in my opinion. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Warranty is trash.Crankshaft broke in 2 places. Oil sample sent in.No contamination. ECM sent.Nothing abnormal. Engine 6 months old.No one stood behind anything. Calls not returned in a timely manner. Do not use this company.CapitalReman not telling the truth .There was lubrication. More dishonesty by Capital Reman.Buyer beware.We have the reading of the ECM.

Motor won't last. Bottom end will fall apart on you. Have bought 2 motors from here and they are both paperweights now. Bottom end on a c10 and the bottom end on a 3406e. Both motor lasted less than 2.5 years with less than 100k miles traveled. Junk

First & foremost, Capital Reman went above and beyond all of our expectations to purchase a new C13 motor. We called to get a quote and in conversations with Chris my husband let Chris know what other offers we had heard of from various companies. Between Chris and Bryan (Chris s manager) both of them were truly concerned about what we would be getting ourselves into from the other companies. They both had a very-high level of knowledge of their products and their competitors downfalls. Capital Reman had what we needed after ordering the kit to match our motor. They helped us very quickly in receiving the motor, oil pump, and oil cooler. All within one weeks time we had what we needed. And even after shipping, Chris has been awesome at answering questions. Customer service is exceptional. The motor is currently being installed but I fully expect the motor to serve us as Chris and Bryan have. If you need a motor, call Chris and Bryan at Capital Reman

These guys are great in customer service. BUTTTT!! The warranty is trash. After only around 4 months the Detroit engine I purchased threw thrust bearings. My mechanic clearly shows where the shaft never sat on one of the bearings. I jumped hoops trying to get a report and sending oil samples. Only to receive an email, at the end of their work day(not even a phone call) to advise that the report didn't have enough information and the oil sample came back good. So they are not standing behind their product. Evidently from what I am now reading on here, I am not the only one getting done wrong! They were so friendly, I was really thinking the company was so much more than what they are!!

I bought a long block through a 3rd party vendor from Capital Reman. I had a local shop put it in and we started having issues not only with the engine but with a breakdown in communication. The long and short of it was that the shop and capital reman ticked each other off and I was stuck in the middle. Capital reman tried to work with me on the issues but their hands were tied due to some decisions the shop made. They provided me with pictures of the entire build process for my engine and we were able to determine the issue with the engine from those. Once I pointed them out to the warranty department they agreed with the findings. At this point there was a lot of negotiations and we all settled on them building a new long block and paying for shipping and install. They actually went above and beyond to make me happy with the engine. If I ever need another engine I will call them again and try to cut out all the middle men from the process.

The crew at Capital Reman is top notch, I specifically worked with Chris. He was able to answer my questions and get me everything I needed. All of sourcing and logistics with freight was prompt and smooth both to me and the core charge items back to them. Thank you Chris, you and your team work like a well oiled machine. I will be using you guys again when the need comes.I definitely recommend giving them a shot if you haven t yet.

The guys at Capital Reman are great to work with extremely knowledgeable and provide a amazing product for the price. It s not every day that you will find a ready to go bolt in long block engine at this price ! I would recommend anybody that runs the Cummings engines that needs a a good engine to use these. As far as we can tell, they are highly upgraded from the factory Cummins engines, and these guys do an amazing job at improving and giving a longer lifespan in the factory does. ! We run heavy trucks in big sky, Montana pulling large loads of gravel up the mountain all year round, and I am nothing short of impressed with their engines ! I would recommend them to anybody for any application

In a time where obtaining critical engine parts are extremely hard to obtain, capital reman was able to obtain and build an engine for my truck.Josh was extremely helpful, gave me a time line, and held to it. Engine was shipped and received on time cutting my down time by at least a month, if not longer.My Volvo is running great and fuel mileage is doing absolutely fantastic.If I am in a position where I need a heavy duty engine again, I will be a return customer.Thabk you Josh, and Capital Reman for their excellent and timely service.William HiltonFleet ManagerWare Transport

We ordered a set of cam followers for a N14. They did not have any rebuilt at the moment but they started to work on it immediately after the order went in. The followers came in an a timely manner. Brandon K. provided us with courteous and timely service. I had a couple of questions about core return and he was very helpful even after the sale. I would highly recommend Capital Reman exchange. The cam followers were as good as new.

I purchased a cat c7 reman. They had it ready in a couple weeks and shipped it to my repair shop. It was a very easy transaction. They responded to all my emails within a couple of hours. Even after the sale. Brandon was very professional and help after the sale with core return and maintenance questions. 8 months and 7000 miles still doing great.

Great big thank you to all those at Capital Reman. I now have over 700k on the 60 series Detroit you built for me and it s going strong. The next time I need an engine, I ll certainly give you a call and I hope others needing a good quality reman will do the same.

I bought a reman motor from them and I believe it was rushed through their building process. The freeze out or blowout plugs were not completely knocked in and after switching everything from my old motor and finally started up for the first time in my frame, the blowout plugs started leaking and I called Capital Reman to complain and they sent me a new $4.00 plug.

I purchased a long block. I drove the truck 8000 miles. The crank broke they did not stand behind the warranty. I later sent the crank and the head to a machine shop that told me the head was not a reman head had miles on it and the crank had multiple cracks. If you buy a engine form this company. Just know you will have no warranty. They do not stand behind their equipment. If they resolve the problem I will let you know.

I have purchased several engines from Capital Reman over the years on various projects. Very pleased with the workmanship and quality of their product. Any issues that do arise, they are quick to determine a resolution. Josh Dieringer is great to work with.

These guys are crooks! They will not honor any warranty and they build really poor engines out of spec with mis matched after market parts. I hope you read this before making the $35,000 mistake that I made. I am sure the response they come up with will paint me as the bad guy as all of the other bad reviews have done but people don't be fooled.Nice Response! Just as I suspected, nothing is ever there fault. Don't trust these guys for anything! They will rob you blind and then tell you it is your fault. Worst experience I have had in a long time.
